Both are dirty, but I'm going for Aggro, all the way. It's so freaking frustrating to sit down and watch how your opponent decimate your hero's life by going face with an endless board (because no matter how many times you clear them, they always fill up again and again). At least against OTK your opponent has to set up a strategy and make a careful use of cards, it's not a brainless fill-the-board game.

Kalkans posted a message on What's worse? Aggro or OTK?Posted in: General DiscussionAggro for sure. They only seek their "stars" but they do not realize that this is a game for people to have fun. Whenever I play tess, kingsbane rogue i always end up facing them. Also they appear on casual too.

Infirc posted a message on What's worse? Aggro or OTK?Posted in: General DiscussionAgggro feels worse to me, i dont mind OTk they mind their own businesses, interact with my minions on board and let me play my cards and get my fun combos and card interactions, then i either whiff my stufff and they either kill me or they just die, but they're polite enough to let me play my cards before they kill me, aggro on the other hand will never let me play my cards because their whole game plan centers around killing me before i even get the chance to play with my cards, and that's just super rude.
As a clearer example back in kharazan whenever i played a Summoning Stone deck, if i played against a combo deck i'd be able to play the stone and get value from it, i'd have fun with my stone and then win or lose the game but if i was playing against aggro though i would die before being able to play the stone and i would feel so cheated out of my interaction and card combos.
edit: but if i'm dead honest nowadays the only decks that make me feel like that right now are Odd rogue (both wild and standard) and Wild even shamman, not even odd paladin makes me feel like i dont have time to play my cards, because there are neough defensive utilites rn, wereas before MSG got released with a different philosophy to expansions before its time, Board clears and good taunts were basically an urban legend. -

Aggro just vomit their hands brainlessly and go face, aggro requires virtually no skill apart from crucial trades (which is rarely) at least with OTK you get a chance to kill them before they assemble their combo.

Garlicnerd posted a message on Rastakhan's Rumble - Card Reveals and Details for Hearthstone's Tenth ExpansionPosted in: GuidesWe've seen one of the champions so far: Hex Lord Malacrass, and interestingly his description is very specific to what his card does.
Mage - Malacrass, Champion of Jan'alai's Dragonhawks
- The fury of Jan’alai the Dragonhawk loa fuels Malacrass’s fire on the Rumble field. Despite a flair for the dramatic, Malacrass is a clever opponent. He’ll give Mages who are willing to plan ahead access to useful resources.
Malacrass gives you cards in the late game based on a decision you make early on. This might mean all of the descriptions describe their card's effects:
- Druid - Wardruid Loti, Champion of Gonk's Raptor
- Loti keeps her distance from the other Rumble competitors, preferring the company of her dinosaur loa Gonk and other scaled companions. Druids will discover that she’s a master of shapeshifting and claw-to-hand combat.
- This probably means Loti is a transforming Choose-One card
- Hunter - Zul'jin, Champion of Halazzi's Lynxs
- Warlord Zul’jin is reckless, bitter, and has a chip on his shoulder that’s even bigger than his blade. He’s is more than willing to unleash the primal power of Halazzi the Lynx loa upon his competitors, but he’s got a special knack for the mystical side of the hunt.
- This might mean Zul'jin has some connection to spells. This is the least clear of the descriptions I think.
- Paladin - High Priest Thekal, Champion of Shirvallah's Tigers
- This master fighter is a fan favorite! Wielding the Light as a weapon, he can use his healing energy in ways Paladins haven't seen before. Confident to a fault, Thekal moves almost as quickly as he talks, dancing around his opponents for the crowd.
- This seems to suggest Thekal has some kind of unique healing effect or a unique healing synergy. This might also suggest that the effect is a Battlecry in reference to Crowd Favorite.
- Priest - Princess Talanji, Champion of Bwonsamdi's Zombies
- As princess of the Zandalari Empire, Rastakhan’s own daughter calls the loa of the dead, Bwonsamdi, her companion. Talanji will aid Priests in turning their foes’ own might against them if forced to fight.
- This seems to suggest some kind of mind control or maybe something that gives you copies of minions that your opponent has lost.
- Shaman - Zentimo, Champion of Krag'wa's Frogs
- The crowd finds this witch doctor mysterious, quiet, and more than a little unsettling. He’s content to let his giant frog loa, Krag’wa, do the fighting while he helps Shamans master channeling elemental magic.
- I take it back. This is the least descriptive.
- Rogue - Captain Hooktusk, Champion of Gral's Sharks
- This charming and flashy pirate has come ashore to claim her share of glory in the Rumble, and she’ll lie, cheat, and steal to get it! Rogues who choose Captain Hooktusk as their champion will find that she rarely goes anywhere without her loyal crew.
- We already know Hooktusk is a pirate but this seems to suggest that her effect might summon members of her crew.
- Warlock - High Priestess Jeklik, Champion of Hir'eek's Bats
- The shrieking, shadow-skulking aspirant of the bat loa Hir’eek revels in the boos she gets from the crowd. Warlocks willing to make the right sacrifices will find Jeklik a useful champion who seems to be everywhere at once.
- This suggests a synergy with Spirit of the Bat and an effect similar to Hir'eek, the Bat which copies her??? It seems weird for both legendaries would have such similar effects.
- Warrior - War Master Voone, Champion of Akali's Rhinos.
- Voone finds kindship in the rhino loa Akali. He’s a simple troll—he loves loud drums, a roaring crowd, and a raucous after-party—but his former employment by the Black Dragonflight will give Warriors special insight into the ways of dragons.
- This one is self-explanatory.

Funkadillo posted a message on BlizzCon 2018 Opening Ceremony - Hearthstone Expansion AnnouncementPosted in: NewsBlizzard continuing to print neutral cards like Sharkfin Fan is so bad for arena. It has no effect on constructed, but the fact that the card is 100x better in rogue than any other class (and downright awful in any class with no weapons) makes it an unfair arena card.
This would be true even without the bucket system, but that makes it even worse because how bad it is in other classes will cause it to be in lower buckets for rogue too, despite it being a great card for them. This should just be a rogue class card. Rogue is already the best class in arena and it doesn't need more cards like this making the balance even worse.

my 4th copy of Captain Greenskin, which ties him with Princess Huhuran as my most opened legendary, and my 2nd golden Earthen Ring Farseer
2
you get the free legendary and spirits as soon as you log in after RR launches, so can't craft it first. which is another reason (really the main reason) i'm hesitating to go ahead and vote for the Tigers, as i might be tempted to craft it golden too.

I be speakin' for da trees, mon

It's probably the card Peter Whelan considers the cute card of the set though xD
6
But walk the plank can't go face SMOrc
3
i can't wait to see a togwaggle-soulflayer combo

theme song for this one is a real thumper. so much better than the lame crap sandwich theme from boomsday
8
YOU get a free hero and YOU get a free hero and YOU get a free hero! EVERYONE gets a free hero!!

i literally could not disagree any more. i had less than ZERO hype for boomsday, and the trailer for boomsday was the worst ever. this looks INFINITELY better and the trailer may be the best one yet for hearthstone (at the very least it holds its own with the top ones from the past)

Already more hyped for this than I ever was for lamesday project
