Sure, let's make Rogue a class that has no weakness. Give them weapon better than Fiery War Axe and Spirit Claws combined, give them AoE that puts every other AoE spell to shame and give them conditionless Reno.
I'm so sick of whiny ass Rogue players. Paladin hasn't been viable since the introduction of Standard, yet I don't see nearly as much complaints from Paladin players.
without any basic control tools and if shaman a class that before tgt only had Vitality Totem for class healing and then out of nowhere they get healing wave yhea I think you could bring rogue some small healin.
but hey what does it matter we can still play miracle and miracle and miracle and miracle.
Before standard, rogues had a good AoE - Blade Flurry, good neutral heal - Antique Healbot and although it wasn't a weapon, Tinker's Sharpsword Oil was a great weapon buff. Even with all these cards rogue wasn't OP or tier 1. On the other hand, secret paladin dominated ladder since TGT launch.
Actually Rogue was tier 1 up to TGT and then she started getting the shaft.
Funny thing is even though Miracle Rogue is tier 1 at the moment, it's overall played less than Pirate Warrior, Jade Druid, Aggro Shaman, Reno Warlock, Dragon Priest, Reno Priest, except in Legend.
At least people won't complain about running into too many Rogues, but this might be why the class is not expanded on much.
Aggro rogue is good enough of a deck but for some reason, people only want to play curve/control games and don't care about fast tempo games so this deck is ignored most of the time. I might get locked up for saying this but shadow rager is good enough of a card (in aggro rogue obviously) to be played.
On top of that, jade rogue is a deck and a decent one at that.
The worst thing is that a few days after MSG I was claiming that rogue was tier 1 in these kinds of whine threads and people laughed.
"no heals, no aoe how can it be tier 1" But rogue doesn't rely on that.
There are countless ways to build rogue and with the auctioneer it is probably the only class which can consistently draw through their entire deck. The reliance on auctioneer is a strength, not a weakness.
If you are still complaining, I would recommend you open the deckbuilder, select paladin and try to find 30 cards you actually want to put in your deck.

In the competitive scene and on meta sites secret paladin was considered tier 1 only for a brief moment.
It's only here on hearthpwn forums where it was considered unbeatable since the dawn of time.
in last 12 games, I have mulliganed into or drawn in first 5 cards either Yogg, Nzoth or both, 7 times) and I look at Shaku not making the cut and get sad around heart.
Soooooo, you're running 2 10 drops, refuse to replace 1 with a 3 drop (or anything for that matter) and then complain about bad mulligans in a fast meta?
1) Rogue players cry like little babies because they thought rogue would be awful in the MSG meta.
Reality: Um, idiots, Rogue is tier 1. Shows the majority of rogue players don't know SHIT in reality.
2) Rogue players whine "we don't get AOE removal and massive heals to make our class perfect"
Reality: We don't want another cancer deck, although it certainly seems like you do.
3) Rogue players whine "we only have one viable class archetype"
Reality: Um WRONG AGAIN....rogue has at least 3. Nobody is saying all of these are viable for legend runs (for most players), but they are playable decks. There aren't many classes with multiple legend capable decks.
CONCLUSION: Rogue players are definitely seriously whiny and should probably STFU the next time they attempt to criticize Blizzard (or anyone else for that matter) when they CLEARLY have significant trouble evaluating archetype tiers and such limited knowledge of the game in general.
People have strange connections to classes for whatever bizarre reason. Rogue is a combo heavy miracle, spell based class and people want more out of the class instead of accepting that there are multiple classes for a reason.

Hunter cant draw or itd be a top tier control class too with strong AOE, value cards, a hero power that wins long games on its own, and reasonable removal tools.
Just like priest cant get on board early, druid cant clear large boards and paladin has no spot removal, Rogue has its weaknesses as well. Theres a reason there are 9 classes in hearthstone. If you want something else, play a different class. The real question you should be asking is why tempo mage is pushed and not tempo rogue when the class is clearly tempo based.

Im so sick of whiny assholes like you.
no we dont want an op class .
but at the same time whats the point of giving Rogue control cards like Anub'arak,Beneath the Grounds, Shadowcaster

Rouge doesn't have miracle as the only archetype. Jade and Aggro. Both have been very successful for me and enjoyed playing both of them.

So let me sum up this thread so far:
1) Rogue players cry like little babies because they thought rogue would be awful in the MSG meta.

tl;dr: Whiny Rogue players should STFU.
People have strange connections to classes for whatever bizarre reason. Rogue is a combo heavy miracle, spell based class and people want more out of the class instead of accepting that there are multiple classes for a reason.
I am ok with many arguments in this topic but really rogue don't deserve 1, a single one, good weapon for make justice the nerf in your best card?
