 I appreciate the advice! Might just do something like that since those cards would still be relevant. And yeah i thought pvp with treasures looked cool but if it's wild related i might just stick to standard. 

To everyone saying the RNG stuff, this game is. Literally the way it is, good bad or otherwise, is what makes HS what it is. If it were a turn off (and it was at many times) i wouldn't even make this thread, but a LOT of what i hate is leaving with classic and basic, and I miss a card game i can play while im studying some skillshare or watching something in the BG. 💯

Hey there! So I fell out of the game about halfway through the year of the dragon, long story that basically equates to I wasn't having fun with the game + other games were holding my attention more.

I'm sure you can guess where this thread is going from that alone but after reading these recent changes, I've kind of thought that Hearthstone could be something to pick up casually again. I was reading up on all the news here and it mentioned that there is some returning player Rewards thing that will offer packs as of patch 20.0 and so knowing that should I wait until that patch to fully return? Also any advice for someone returning after basically a year and a half? I think ill have like 12K in dust and a couple thousand gold, as well as have 0 interest in wild. (Duels sounds fun tho!)

 I've barely been here a couple years, and my activity is always fluctuating with my personal struggles. This site had its bugs, trolls, idiots, idiotic trolls, and a lot of mobile issues.

Yet, it's my most visited site (at least 6-10 times a day) it sparked a passion for card creation that i channeled into my own game, i made a couple friends (shockingly lol) that I still play with to this day. From daily news checks to feverishly checking every hour for previews, I just....I legitimately don't know what ill do without this site. 😭😭😭😭😭

Actually, I had a pretty genius idea with this. If nerfed cards give you full dust back because you wouldn't want them anymore, then what would Buff cards be? Something that you want to add your collection ofc!

Knowing that I would propose that blizzard should make the cost to craft any of the buffed cards 50% less then their usual. That way most people could add the more valuable ones for a bit cheaper. 👍

This is just the first in what was called a "story told through the year of the dragon" with each set and it's solo content telling a full Warcraft like story. 

I got quests to complete and you didn't concede right away despite seeing lethal so nope. If you were gonna concede at all just do it, otherwise accept you gave them power over ending the game and they're free to use it as they wish.

Closest to "BMing" in this game is emote spams honestly. Anything else has alternate explanations (tho it ofc depends on the player, making this topic even moor subjective than it already is)

So many people calling Sylvannas scheme busted for a lame ass "OTK" that will only work half the time cause like Tog's or Hag's it requires pulling it turn one and holding it for 10-15 turns (more if they build armor at all) which sure, busted. But how often do literally any of you pull shit like that consistently?

Card is good, relies on RNG to be busted, just like a million other cards both real and not.

This entire game and literally any CCG is just an endless cash grab. Like literally, packs themselves are designed to trigger dopamine hits and spark an addiction, all so you buy more.

and hell this is one of the better discounts since Blizz rarely goes less than a dollar per pack, AND these still have a year relevance. Idk this whole comment sounds dumb and childish.

Big same, every damn day. It's gotten to the point i just don't come here on mobile.

If wild is so great and deserving of balance to the level of standard, why did they make standard at all??? 

Hard to convince players the format is worth anything when the company itself doesn't. 

Sorry can't here you over how much i outplay your shitty autopilot decks by using something with multiple possible uses for each card.

So it sounds like all im hearing is "because wild" but I've seen probably all these same people bitching about a LOOOTTT of wild stuff. Hell i didn't even know you'd play anything odd or even in that shitshow of a mode that even Blizzard doesn't address more than once or twice a year. Seems like better decks would exist.

But okay, sure. I was just saying in the entire list of latest nerfs, 2 were classic cards. The rest rotate right alongside baku and genn, and i guess i just don't get this wild mode. Nerfs exist for it? I thought the point of the mode was everything is......wild.

Either way, thanks i guess for the replies i just thought it weird rotating cards were nerfed a month before rotating, and then a classic card that seemed meh to me got nerfed cause even shaman is scary? Yeesh, glad I don't touch that mode idk how y'all have fun.
