Everyone knows that when Blizzard nerfs cards they are practically unplayable garbage, and I want to turn to you guys, how would you do it if you were going to nerf the cards?
My take:
Sacrificial Pact: This one is pretty simple, they want to save Lord Jaraxxus and make the card less strong against the new DH class... so it would probably read something like: 0 mana Destroy a friendly demon, restore 5 health to your hero.
Bad-Luck Albatross: This one I think is a problem because of the stats rather then its effect... To keep its effect we should change the stats and manacost... so keeping the same text and make it a 4 mana 3/3
Frenzied Felwing: it just comes out too early, so the manacost should be adjusted to 5 or 6 mana
Open the Waygate: This one is a special one, because changing the cost of the card would make it awkward, increasing the spells played wont have much effect because mage in wild can create so many spells with Invocation and Mana Cyclone, so they should change the reward to make it less powerfull with Archmage Vargoth, so my take would be to change the manacost of the reward to 7 or even 8 mana to make it uncombinable with vargoth (unless you run Emperror Thaurissan.
Bloodbloom: They said they want to nerf DH Warlock, but increasing this cards cost will also effect Mecha'thun warlock I dont know if that is what they want, but if they want to save Mecha'thun the change should be in the text. The next spell that would cost 5 or less mana costs 5 health instead. While this would nerf DH warlock it would allow Mecha'thun in the format.
The 2 DH cards that could see a nerf are in my opinion Priestess of Fury a great statted card with an insanely awesome ability that can be cheated out on turn 5 after a turn 4 Raging Felscreamer and make a beautiful curve... I would change this card to 7 mana 5/6, At the end of your turn, deal 5 damage randomly among all enemies. This way, the card is less strong, but still good enough to be played...
Another card in DH that might get a nerf is not Altruis the Outcast, but Glaivebound Adept, My take would be changing the stats from 7/4 to 5/4.
Albatross is not an issue. Its DH stupid card draw. The only issue is DH (in standard). The fact the cant see this once again proves they cannot balance the game.
First of all, I don't play wild so keep in mind that I won't talk about 2 wild cards.
Sac Pac - target friendly demons. Restore 5 health
Albatross - maybe increasing the mana cost by 1 or reducing stats by -1/-1. Or making the deathrattle into: Shuffle 1/1 albatrosses into BOTH player's deck. This way it won't be autoinclude into almost every deck. This way decks that draw too fast or decks that don't have the no duplicate restriction won't be bothered by getting 2 1/1 birds into their deck as well.
Fellwing - maybe mana cost to 5 or 6 or lower the stats by 1 health
Kael'thas - maybe third spells cost 1 mana or just make it that you can use his effect once per turn?
DH cards would be the Battlefiend make it 1 attack (grows slower) or 1 health (same growth but easy to kill). Second card would be Priestess of Fury reducing the effect to only minions or reducing stats by -1/-1 (maybe? not so sure)
Anyways, my predictions. Honestly I'm fine by the meta that it it right now. Personally I'm not having problems with any of these cards so even without these balance changes I'm fine with it, but also curious how will meta change after them.
I wonder why people take it for granted that DH is getting nerfed further.
They only said that they will keep an eye on DH and MAYBE consider doing something to one or two cards. It's an opposite to literally naming the cards they would like to address, like Albatross and Kael'thas.
Honestly, I don't think DH is getting nerfed if current meta will be maintained. I know complaining about DH is fancy and stuff, but looking at stats, nerfing DH would actually be unfair towards it, since Priest, Druid and Warlock have similar/better statistics.

changing the priestess to only be able to target minions makes it a lot stronger instead of weaker... you can then calculate the amount of health on the field and act that way, while when she can hit face it still is uncertain if you can kill the board with her ability.

To live is to suffer, to survive is to find meaning in the suffer!
For me personally, a waygate nerf would matter most, and I would like to see it become something like "spend X mana on spells that didn't start in your deck". this way they can't BS you to death with 0 cost spells from apprentice.
I'm not entirely sure what they'd do to albatross, but if they can find a way to make it not counter pure paladin, I'll count myself lucky.

Thats actually a whole lot better idea!

I agree, that's a great suggestion for Kael'thas Sunstrider! "The 3rd spell you cast for each turn costs 0". Not the 6th, or 9th, but only the third.
I think Glaivebound adept is just way too aggressively stated for something that can do 4 damage to face with just a 1 mana hero power.
It should be like a 5/4 or a 4/5.
If Demon Hunter had a hero power like Druid and didn't have 0 mana spells that gave +1 attack, glaivebound adept would have been balanced. But not with 0 mana +1 attacks and 1 mana hero powers that makes the upside of 4 damage from a 5 mana 7/4 too easy to get.
Altruis the Outcast is on my nerf list for DH. He can lead to too heavy swing turns: you wipe your opponents board while playing minions, drawing cards and healing yourself. And on top of that you deal a quite amount of face damage.
Edit: Forgot my nerf prediction: I hope they remove the face damage.

Many of the Quest Mage decks don’t even run Vargoth anymore, I hope that’s not their solution.

Sact pact=can only target your own demons
Albatross=4 mana
Sunstrider=3rd spell costs 1
Felwing=2/2
Waygate=10 instead of 6
Bloodbloom=4 mana
DH needs a nerf to their early game and will still be OP because warlock no longer counters DH.
I would love to see health cap removed from jaraxxus
altruis to only deal damage to minions and not face, it's stupid how much face damage that card does while clearing your entire board.
If they are doing felwing..
I think they should revisit Kabal Crystal Runner
Anubisath Defender
It needs a huge nerf like they did with Corridor Creeper
Sacrificial Pact: Lifesteal, deal 3 dmg to a demon
Bloodbloom: 0 mana: deal 2 dmg to your hero, your next spell played this turn costs 2 less
For me personally, a waygate nerf would matter most, and I would like to see it become something like "spend X mana on spells that didn't start in your deck". this way they can't BS you to death with 0 cost spells from apprentice.

Bad Luck Albatross' stats will stay the same, but only shuffle in one albatross instead of two.
You saw it here first
...or 28th, I don't know.
albatross should be 3 mana destroy zephrys wherever he is and have your way with his mother
