Deck Spotlight: Let's Play Renolock
Camfourek brings us a Renolock deck today which may not be the most popular deck lately, but can still hold its own on the ladder. The deck excels against Control matches and can even take out those disgusting numbers of Midrange Shamans.
- Draw - Use that hero power early on to gain card advantage over your opponent. Much like Handlock, you're going to have a heavy hand most of the time!
- Reno Jackson- The Psychological Warfare card. You don't have any duplicates so Reno can be dropped whenever you need to get back up to full life. It doesn't give you an instant win, but it can tip the tides against Aggro and even Midrange opponents.
Renolock definitely isn't a cheap deck to play. with this particular version costing 15240 dust and using cards from The League of Explorers, Blackrock Mountain, and Karazhan adventures. Check out the deck below and don't miss the full guide!

Thijs' Renolock
Or if you'd like something a little different than the deck + guide that we've got on top, Thijs recently took Renolock from Rank 6 to Rank 2! This deck relies more on combos like Leeroy + Power Overwhelming which means you have to make it to the late game.
This deck's differences are:
- Soulfire over Void Terror which can help control the board more.
- Leeroy Jenkins over Cairne Bloodhoof for end of game, face smashing good times.
- Faceless Manipulator over Big Game Hunter which gives up late game removal for cloning fun stuff like Leeroy, Ragnaros, or Sylvanas.
- Sen'jin Shieldmasta over Barnes which helps curbs aggro. Barnes is a bit of a toss-up anyway due to the RNG nature of the card.
- More healing through Earthen Ring Farseer and Refreshment Vendor. (You end up losing Abusive Sergeant which helps with trades and Youthful Brewmaster which in theory can give you two Renos)

Thijs Renolock 23-7
A video of the Thijs deck where he went from Rank 6 to Rank 2 earlier in the season. A great video to watch to learn more about Renolock!
Only two variants? Does anyone play other lists? I love Renolock and played it quite a bit before Standard.
ATM I play N'Zoth, the Corruptor list in standard and Demon Reno (with Mal'Ganis ) list in wild. Might not be Tier 1, but sure is a lot of fun.
I'd love to do some climbing with Reno, but I feel I'd have to switch to less greedy list. Still not sure about crafting Faceless Manipulator . Don't really see much use for this card in other decks (aggro rogue?). Some decks use Alexstrasza and I feel this would be a better craft. Thoughts?
Vlps made a dragon nzoth list http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/652735-dragon-renolock . This guy was the renolock master before standard.
I was playing reno+c'thunlock back in a days (you can find deckk in my profile), but it was pretty unstable =[
Is there anyway I can replace Doomsayer with something else?
Renolock is one of my all time favorite decks and I really miss the wild version of it, it was my main ;-;
damn, same here. It carried me to legend for the first time, that's the week when Reno just came out from wing 1 LOE and the Arcane Golem was still meant for OTK-ing
Edit : Why downvote my comment dear Face Hunter players ?
Wow, nice; I only got to about rank 10 with it :\
I'd rather eat fried chicken :^)
Why is an abusive sergeaent in the first deck? What the hell? Just add N'Zoth instead and you can remove ancient brewmaster for a 4 mana 2/3 taunt deathrattle summon 2/2!
Reno lock performs a bit better in Wild due to sludge Belcher, antique healbot,
Which can stall into late game before dropping N'Zoth
