People knock this card... but getting it off of Journey Below has actually won me the game a few times - that I actually started running 1 copy of this. If it keeps winning me games, I will run 2.

You can also copy the effect with Unearthed Raptor, which means your weapon can go from a 1/1 to a 5/1 quite quickly - just the perfect time to close out a game. Imagine you're just applying a lot of pressure, damage and are out-tempoing your opponent. Then you got like a 3/4 and 4/4 on the board that give you the +2 attack on your weapon. Your opponent is at less than 10 health. What are they to do? Like seriously, they are screwed whether they kill the minions or not. It's like free deadly poisons.

is this the reason they needed to remove bladefury? rogue is so dead in this expansion

oil-like decks yes. given the overall quality of the rogue cards this expansion, it is hardly obvious the class as a whole will be dead

Insane with Assassin's Blade

This with the Brann->Unearthed Raptor->Shadowstep combo Kreygasm

After the necessary Thaurissan reductions, equip a weapon or hero power, play the pirate and conceal it, then do the full combo as you would with Leper Gnome. Instead of the hilarious OTK of a bunch of 2 damage pings, you get the satisfaction of smashing a massive weapon into the enemy face. A new challenge for Rushin!

If you don't know this combo:

Play Brann
Raptor 1 copies 2 damage twice: 4
Raptor 2 copies 4 twice: 8
Raptor 3 (shadowstep 1st raptor) copies 8 twice: 16
Raptor 4 (shadowstep 2nd raptor) copies 16 twice: 32
Prep eviscerate the last raptor. Trade in the original pirate for added BM if possible. Adding in base attack of 1 and that, this would be a 35 attack weapon. If you don't want to try pulling this off at least once, I don't even know why you play Hearthstone.
