Im in the camp that thinks this wont see play because Talderam exists, if you run him, you wont run this card. I cant see having this over something that doubles your cubes unless the meta somehow gets so aggressive you need the extra on demand board pressure, but i dont see how such a hyper aggressive list could exist with all the huge anti-aggro minions hitting the scene.
I think this is a power play in a zoolock, to punch through an esspecially annyoing taunt or something.
Did Cubelock run Void Terror? Then why would it run this? Dark Pacct is run for combo purposes because it's cheap. It works well because you can immediately go Cube + Pact after having played Skull the pervious turn. If you wanted to run this in Cubelock you'd need to play weapon on turn 7 to then combo Cube and Ratcatcher, and for what exactly? More Board control? The Cubelock package is already pretty tight and has no spacee for expensive meme-dreams
For people worrying about this being used in Cubelock, Void Terror never saw play in that archetype despite being pretty similar. I think this card is a much more interesting option for wild zoo with its PO and eggs synergy since zoo is all about trading until you have empty board.
EDIT: Also, for the WOW junkies here, pretty sure that armor set on the ratcatcher is an old rogue one. Seems odd they put it on a warlock card.
Void Terror doesn't see play in Cubelock becasue it is a Demon, not because it doesn't fit, if it wasn't a Demon it could probably see play as a tech dodge to Geist.
Dark Pact could reasonably be nerfed to "Silence a friendly minion, then destroy it. Heal your hero for 8."
"Heal your hero for 8" is worth about 2 mana. The "Destroy a friendly minion" part is tuned as a *drawback* that gets you the discount to 1 mana.

Running this in cubelock means that you won't be running Prince Taldaram. I don't think it's worth it but who knows

might see some play in a zoo type style deck otherwise it could just be more support for cubelock because this can help that deck also.

This can totally be in cubelock. You have Countess Ashmore that can tutor this out with Lesser Amethyst Spellstone and Possessed Lackey or Voidlord

Only card I felt confident enough for meta defining cause it's insuring cubelock doesn't slow down.
