priest meta mean every game will become 20 min. and decide by fatigue and who have bigger wallet
I don't think fatigue matches end depending on the cost of your deck
oh no cost does not matter. all you need is Justicar Trueheart, 2xShield Slam, 2xBrawl, Elise Starseeker (2800 gold) , 1x Gorehowl, 2x Revenge (2800 gold) and other filler cards. Brann version also requires a 3 drop available in the last wing of Kara. Cost of the deck does not matter at all :]
I like fast games focused on minion combat more, it's better for climbing. But it's what not going to happen with Priest ultra-Control meta. I only hope combo decks will exist so I have not play stupid Priest by myself. I like to deal damage to face, not receive, reactive classes are not for me.
Even if priest gets overpowered you are still not going to encounter it very often, since using priest to climb ladder was never a good idea to begin with until you reach rank 5 or so. So, chill.
Priest could be really strong. If it's the control archetype is not such a big problem because most people feel like is a very difficult archetype to play, also if it's not. We could have some little issues if the strongest archetype will be Dragon Priest that is way more curvish than the control version.
Well since I ranked legend with sham death rattle post naxx and have always love priest this could just be a beautiful transition patch for me.
I'm glad to hear there are those who have resisted shaman from day 1 and never enjoyed all the classes and deck types this game has to offer. Maybe the meta isn't one dimensional so much as you?
Entomb will be gone next year, and priest won't have that much spot removal -- just area of effect for days.
At least Priest will be strong against minion-flooded decks by then. And to replace Entomb, I hope Blizz wont print another similar spell card, but instead, Blizz should give Priest an actual strong proactive minion for the opponent to deal with instead of just ignoring it....

ew... so you're the kind of person that blizzard constantly caters too.

No. Blizzard actually nerfed all my favorite decks: Handlock, Patron, Combodruid, Aggro Shaman. Blizzard only care about creating easy decks available for everyone to increase audience and profits. And what deck could be easily then Control Priest, especially when best aggro deck get nerfed?
Even if Priest becomes a tier 1 deck in the new meta it will always be easily countered by combo decks like malygos rouge and druid since it has really terrible burst potential. As long as the strongest deck has decent counters, I'm happy.
I don't get all the crying either. One great 3-drop and a ton of situational cards that need something else to be combined with. Strong? Yes. Broken, not by a long shot. Druid got some insane cards, too, and those scare me much more.
It is scary priest play a 5/6 minion in turn 5, get what he need for later in your deck and in turn 6 wipe your board better than a Flamestrike do and give 5 in your face or destroy your wyrm and sorcerer aprendice with 1 card costing only one mana.
Yes, it is not too soon to see priest received shaman treatment in this expansion already, the only question remain is, the other classes will receive the same treatment for balance? I hope so but Blizzard have your history to pump few classes in the Tier 1 and sink the majority in trash tier.
I highly doubt it will be broken. But if it is, yay! Control meta! :D
Control meta sounds better in theory than it is in real life! For a brief moment, there was one, before standard was introduced, but after WotoG. This was how it was:
-Heropower-pass the first 4 turns.
-Most games take 15+ minutes.
-Astral Druid is the deck to beat, and is a coin-flip deck.
-Drawing cards is often a disadvantage because of fatigue.
-You can't play minions, because they will be used against you or the answers are too effective.
-Lots of stupidly greedy decks, playing one fatty after the other, hoping the opponent runs out of answers.

"Priest is broken! Nerf priest NOW! Cancer deck incoming!!!" You people know we have seen only 31/132 cards right?
Once again, some people judge way too early
i just hope that Paladin gets some good cards.

Well, it is about time to a control class become broken...
In this thread people are complaining that Priest may not be in the worst 4 classes for Ranked and Arena for the past 2 years?
This is a new and exciting concept. Whining about priest without facts is not trolling at all.

Not sure if hyped yet.
