Doesn't seem that good.
What happens, if your opponent can destroy the eggs before your turn?
I imagine that would become the goal. Can't hatch if they get smushed first. Based on the wording, I don't think they work as traditional egg minions.

They just die that’s it, really though more of the way to look at this is you pay 6 mana for a 5/5 and 2 0/3 taunts if they don’t kill the taunts immediately they give you effectively a 6 mana 13/13 with rush, yes they still have to survive a turn but you either force them to play removal or this might work like a doomsayer and they won’t want to play anything that will die to the 4/4’s
