...Nourish and Naturalize were garbage tier cards that never saw play? Wow how times have changed!! This got me wondering about what other cards are out there that people think about. Is there a card (or cards) that you have a particularly strong feeling about? Maybe they were irrelevant, maybe god like (Undertaker comes to mind), but something changed.
This isn't meat to be a pure salt thread (though salt is welcome). I actually like the way the meta has changed to make Nourish a valuable card (though I am tired of OTK decks). Curious to see what you remember.
Nourish was garbage cause ancient of lore existed and UI didn't the card wasn't bad, but the meta was very aggresive back then and druid had fewer defensive options.. same reason with naturalize is good now.. too many defensive tools in druid.
Back when all you needed was undertaker and like 15 other deathrattle 1/2 drops to win games.
Easily my favorite old card though is Warsong commander. She's literally been through hell and hasn't come back yet, but hopefully they'll change her sometime soon.

I don't have something witty about this deck, I just like it because Malygos is fun.
Back when all you needed to win was Force of Nature + Savage Roar. And god help you if you left up a single minion on their board before the combo.
When Ancient of Lore was actually a good card. Good times.
Back when Druids had a start of game effect saying "Set your opponents health to 16". Miss those times. Back when you could deal 100 damage in a turn with Patron Warrior. Those were the glory days.
Remember when Murlocs were a joke, even pre-nerf Warleader?
Remember when Pirates were a joke, even Southsea Captain?
Remember when the earliest you got a better Hero Power was turn 5? Remember when the only Paladins that ran upgraded Hero Powers were fringe control decks?
Remember when Control could beat Aggro most of the time if only it played optimally? Remember when "combo deck" generally meant Freeze Mage or Miracle Rogue? Remember when 30 armor was a lot?
Remember when hitting a 50/50 turn 2 coinflip could decide tempo games (Flame Juggler)?
Remember when control matchups considered fatigue damage as part of their win condition, as early as turn 2 or 3? Remember when a deck winning on turn 6 or 7 was considered fast?
Remember when a 7-mana 7/7 that summoned two 1/1s (that may explode) was an auto-include in virtually every deck because of how strong it was?

not like I'm salty or anything, or really miss pre standard hearthstone. no, not at all.
Remember when Nat Pagle could actually have a chance to draw you a card? When he was good enough to Disenchant a lot of your cards to be able to craft him? (I did, and then missed the chance to get full value for disenchanting him when they nerfed him xD)
Remember when your turn 8 Tirion was immediately Mind Controlled if you didn't bait it out? (which was hard because of lack of threats really, you didn't want them to mindcontrol Ragnaros or Sylvanas either...I hated Priests for the longest time T_T)
I miss my Control Paladin :'(

Auchenai Soulpriest has lost its relevance but Cabal Shadow Priest still sees play in every non meme priest deck.
Anyone remember when Arcane Golem had charge and u could have nice otk combos ?
Back when I used to dust legendaries I pulled a Hadronox....but there was no use for it so to the dustbin it went. Oops.
yeah and druid would either use a couple of 3 mana Big Game Hunter or a mark of the wild+ the black knight combo to remove stuff instead of using Naturalize,
also everything died to face hunter ahhhhh...how i hated those times!! >:(
