Meanwhile in kripp's stream earlier using his aggressive Jade Rogue he lost almost every match against Pirate Warrior. :v
was that the same "aggrssive" deck that had sylvannas and rag? that's more midrangy if anything.
my tempo jade deck (only 6 drop aya, caps at a single sprint) is pretty even vs PW. Gets destroyed by priest, but other than that, i out-tempo tempo mages, jade druids, grimmy goon decks, hunters. haven't faced CW with that deck yet, but i don't see me losing easily. I skip nzoth entirely in that deck and rely on shadowsteps for fast golem generation.
My cthun jade deck, as well, deals pretty good vs pirates with 8! sources of 2 point damage for clears+tempo.
Just asking... at what rank are you playing?.... i am already rank 3... and i dont see any rogue... that's why becauuse jade rogue suckks.... there's no point to build a deck that is worst version of another one...... Jade Druid is SOOOO much better in every aspect... even Jade Shaman is more agressive than Jade rogue....

Wow. Just read the thread and you'd maybe understand some of the points people are bringing up. IMO the reason why nobody is playing Jade Rogue is because the only high rated deck on hearthpwn with it has Gang Up, making it inconsistent and slow. There are many people doing very well with Jade Rogue while everyone else is just playing FOTM decks that get high upvotes.
Jade rogue has some of the best early tempo swing cards that allow it to push hard against other decks. It has more synergies for golems than shaman does and at a cheaper cost. It has difficulty with face decks but beats out slower decks like Jade druid and priest decks.
I only had problems with pirate warrior if i get a really lousy draw. All other decks can be beaten. Good to hear you're already on rank 3, but some of us have jobs and families and don't have time to grind it out the whole day. Have fun.

Can confirm the issue, I was running his version and Warrior face was a bad match up overall.
I tried to remove a couple of thing to insert Ooze, with no effect (plus worse matchup against Druid and Priest).
I tried then to remove Sylvanas and Ragnaros for double Argus. Seems to improve the matchup, it packs quite a surprise with Brann and help against control (providing taunt to your big golems can be game winning). But for this version I tend to lose to Druid unless I have a fast start.
why not try rat instead of argus? argus is a bit slow for this meta i think where even vs druids matches are decided by t9. plus, pulling something like an early fandral, a behemoth, an aya without the battlecry can wreck druids, while pulling something like leroy or the buffing pirate or one of their gadzillion charges may help you deal with it before they go face with it. it also can be a pretty big deal vs dragon priest.
only make sure to have some sort of appropriate removal on hand to follow up.
Try this list and tell me what you think, it was an easy winstreak for me, destroys Jade druid, blows a hole in Dragon priest's chest and has even match-ups against Mid-range shammans, plus can hold its ground against slower decks like control Warrior thanks to golem cards being annoyingly sticky. and it can also get tempo against pirate Warrior, the only bad match-ups are against hunters which are heavily unfavored, and tempo mage which are slightly unfavored.
i cutted all the slow things that do nothing by themselves like Shadowcaster or Brann and play it as a tempo deck.
edit: sorry for not posting it on hearthpwn, it was just way easier to screenshot it xD.
What rank have you been playing at? Just curious, but I like the look of the list.

How is N'zoth against kazakus? They can just pick the Polymorph potion, and your board is rekt.

"Jade Rogue is so baaad because I beat it with my pirate warrior! Looooll" Give me a break.
I agree it is strong. It completely eats the kabal decks, midrange shaman, jade druid, dragon priest etc. It is so draw dependent though because you epty your hand so fast and if they can regain board it is hard to win back. Of course losing to aggro is a thing because the strongest aggro classes in the game (warrior and shaman) also have the best healing and defensive options.. while rogue has none because class identity LUL...balance!
Yea I am having a good time with this deck. Im at rank ~15 and games are fun. I did not expect this deck to so good. Zoth is just a great card, because clearing the board spawns a ton of heavy golems :)
But is there a reason to play jade rogue? Except just for kicks.
Doesn't normal miracle do everything that deck does better? It's strong versus priest, strong versus renolock, strong versus druid, and probably a fair bit better (though very weak) to the fashionable aggro decks (shammy, warrior).

Generally I think people diss Jade Rogue too much, as it's a faster N'Zoth Rogue with a lot of potential. Difficult (I'm still struggling at low ranks, but I'm messing around with different stuff, so I don't bother atm, plus I don't have much time to game), but can be great when we manage to hit a decent decklist.
I think one the biggest difficulties on building a decent decklist, because decks like jade druid feel a lot more one dimensional on the build, but rogue has a lot of different directions it can go.. you can build a tempo jade, a miracle jade, a n'zoth jade, and even on each sub-archetype there is no clear way on how to build it.. I am having a good success whith the jade rogues I am playing, but I am still not sure what is the strongest direction to go with jade rogue..

If not this cursed spam of pirate decks killing you in turn 5 N'Zoth jade rogue will be tier 1.
@the MajinV: the winstreak was from 20 to 13, i'm pretty sure it could've been farther but i got bored and started messing around with other decks, i have a really low attention span.
@itforwait: you are screwed against kazakus if they get the sheep effect and save it for a N'zoth but there's a lot more to it than you might thing, first the keyword is IF, kazakus is random in nature and they might not even get the sheep effect, in those games, this deck is the agressor and playing a more smorc-based plan is easily feasible against any non-priest reno decks and against jade druid, things like playing on curve raptor without copying anything just to apply more pressure are not out of the question in those match-ups, although i tend to be more conservative with raptor against the kabal, against druid, particularly Jade druid i'll often play tempo raptors, and often you'll win before Reno. And if the Kabal classes get AoE instead of the sheep, your golems my be way too much to handle for them at that point.
@urungulu, normally i use fan of knives as card draw if i feel i won't be using it as AoE in a particular match, otherwise i use journey from below for that, it allows me to get better N'zoths agaisnt control and mid-range or adjust my curve against aggro, sometimes i'll also raptor Thalnoss or huckster; preferably thalnoss, originally i ran double Preparation+a copy of sprint but Sprint was often anti-tempo or dead in my hand, and to some extent huckster counts as card draw without deck thining, albeit a little bit random. as for running only 1 jade spirit, the thing is that i came to the conclusion that in order to generate bigger golems you needed a lot of slow and often unworkable shenanigans like using raptor on swarmer/aya or Shadowstep/in Spirit/aya, or using Shadowcaster in any of your Jade creatures, so i needed like an extra reliable generator that didn't need to be comboed, but two spirits were too slow, i'm really comfortable with this deck though and i wouldn't know what to cut for card draw. the other reason for running double journey is that i like having a 1 mana card to trigger combo, since the deck really wants to trigger the combos of all the combo cards.
It's definitely clear to me that Jade Rogue is the best of the three. Druid and Shaman have AOE and heals, but Rogue is much faster at pumping out golems, which seems to trump any AOE and heals throughout the course of the game. Throw in N'Zoth for late game and you're now even better against control and midrange. It's already pretty fair against aggro because Rogue can (finally) match their speed at minion output. If you can't rush them quick enough, you die to lack of heals pure and simple, so that's the downside. Still the most well suited class to run the golem style imo, regardless of lack of heals/taunts. I'm actually very favored against Pirate Warrior with my list, I'll have to upload it soon and change the outdated deck in my sig.

i wouldn't take Kripp as the bastion of constructed skill tho.......he's far far faaar faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar away from that.
you can listen to all of his arena advice because he's really good in Arena but for constructed there are a handful of way better players than him.
