Trying to make legend for the first time this month. I am at 13 right now playing Hunter. I have been using Midrange, as well as the N'zoth list that J4CKIECHAN was using. Midrange is doing far better thus far. Although I seem to be the only player on the NA ladder that is seeing a ton of Zoolock. And the aggro Shaman matchup is really bad. I am trying to adjust to stop aggro a little better, but midrange has a hard time fighting it. Anybody have any tech suggestions for midrange Hunter to have a better matchup against aggro? I;m running two explosive traps, and two stampeding kodos already.

I'm playing Zoolock this Season and have about a 62% winrate vs. Hunter, so it is not a favorable match up against you. When I do lose, it is because the Hunter players gets off to a quick start, and stays aggressive. This puts me on the defensive to trade with his minions and not deal much damage. With all the damage to face, combined with Life Tap, my life total gets dangerously low. early on A good Unleash the Hounds is more problematic than a Kodo. I'd go with that and the two explosive traps. If you're already running 2 hounds, consider running the deal 1 damage minions - Flame Juggler and Fiery Bat. They usually ping the right minions, at least in my matches.
Look, I want to tell you something because you're very dear to me. And I hope you understand that it comes from the bottom of my damaged, damaged heart. You are the finest piece of ass I've ever had and I don't care who knows it. I am so glad that I got to roam those hillsides.
The C'thun warrior is pretty much lifecoach's C'thun with a second brawl instead of Baron Gedon. Token druid is G2's token druid. Aggro shaman is tictac's rank 1 finish shaman from last month. Worgen Warrior is the refined deck with commanding shouts/wild pyro. Zoo warlock is just a standard Doomguard with an ooze for the warriors.

I really thought about running C'thun Warrior this month, probably would have been best for reaching legend.
the best way to beat the cancer is with bigger cancer.
aka, Face Shaman with tech cards, got me to rank 5 easily enough so i don't see why it wouldn't work for you as well
I can't play Face decks, I don't have the right mindset for it, I don't enjoy the playstyle at all.
I played Face Shaman a tiny bit to try it last season, just hated it really.
Yepp. I really have the same thing. I always trade to keep controll, but this meta is all about face. They nerfed patronwarrior in the past because it was too powerfull. Now everybody runs decks that decides the game in the first 3 turns
After many adjustments to the deck, I've decided the Shaman match up isn't winnable and have instead adjusted the deck to win harder against Druid and Warrior, which has brought the deck up to a 55% winrate overall so far.
Xaril is a pretty good card for you to play. Shadowcaster and Twilight Summoner are also underestimated cards, I really advice you to take them into consideration. Arch-thief rafaam is a card that i like but i don't feel like there is much place for it in your deck. A card which isn't taken into consideration that often but is very very great in this deck (i've played a lot of n'zoth reno rogue) is wild pyromancer.

The only reason Xaril isn't in the list is because I don't have him, still gathering some dust to craft, he will be added soon though.
I'm not sure what I want to take out for him though, Senjin has been really good.
Rafaam and Ragnaros were recent additions to the deck because I felt I didn't have enough power plays, in the case of vs. C'thun Warrior, he would just double brawl my N'zoth, and I'd lose without any other wincons, so it's nice that Ragnaros adds pressure and Rafaam can win on his own.
Since I don't run Emperor, I feel Shadowcaster might be a dead card, since I can't play her and N'zoth even if I one tick on both of them, so I have Skulker instead to just clear Zoo boards, which feels like a solid match up if I draw properly.
That's just my reasoning behind some choices, not saying they're right.
Wild Pyro sounds like an interesting idea, and would give me a third aoe, though I feel I suffer more dealing with high stat early minions (Like Shaman) instead of low health spreads, this is something I'd like to test for sure, but would have to figure out what to cut.
Just went from 13 to 17 while streaming.. I feel so bad right now.. Played mid range hunter and everything went wrong! Don't think I won one card draw or 50/50 with bat/toad..
Any f2p players that reached legend this season? if so any tips please? i always end up at rank 4 i mean its not that bad, but i wanna get legend.
Currently using zoo, mid range hunter and shaman. Switching decks sometimes when i have bad match ups.
stay with midrange hunter, it should be gas in the warrior madness right now ...
f2p is such a broad term these days. Do you mean someone with a limited card collection or just simply haven't spent any money? A f2p player who started playing since the release can just as well have every single card in the game by now.

I believe I've found the deck I'm going to run for the rest of the season, which is Tempo Miracle Rogue.
It's Lifecoach's deck, with a few techs against the massive amounts of aggro at the moment, has Senjin and I'm trying to see if I can fit in ooze.
If anyone else has any other suggestions for techs against Face Shaman and Dragon Warrior that be great.

I tried having fun once. It was awful.
Gonna Legend with Priest.

Are you a masochist?
Dragon warrior? DansGame
All joking aside, grats on the golden lock :)
So far I'm 18-24 with Rogue as a whole this season, not looking too good.
vs. Mage 0 - 3
vs. Shaman: 0 - 6
vs. Warrior: 7 - 6
vs. Hunter 7 - 0
vs. Warlock 2 - 3
I got legend two days ago. These were my stats, although I did play on a second PC so they might be incomplete:
C'Thun Warrior 24W 14L 63.2%
Token Druid 31W 19L 62.0%
Aggro Shaman 28W 18L 60.9%
Worgen Warrior 48W 31L 60.8%
Zoo Warlock 13W 16L 44.8%
