As we all know, Casual mode has been filled with meta decks, mostly aggro, which is annoying for those who wants to play without stressing on ranked mode, or just to try new things or meme decks. Well, I already accepted this reality and now I try the most to not let this ruin my fun.
But, sometimes, people crosses the line of stupidity, and I think this is very well represented in this picture:
A guy who has 500+ victories with Warlock in Ranked and even have hit Legend, playing on Casual the most successful deck in the current meta. A deck any bot can pilot. An archetype that exists since the beggining of this game, so don't tell he was practicing.
And, what is worse, the guy ropes me turn after turn.
Fortunately, his stupidity was punished, and I managed to win this game. And it felt so good.
While in this scenario it is clear your opponent is BMing you it is also vastly stupid to say people only play net decks/tier decks in casual to practice or BM. Some people simply like those decks because they are fun to play. Maybe one or more of the net decks are an adaptation of a deck that player used to play or the playstyle is similar to another favorite deck they play. For example, most druid combo decks share many similar OTK trademarks with a deck like Freeze Mage via lots of armor gain/invulnerability, lots of removal, lots of stall, lots of cycling, and lots of damage for lethal. Odd Rogue shares many similarities with a deck like Dragon Warrior/Tempo Warrior.
Maybe boting to get 3-win-gold at maximum day rate?
There was a reddit post about a guy that admitted using bots for years and blizz not doing a thing about it...
BTW, I agree with you about stupidity in casual... I play it mostly to get quests done and to try new decks. Every time I'm playing 1-cost cards for completing quests (and not going face to let the other know I'm not being serious), I play against someone that tries to defeat me as if it was a true match....
If you don't want to get intentionally roped, then don't play casual. People (bots?) rope there so the opponent has a chance to concede to find a new opponent since there's no downside of conceding in casual
I'm not sure whether you mean the pinnacle is your opponent for what he is doing it, or you for having to post about it.
I mean, I do dislike people like the opponent you faced, "people" farming gold in Casual with Aggro decks that should be in Ranked (in my opinion) is not something I appreciate, but I also don't understand your need to post about this. I'd more likely rope him because of what he is doing, than actually post anything about it here.
E já agora, que horror, tens o jogo em Português o.O.
No, you may think that creating this thread instead of posting on the salt thread was stupid, but even if it is it wouldn't not the pinnacle of stupidity. And cut me some slack. I deserve it, after facing so many zoolocks in Casual today.
And my game is in Portuguese 'cause everytime there's an update the language is switched, and this time I was lazy to change it back.

Oh, this happens to me so many times. In some games people still BM me. Losers.
As we all know, Casual mode has been filled with meta decks,
I disagree, I was playing Whizbang on casual and I rarely faced any complete meta decks. Most of them are inspired by meta decks but are not exact rip off, like I faced a taunt warrior that had a golden hero and looked like a complete meta deck but then he started playing shit like Lord of the Arena and Furious Ettin.

Lucky you then. I've played around 20 games on casual today, the majority against Heallocks, and the others were Mech Hunters and Even Shamans. The most different was a couple Rush Warriors and a Bunny Rogue. And none of these decks had any card that's not on the lists you can find in this very website.

Casual has its own hidden MMR. Your opponents are always your equal. If you are actually fighting Furious Ettins, then good for you. People who are always complaining about netdecks in casual are either guilty of their own peeves or their decks are not as off-meta as they think
Even when I take a joke deck (as many pirates or weapons possible for daily quest) I run into aggro vermin on the casual side. It's annoying. I actually have have had more control/OTK opponents in ranked lately.
I must be the exception -- I came back after leaving Hearthstone and struggled with almost nothing but the Naxx set in wild two years ago with thief priest. Had more fun relearning the game with a mish-mash of old cards and wtf are you using that for that than loading up my deck with aggro garbage like murlocs they push on newbie/F2P players.

You must be playing standard then. I just finished playing against a Deathrattle Shaman in wild casual.
Standard is more likely to have fewer off-meta decks because the pool is so small. This is even more the case since standard's card pool isn't at its maximum number of sets yet.
Oh, this happens to me so many times. In some games people still BM me. Losers.
Me too. After my fifth weapon played as a warrior or seventh divine shield minion in a row, you'd think they'd take the hint and realize it's not a serious match.
To the OP: While there's probably not a good reason for specifically for playing zoo since it does really well on ladder, when I'm worried about dropping on the ladder, I'll often take normal decks to casual to finish off quests with classes I don't play as much. Additionally, if you already have a golden hero for a class, there's no added incentive to play matches in ranked (particularly if you're done ranking or are at legend already). You'll have an easier time making your gold in casual mode. While I still choose to play ranked with rogue (almost 1000 wins now), it's because I enjoy the challenge of molding my homebrews to be able to beat meta decks. Others don't necessarily feel that draw.

Most of the casual decks are f2p players netdecking and filling in the gaps with similar minions. At least that's what I observe.

good for you buddy, you're fighting the good fight. Especially with what looks like pick pocket rogue, my favourite deck
Maybe next time post in the Pepper Thread, instead of making a new one.
The pinnacle of stupidity... is making a thread about this

I feel bad for people who don't see the problem with a Golden Legend Warlock playing a Tier 1 deck in Casual while BMing the entire match.
Something needs to be done about this, but it's likely impossible to manage.
Come visit my Card Emporium. Strange things, you will find inside...
Come take the test, if you're daring. Feel free to show me your results in a message.

Rank 20 - 18 in wild is a far better 'casual mode'...try it. Just don't climb much higher, you'll start running into Big Priest scum.

Waste of time. People who play zoo and the like in casual are usually bots. You'd be surprised how realistic some of these can be
