I would add Magma Rager and Silverback Patriarch to make it 6 win conditions.

Horkinger posted a message on Do you think Hearthstone should have a chat option?Posted in: General DiscussionSo you don't like to accept friend requests because many of these people spam insults but you would like that they can do it during the game? Is it just me or does that sound weird to someone else as well?

JonnySniper243 posted a message on The Pepper Thread - Share your good vibes!Posted in: General DiscussionQuote from ArngrimUndying >>Playing Deathrattle Rogue against Elemental Mage. Some lucky breaks push the game to the end of the deck, but they already got up Frost Lich Jaina so I know it's a lost cause but whatever let's play it out. They play Sindragosa and hero power the frozen champions while i'm fighting them off. At this point I have 1 card in my hand - Assassinate - and draw my last before fatigue - Violet Haze. Play Haze and get Plated Beetle and...Mecha'thun. Toss the beetle out to get killed even though there's no way to make this work, right? Not unless the Mage plays one of the legendaries they got off Frozen Champions...and it just happens to be Duskfallen Aviana. So next turn play the 0-cost Mecha'thun, Assassinate it, and snatch sweet victory from the frozen jaws of defeat all while the mage is spamming "Wow" over and over. Because yeah that earns it.
Doesnt Assassinate say, destroy an ENEMY minion? So how could you destroy your Mechathun? Am I not thinking straight? Just curious.

Thread rule proposal: if the current challenge remains unfulfilled after 7+ days, the next challenge posted by anyone becomes the current challenge.

If you just start right away with telling the mistakes some people may be offended.

Maybe he just had a w&l quest and you've kept losing?

1. The more deathrattle cards you put in, the harder it becomes to hit Kobold Illusionist with Necrium Blade. I'd consider getting rid of them all (and spellstone as well).
2. Why Jade Shuriken? Razorpetal Volley is 2 spells for the same total cost, so it doubles your Malygos spell damage on that.
3. Why no Backstabs? 0 mana kill your Kobold Illusionist for one more Malygos is priceless.
4. Why no Valeera the Hollow? It effeciently gives you one extra spell and also helps you survive until your combo is ready.
5. Why wild? I see only 2 cards from wild, and none of them is worth playing here.
UPD: And also, why Mossy Horror? Still afraid of Giggling Inventor?

Doppelgangster
A card with some minor unexpected and unexplained behaviour (in this case, unlike Saronite Chain Gang, it actually summons another two minions with different art and voice line, but same stats and text)

Too bad it hits a minion I cast a Nightmare on during my previous turn.

Seen this deck on ladder couple of times, and it seems to always get Auchenai Soulpriest and Zilliax resurrected together and suffer extra 6-9 damage to face. Are both of those cards good enough to have that strong anti-synergy?

Just had a hilarious game with control warrior against kingsbane rogue. We reached the common point in this matchup when he has an empty deck refilled by 1 each turn, dk and 14/5 weapon with lifesteal, and I've run out of big stuff. Should I concede? Nah. My Stonehill Defender says "DORMAMU I'VE CAME TO BARGAIN" and gets smashed. Then another Stonehill Defender appears, created by previous one and also gets smashed. In a meantime, I play Marin the Fox and get Zarog's Crown from it. Dead Man's Hand into another Stonehill Defender and Zilliax, few more turns of DORMAMU, and finally 4 King Moshs from 2 copies of Zarog's Crown. He had no answer because he spent both his Vanishes and Blade Flurrys. Feels so damn good.

As any other hearthstone player, sometimes I see suboptimal plays from my opponent. Sometimes it's somethisg obvious to both me and my opponent, like playing Fungalmancer on the rightmost spot, or playing Soulfire before Leeroy Jenkins, but sometimes it's not that easy to notice. I want to talk about 2nd case.
For example, today I played against midrange shaman. He played Thrall, Deathseer on turn 5 and got Howlfiend, which was pretty bad luck, and I managed to discard couple of spells and Corridor Creeper. Later in the game he had Cruel Dinomancer on board and had an opportunity to trade it into my minion and summon his creeper back, but instead he decided to evolve it by hero power. In the same game he got a Radiant Elemental out of Earthen Might and just dropped it on board, regardless of 2nd Unstable Evolution he certainly had in his deck.
Another example: I played mecha'thun priest against togwaggle druid, and he got my last 5 cards by azalina, but had no idea how to run this combo and let me draw his whole deck and run this combo by myself.
Another example: I played control shaman against kingsbane rogue, and he died to fatigue because he had no idea how to escape fatigue by mirror reflection into Kingsbane.
After all of those matches I wanted to add my opponent and tell them their mistakes, so they won't make them again. But then I thought this could make them even more angry for their loss. So I want to ask other players how they would react on non-offencive pointing out of hardly noticeble misplays of them.

but then you got to realize players are not idiots and will only run a single copy of every card in a Reno Jackson deck all of a sudden this card becomes a 30hp heal instead of vanilla 4/6 minion for 6.
but then you got to realize players are not idiots and will only run odd cost cards in a Baku the Mooneater deck all of a sudden you get better hero power.
seriously, you think blizzard did not expect players to build their decks around that card?

Odd warrior is good against few decks like odd rogue and zoo warlock, but it has it's weaknesses. There's only 4 aoe removals in that deck (Dyn-o-matic is not an aoe), so if you're able to spam the board 5 times you've won that game. There's also very little amount of late game finishers: odd warrior can't afford traditional big guys like Geosculptor Yip, Rotface, The Lich King and even Grommash Hellscream, so he'd try to finish the game by Baku the Mooneater or Direhorn Matriarch (along with whatever he pulls from Omega Assembly and Delivery Drone, but there's no much of a big threats there too). I've played various decks in TBP, and from my experience odd warrior loses almost every game against control warrior with Dead Man's Hand, it loses to Mecha'thun priest unless incredibly lucky draw order, it loses to resurrect priest as well, it loses to Shudderwock shaman, it has pertty tough matchup against token druid (the Strongshell Scavenger one), the only deck with which I constantly losing to odd warrior is Aluneth mage.

How good Rotface is with no dk and only one Warpath? Won't it be better to use Geosculptor Yip instead?
