ArcyroX posted a message on Most Badass Card Art for Each Class in The Boomsday ProjectPosted in: NewsFor me, these are the best golden card animations for each class:
Druid: Juicy Psychmelon
Hunter: Cybertech Chip that injection animation tho!
Mage: Cosmic Anomaly
Paladin: Autodefense Matrix
Priest: Zerek, Master Cloner
Rogue: Pogo-Hopper I mean come on, it actually bounces
Shaman: Storm Chaser
Warlock: Demonic Project
Warrior: Rocket Boots
Neutral: Harbinger Celestia ah, I wish she wasn't such a bad card, I would craft her golden if she was a great legendary like lich king.
and here are some honorable mentions:
Floop's Glorious Gloop, Bomb Toss, Luna's Pocket Galaxy, Electra Stormsurge, Voltaic Burst, Beakered Lightning, The Soularium, Mecha'thun, Whizbang the Wonderful, Star Aligner, E.M.P. Operative, Spark Drill, Galvanizer, Spark Engine, Cloakscale Chemist, Upgradeable Framebot

TheWD987 posted a message on Most Badass Card Art for Each Class in The Boomsday ProjectPosted in: NewsYou’re telling me they picked SOUL INFUSION and CRAZED CHEMIST?! What looks cool is literally a matter of personal opinion, but I find Crazed Chemist’s art super off-putting, like it just doesn’t fit the style. AT ALL. I would have gone for Myra or Necrium Vial over that card. Personally, Soularium is WAY more badass than Soul Infusion.

MProdigy posted a message on Boomsday Nerfs PropsitionsPosted in: Card DiscussionIf they nerf rogue quest a third time it’s fucking bullshit. People need to chill out.
Also, many of these nerds are way too insane. Most are fine as is. I hope they don’t need anything tbh.

RichardSRocha posted a message on The pinnacle of stupidityPosted in: General DiscussionAs we all know, Casual mode has been filled with meta decks, mostly aggro, which is annoying for those who wants to play without stressing on ranked mode, or just to try new things or meme decks. Well, I already accepted this reality and now I try the most to not let this ruin my fun.
But, sometimes, people crosses the line of stupidity, and I think this is very well represented in this picture:
A guy who has 500+ victories with Warlock in Ranked and even have hit Legend, playing on Casual the most successful deck in the current meta. A deck any bot can pilot. An archetype that exists since the beggining of this game, so don't tell he was practicing.
And, what is worse, the guy ropes me turn after turn.
Fortunately, his stupidity was punished, and I managed to win this game. And it felt so good.

PIRATES RIDING PARROTS
GRAND TOURNAMENTSDAY PROJECT expansion CONFIRMED

since the beginning of the game, the biggest thing i've wanted is the ability to put more than 30 cards in a deck while deck-building. the deck would not be playable until pared down to 30, just as when it contains less than 30, but it is absolutely maddening and mind-boggling that this functionality didn't exist AT LAUNCH, much less FOUR YEARS LATER. i should be able to inlcude as many potential inclusions as i like, and then cut down while looking at them in a list of all the possibilities rather than having to flip through hundreds of pages of collection displayed 8 - or as few as FOUR if everything on a page also has golden counterpart - cards at a time (and that brings up a second long-overdue QoL change - collection manager display to show more cards, at the VERY LEAST integrating golden and non-golden into one facing so that the MINIMUM number of cards you see at once is 8) to consider final cuts/additions. i honestly feel that a large percentage of the player base would get more into deckbuilding (and we might even see a bit of a decrease in netdecking!) if the interface wasn't so cumbersome and dissuading of considering multiple options.

I give Sen'jin Shieldmasta the slightest nod over Chillwind Yeti. I'd guess both were probably pretty equally played (Yeti may have had a slight edge very early in Hearthstone's lifespan, but i think Sen'jin was close and more consistently played for longer), and while "Yeti" is the shorthand for a vanilla minion's stats in players' minds, I think Sen'jin is more recognizable and is probably even more widely known by his nickname, Tazdingo, for his voiceline than the actual card name, which I think speaks to its greater standing in the Hearthstone consciousness

Druid: I can accept Landscaping, though I think its close between that and Floop's Glorious Gloop (esp golden)
Hunter: Flark's Boom-Zooka kinda wins by default. hunter card art is...not great...in this set
Mage: definitely right on Cosmic Anomaly, though Luna's Pocket Galaxy deserves special mention
Paladin: Autodefense Matrix, yup
Priest: Zerek, Master Cloner, yup
Rogue: uh...what are you smoking? Crazed Chemist is the absolute worst card art in the set. I'd probably go Pogo-Hopper here.
Shaman: Storm Chaser is like an elemental luchador, i think that automatically makes it the best card art in the set. I quite like Thunderhead and Menacing Nimbus as well, though
Warlock: no. Demonic Project probably gets the nod here, though like hunter, its a bit by default
Warrior: the 3rd bad pick after rogue and warlock. I vote for Rocket Boots here. that goblin looks so happy!
Neutral: Harbinger Celestia is a more bad-ass Cosmic Anomaly, she has to take this, but Coppertail Imposter is reeeeeally close for me

We don't have to go overboard and say either that the card is amazingly op or that it is unplayable trash. It's clear that it's playable and that it's actually pretty decent, and that in saying that, every member of the community was completely 100% wrong because I'm pretty sure we all thought it would see no play. And that's pretty neat, because it's a super cool card!

I think you mean ben brode looks like a bargain bin Regis killbin. Brode could only dream of having such a luxurious face of hair

i like the cardback, but i only ever use it when i'm actually in legend, which isn't often since i never really grind for it these days. but i'd be happy to see it every so often with the random cardback option that should have been available 2 or 3 years ago (c'mon blizz...)

Nothing. As has happened with every effing expansion, a horribly sub-standard pack opening has soured me on the game so much that I've played like 2 games of constructed in the past 3 days and only enough brawl to get my pack.
