I found secret hunter to be great right now but it requires either good draw to get the cards you need or a lot of draw if you dont draw well. In my deck i went ahead and employed Cult Master and it worked more consistently, but i think the meta is still going to be rough any time new cards are released. New deck builds and strategy each week will be wrenches in the gears of ranked play.
I am not sure how high i will make it at all this season for this reason. I can't help but tinker and experiment with new cards and although eventually i come up with a viable deck idea, so did others. It can be difficult to keep up with, learn and overcome these new encounters efficiently enough to rank up as one would two months into an expansion's life. I will not give up though! Sadly, i do not like testing decks in casual unless it's just a concept deck. I like to test them in the same sort of meta i intend to play them.
This week i was doing well, better after refining decks, but it will start all over tomorrow; the quest for optimization of new decks and archetypes using new and exciting cards. In the end i enjoy discovering things rather than waiting for them to be discovered on hearthpwn, so it will be interesting what results i get by the end of the month. Two weeks to go! This also means the beginning of September is going be nuts with Medivh, the Guardian in the mix.
matronator Well, w/ mid-hunter's deck it's probably all the same, rank 11 or rank 5 (slightly better players and more obvious decks), and it doesn't take that long w/ win-streaks. You shall continue to climb (btw, there is no real meaning in keeping your 11 rank, only max rank counts towards chest-rewards), and toward the fear of losing ranks - fight it)
Dragon warrior's the most overall viable but I reckon you'll have more luck with hunter as it's a direct counter to all the (other) warriors out there.

Look, I want to tell you something because you're very dear to me. And I hope you understand that it comes from the bottom of my damaged, damaged heart. You are the finest piece of ass I've ever had and I don't care who knows it. I am so glad that I got to roam those hillsides.
^^Yes, I played some BogChamp over this weekend. The problem with it is, drawing cards. In most situations, I found myself not having anything to build up and just barely surviving by clearing board.
That being said, once you get the taunts up, the game is pretty much in your hands. Aggro Warriors were destroyed yesterday as they couldn't get past the big taunts every turn.
Little inconsistent, but when it works, it's great. I have a winrate of like 65% something with it.

Betrayer... In truth, it was I who was betrayed. Still, I am hunted. Still, I am hated. Now, my blind eyes see what others cannot: that sometimes the hand of fate must be forced! Now go forth... unleash the tides of Doom... Upon all those...who would oppose us.
Nailed it with some more-than-hard-work Reno mage and priest.

What decklist were u using figjam? I found this 1 at the first page of this thread http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/594132-nzoth-bog-shaman and i rly want 2 make it but itll cost me 2.1k dust and idk if its worth it. Is this version better or Frodans one?
Interesting deck. You can save 1600 dust on Chillmaw and replace with other deathrattle card. 400 dust as well on Eternal Sentinel. This version seems to be half BogChamp and half N'Zoth. Not sure how is the consistency. Will give it a go later today and share results.

I didnt had Cairn 7/8 taunt and this 2 mana rare card, made them all now, its rly fun to play, had 2x sylvana, 2x cairn + chillmaw from nzoth xd
Well, glad to hear that. :D

I've never liked infested wolf and was pretty happy to replace one for barnes in my list. I would cut one and put in second bow. I find bear trap seriously under performs. I run one but am looking forward to cutting it altogether for Cat Trick. In meantime i'd probably still cut one from your list for snake or second explosive.
Looks like EU as I faced a lot of hunters with this deck.
Second point is to see some kind of poll. Like that we would see that 50% of people hit legend as cancer hunter, 49% as cancer shaman and 1% with any other kind of deck lol

Is midrange shaman good in this meta? Which version is best atm?
Taz'dingo! Ye-e-es!
Rank last season: Legend rank 5477
Here is the list I have used to get my golden epic this month. Any suggestions will be appreciated. :P

Anyone tried control (bogchamp or similar list) shaman? want to know how it performs on ladder thinking about crafting it.

The classic tier: Reno Jackson | Elise Starseeker | Brann Bronzebeard.

I haven't played HS this season. How is the meta now after Karazhan? Is it still a lot of Shamans and Dragon Warriors?
Everything that isn't about elephants is irrelephant.
W00t I did it! FeelsLegendMan.

Hit legend as Yogg Druid Yo!
Just remember the good times!
So the meta is Cancer hunter and cancer shaman atm?
Regarding my post a few posts earlier.

druid is such a niche class indeed…
