So its been 4 days and i have yet to play against any cubelocks. Typically even after a nerf people try and play the deck but i havent seen ONE cubelock in over 30 games played so far. I dont think people are just fooling around anymore because normally the honeymoon is only about 1 to 2 days. I have seen people go to Even Warlock which i think is overated tbh because not getting Voidlord or Doomguard is the reason Cubelock was as good as it was. But if Cubelock is a bad deck now im pretty happy with that. is the nerf to lackey bigger than expected?
I think it's a combination of what IDBY said (people followed bad advice and nerfed cards) and boredom. The EvenLock hype train is in full effect...until people realize it's just a weird middle version of CubeLock and ControLock.
I believe CubeLock is still probably a T1 or top of T2 deck. Skull of the Man'ari is still an amazing card.

it isn't bad advice to nerf cards you can use that same dust to craft if you want again.
It just shows how many people actually do just net deck the top frustrating most popular decks haha. I haven't really found a super annoying deck yet. Odd rogue can beat you by turn 5 and even shaman is surprisingly strong, but I never get the feeling of "oh here we f*cking go again" against those. I'm surprised how many different decks I've actually seen the last few days.

thats being pretty narrow minded.
Narrow minded? It's a card game that people play for fun

About 98% of a population are 'adopters' who just follow a trend at different points in time (though a few take that trend and build on it). So yeah, 98% netdeck according to studies.
Since the innovators are testing other decks right now the rest are netdecking other decks. Eventually people are going to try to make the old decks work in a tournament. THAT"LL be when we truly know the fade of these decks.

Yes, it is narrow minded, but that doesn't mean it isn't exactly what happened :p This happens every time they nerf a card, even if it's still perfectly playable afterwards. I think Sanguine Reveler might be better than Dark Pact in cubelock now, but other than that they probably wouldn't need to change anything, and you could still run it with Dark Pact anyway.
Personally, I think that the dark pact nerf hurt much more than the possessed lackey nerf, but I’m playing control and not cubelock.
I have a Cubelock deck that runs Despicable Dreadlord instead of Doomguard (which I admittedly took from a Kripp video about his "Ethical Ratlock" deck built to counter the onslaught of Aggro Paladin builds at the beginning of WW). I played it earlier today and found I still healed for way more than a Warlock should be able to, despite the -4 HP nerf to Dark Pact.
Good riddance. Deck had way too many threats and removal to deal with or play around on top of bringing them all back with Bloodreaver Gul'dan. Not fun to verse it didn't get punished from tapping either like old Warlock did because of Dark Pact and Possessed Lackey and to an extent Skull of the Man'ari. Cubelock being Tier 1 for as long as it did was surprising to me tbh.
I use one cube, using control Warlock, so would you call me cubelock or just control Warlock. I took lackeys out and replaced with a heal and a taunt. This deck has dominated most decks I have come up against. Just have to know your opponent and manage your resources to fit which deck your facing.

I also think so, but the poll I made voted for dark pact over Sanguine anyway. I still think pact+lackey+voidlord package needs to get cut and replaced by shroom brewer and rotten applebaum.

Hearthstone is a game of "copy and pasting"
I have seen a couple. The nerfs likely got the netdeck crowd off of the deck, because they likely followed everyone's advice and dusted nerfed cards.
If you are in your first year of playing please read this post.
Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.

In what way, friend...
Hibernating. If I exclude the experience from today, all of my warlock matches were: 4 zoo decks, 3 cubelocks, 1-2 control. So cube will be back.
Inb4 dunno for you, Leute, but I'm lovin' the meta. Everyday I face different decks.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.

burn mage eats lock now. Its a little bit harder to manage your resources. One extra turn and 4 hp less to stop aggro changes things.
P.S. They are playing control Mage.
hi I'm here
There is a great selection of good decks now for netdeckers, not just even pal, spiteful druid or cubelock....and I like it!!
"bigger than expected?" anyone with half a brain knew that the nerfs to lackey and pact were enormous
