I've tried him in a mage deck to synergize with antonidas, as well as a warlock demon deck. I wouldn't call either remarkably successful though. but just because he's not particularly useful on a high level doesn't mean he's a bad card necessarily

interestingly, this seems to be the 1st class card we can be pretty certain about which wing it will come from (arachnid). I suppose maybe the warrior one leans military, and perhaps druid in plague, but those seems slightly less certain anyway.

he also specifically mentioned Gothik, so that's a confirmed boss. he named another later I think, but I don't know anything about Warcraft/WoW, and I don't see any in the potential list that sound like what I heard him say, so not sure what it was

What baffles me is why hunter (of all types but mostly face aggro) gets so much flak but everyone just accepts that 14 dmg from a druid or more on turn 9 is normal and you move on, just seems odd that they both involve drawing the correct cards, can be stopped by taunts but one is hated and the other is just ''part of the game''.
Just for the record the only decks I hate playing against are ones that slow the game down to a crawl, eg control priest (not midrange) and freeze mage. That is mostly because I enjoy playing the game xD
druids are getting the FoN hate, too, just not that much. hunters can have ridiculous openings where you are at 15 or less HP by t3 and thats really hard to come back from.
pewrsonally, I just cant stand the hunter playstyle for more than a couple of games, Id rather spend 20 minutes playing an epic ctrl vs ctrl matchup that goes to fatigue than go 3-3 with a hunter in the same time

I really love the concept I came up with. Would make for an interesting card, but I'm not sure how balanced it is. Seeing his low HP he dies to practially anything around turn 8. However, he comes free of charge as he gives you his cost back. Maybe I will reword it a bit, since this way you can innervate or Dragon Consort him out a turn early, making actually plus mana, but maybe that means even more fun with him.
What do you think?
Vaelastrasz the Corrupt
Vaelastrasz challenged Nefarius, to end his destructive reign only to succumb to him in battle. Left with only 30% HP (hence the 3 HP), before losing his mind completely, he buffs the players with Essence of the Red, which lasts for 3 minutes and restores 500 Mana per second to mana users, energy to energy users etc. (Basically infinite mana). A DPS race would ensue and one of the best boss fights of World of Warcraft would start.
His quote upon encountering him:
"Too late...friends. Nefarius' corruption has taken hold. I cannot...control myself. I beg you Mortals, flee! Flee before I lose all sense of control. The Black Fire rages within my heart. I must release it! FLAME! DEATH! DESTRUCTION! COWER MORTALS BEFORE THE WRATH OF LORD....NO! I MUST FIGHT THIS! ALEXSTRASZA, HELP ME! I MUST FIGHT!" Dragon Consort might be beneficial to Deathwing because you now can drop a 2 mana card before unleashing him, but that would be such a waste. Cheating out a Ysera is what you would want instead.
Anyway, no one can tell if he will be top tier or not. Fact is that you will never, ever want to throw away more than one card with Deathwing, similar to Doomguard. He is one of the last 4-5 cards you play, your insurance when everything else failed. Even today he works amazingly well for that purpose, but is simply too much of a liability if he ends up in your opening hand. Don't see him as a 10 mana card, but a "my last 2-3 plays" card.
Even then, the following must happen for him to be playable on a competitive level:
- The meta slowed down considerably
- Dragon decks are viable
- Other Dragons don't outclass him. His effect is unique, but there might be no room for him due to other cards being more valuable.

First of all, did you use google translator to make this?
I don't think Control Hunter will see any popularity and i don't really see how the BRM additions should even encourage that kind of deck. Quick Shot is decent in a deck that can manage to get rid of it's hand fairly quickly and that is usually some kind of aggro deck rather than control.
Not even Midrange Hunter will have an easy time making use of that card since the deck usually has some key components you want to hold on to instead of dumping it into play and Emperor Thaurissan pretty much promotes the exact opposite playstyle of Quick Shot since the card gets significantly better the more cards are in your hand.
Why are you always rude to people straight off the bat? Are you a lonely sad little person? I get that feeling a lot when I read one of your 1,800 posts...

I really think FoN (even just 1) is worth the dust. If you crafted one FoN and one Ancient of Lore I think it would be a better move than two Lores. That way if you do eventually get one from a pack you have a full set with no waste and having one of each would be better than none of each or two of only one. You don't have to go combo druid but I still think FoN is almost the only card without equal in Druid (and Cenarius). You can add healbots for life gain and other cards for card draw but nothing does what FoN does.

If you didn't play WoW at this time, here you go: http://www.wowwiki.com/Corrupted_Blood
One of the greatest moments to think back in WoW history.
Essentially it's a delayed board clear. Corrupted Blood will spread on his side of the board until all minions are dead or it is silenced. The opponent is forced to trade all his minions spam the board with lowcost minions or try to go face. Quite interessting situation I think. ;-)
Feedback appreciated. :-)
I redesigned the card a little after a suggestion in this thread. Original card here.
