let's make bane of doom great again! with outland coming let's look at just how many more good demons (and low rolls) got added to the pool for this fun card
well priests here's your control card which will be seen in literally every priest deck for the next 2 years lol cause as it's already been said this is on the power level of psychic scream and dragonfire potion of old, being a single card that will bring priest back into the meta and on another note with what they said about it being hard to make generically powerful legendaries in the case of the primes or else they'll be used in every deck it makes me think that's not what they're going for which means they failed hilariously hard on 2/3rds of them the only ones not being auto includes for the next 2 years being warlock, shaman and paladin and the warlock and paladin ones are quite debatable
well then pardon me cause that felfire line does NOT do him justice either if that's the case cause i've done that line and really you get the idea of the foundations of the council of the black harvest with it but he does not feel like an important character when you fight him if anything he only seems like something slightly more than your typical warlock insert character
honestly everything i'm seeing will completely obliterate both of shaman's viable archetypes which yes i know people want to see them a hell of a lot less which i find totally fair, though i enjoy one or the other not both combined, personally what i think would be fair nerfs that would make the deck less played but not annihilate it would be nerfing the quest to be 8 battlecries, or nerfing the hero power to specify minion battlecries will be doubled so it's still good but it won't work on galakrond in particular (or hell both of those nerfs), dragons pack could honestly go to being 2 4/5's instead of 5/6's and still be really good, faceless corrupter should be nerfed to 6 mana or make it a 5/3 so the minions can't survive or maybe just the base card itself has rush, on the topic of rush, removing the rush from the galakrond stuff straight up would make it unplayable due to the face the reason it's good in the first place is it's ability to sacrifice tempo and make up for it with small removal just summoning minions would make it abysmal compared to the quest also likely corrupt elementalist will get hit for a 1 mana nerf or maybe the stats but that would be fair, and honestly i don't think dragonqueen needs a nerf due to bad luck albatross existing, if highlander decks become super meta then that will become the tech card of choice and it'll go down
And yet people were perfectly happy and fine with it a few years ago cause we got these between expansions, calm down kid most likely they're gonna keep the system of what they've done where adventure cards can be crafted but getting the adventure will give you copies without needing to spend dust, plus the adventure is something to do if you don't feel like playing regular hs
I don’t think I have sufficient words for how much I hate the fact this thing exists because yes I love dragon decks and yes I love control decks and want them to do better but just this is so bad for the health of the game... this is so stupidly busted this card will see play in literally every dragon deck that will exist until it gets nerfed into the 6-8 mana range and even then, but I think this will be more akin to Barnes rather than keleseth because if you land this it will basically instantly guarantee your win keleseth increased your chances but not to the same degree as Barnes in big priest, and here I was hoping they would with the amount of game bending mechanics as we’ve been getting with flik and valdris that we might finally get a card that let’s us add more cards to our deck of our choosing which would basically be a neat control only legendary but... this is just what were they thinking
Indeed but this is effectively 6 mana for a 5/5 and two 0/3 taunts that if not killed immediately sorta turn into a total of 6 mana 13/13 with rush if nothing else it saves you 6 health, I have a feeling this will be like doomsayer in a way, if they don’t get rid of it they lose some of their board and they might be too afraid to play anything that might die to the 4/4’s or waste removal on them
They just die that’s it, really though more of the way to look at this is you pay 6 mana for a 5/5 and 2 0/3 taunts if they don’t kill the taunts immediately they give you effectively a 6 mana 13/13 with rush, yes they still have to survive a turn but you either force them to play removal or this might work like a doomsayer and they won’t want to play anything that will die to the 4/4’s
Undeniably this card is absurd because of how easy it is to proc and that it can go face, if it could only hit minions it would still be insane but still, I may just be overly skeptical given I almost always don’t run optimized lists cause I find other cards more fun and I don’t want to be another net decker
Ok let me just point out everything wrong with your comment
A.) the lackey’s you get in shaman are random along with you would have to draw everything rather quickly AND get the quest done
B.) You’d need at least one mana crystal overloaded for this to trigger so that knocks you down to 9 mana in a turn and you would need to have another overload card for the second one of this
And C.) yes this is four cards for the damage however with the at least 2 overload cards you need it bumps it up to six and it is over generally at least 3 turns, assuming you have 2 overload cards and miraculously got a kobold lackey and have drawn all 4 of these damage cards
I understand you’re saying that the quest has quite a few really good options to deal face damage and overall really high power level which is true just don’t go around treating it like it’s some sorta otk/ttk this would take several turns even with it being roughly seven cards technically and I may not be up to date on the meta list for CtW shaman but certainly this alone won’t make it meta breaking
Well here we have some in set shenanigans for Waxadred at least that’s how I’ll use it but in general this is just super good because it’s a tutor AND a trigger, stats are roughly worth 3 mana so 1 mana for a specific draw and activation is incredible even if it requires a combo to activate
Not notice the comma or did you not take that into account? Cause it reads deal 2 damage however if you’re holding a dragon lifesteal deal 4 damage instead effectively, yes it’s wording is clunky compared to the other breath cards but remember this is also roughly translated it may look better later

let's make bane of doom great again! with outland coming let's look at just how many more good demons (and low rolls) got added to the pool for this fun card

midway/can't be mad with it (and the debatable rolls): Void Terror, Felstalker, Imprisoned Scrap Imp, Imprisoned Vilefiend, Darkglare, Chaos Gazer, Portal Keeper, Disguised Wanderer, Scavenging Shivarra, Wrathspike Brute, Mad Summoner, Sathrovarr, Frenzied Felwing, Imprisoned Satyr, Imprisoned Felmaw Lord Jaraxxus, Illidan Stormrage, Riftcleaver, Imprisoned Gan'arg, Imprisoned Homunculus (wild only midways/debatables: Void Crusher, Hooked Reaver, Voidcaller, Witchwood Piper, Imp Gang Boss, Unlicensed Apothecary, Void Ripper, Wrathguard, Vulgar Homunculus, Nethersoul Buster, Felsoul Inquisitor) total m's/d's: 31
the high rolls: Jumbo Imp, Pit Commander, Pit Lord, Fel Lord Betrug, Supreme Abyssal, Dread Infernal, Priestess of Fury, Enhanced Dreadlord, Aranasi Broodmother, Siegebreaker, Portal Overfiend, Nightshade Matron, Hulking Overfiend, Imprisoned Antaen, Imprisoned Observer, Felguard, Terrorguard Escapee (wild only high rolls: Mal'Ganis, Krul the Unshackled, Fearsome Doomguard, Abyssal Enforcer, Voidlord, Doomguard, Despicable Dreadlord, Lakkari Felhound, Prince Malchezaar, Floating Watcher) total highrolls: 27
in short you have over 2.5x the likelyhood of getting a mid/high roll over a low roll now, I for one am gonna welcome this card back with open arms

Don't get me wrong I adore this card but... why in the hell isn't this gul'dan instead of a third rate warlock that's in like a handful of lore pieces

My mistake i just noticed the single area in that art where the fire and rocks were that detailed it's the right hand

given this is NOT the same artwork as the teaser i still have some hopes supremus is elsewhere
