I had an outstanding time with Giant Mage. Frost Giant, Mountain Giant, Molten Giant. Duplicate, Effigy and Echo. Unstable portal, arcane intelect and forgotten torch for early game.
I like Druid because of wild growth and innervate.... Also power of the wild, bite, claw, living roots are great beginning game cards to deal damage, spawn minions, and gain armor.
Made a warrior with tons of weapons and upgrade in deck, demolished everyone I played against. Made a hunter (don't have lock and load) still won pretty easily. That's all I've tried thus far, but warrior roflstomped.
I've just made a nice and fun rogue deck, you can check it out here, in case you want to try something different :) Since I made it today, it still might need some changes:
Not many cards over here, but I am managing to find running a Hunter deck with 2 flares, Explorer legendaries, and 2 Ravenholdt Assassins to squeak away victories at an alarming rate. These Mages and their spells have victory written all over them. I found this was my only answer and proves to be strong in the 6 turns that can be used for smaller, useful, and draining spells.
hunter and warrior, early Ogre Warmaul is free damage to the face.
I was playing Druid earlier and got Innervate and Astral Communion while on the coin. Turn 2 I played Icehowl. The warrior then proceeded to "attack" Icehowl twice with the Ogre Warmaul. I lol'ed very hard.

What do people think?
I've seen many druids, but to be honest, I don't think it's the best class for this brawl..
I'd say mage or priest. Mage have many good secrets and stall, while priest have mind games and resurrect and efficient removals.
Also, a comment that this brawl would be a nightmare for new players, with only basic card one can't even build a deck.

My Druid deck...Went 1:0 and that's all that matters, I only brawl for the free pack and sometimes daily completion...
Turn 4 I had astral
Around Turn 6 or 7 I laid down Chromagus
Turn after I pulled clockwork and with my opponents hand his cost was reduced to 5, so I played him twice...
From there my opponent got Rekt...
Probably not the best deck in the world, but it worked to get me the pack, and that's all that matters.
I play mage because of unstable portal and the secrets like effigy, mirror entity, and duplicate.
Deck I've been using.
Had a 6-0 run (Mage daily challenge) and am still playing, handles druid very well actually.
I used a freeze mage variant minus the card draw minions, add more burn and a couple of extra fatties.
Threw together a Druid deck. 2xRecycle ftw.

Warrior works for me. Only two minions one Obsidian and Gromash. So far 7 wins ,1 loss against a Druid.

I made a Paladin deck to win my first few brawls. Hero power every turn, plus Muster BOK/BOM made the first few games a walk in the park.
Warrior and Rogue are very fast in dealing out lethal. :) but warrior has more durability so I like warrior.
BBQ an egg?
Hunter works perfectly for me.
Warrior and Mage worked good for me.
