"playable" effectively means that the player has sufficient mana to play the "corrupted" card on the next turn--so in other words, this will *NEVER* corrupt anything your opponent cannot play around. This frequently targets "The Coin," (RNG-BLESS) most of the times this is played--it's pretty inconsequential. I stopped using it and I guess you could say I main warlock--I definitely like playing that class more than others for sure. I think this card is pretty blahsey and a close cousin to sucky.
I really wanted to like this but the way it works with RNG just makes it such a crapshoot and not good for competitive decks.
The most meaningful plays will likely come when the board is populated on both sides and there are multiple threats to your opponent so tactical plays are essential--this means late-game play is better-suited for this card.
This card has been known to ruin games and at worst, made the game progress as it would otherwise.
I've once seen a game where this minion is placed down, it targets Sap and the rogue then proceeds to use it on this exact minion. Why? For the love of god, why would anyne use it on this minion again?
I could remember it like it was yesterday, it happened on the 14th of April, 2020... and I was the one who was playing the rogue. The point is, don't forget to read card texts like I did. i may have lost my Sahket Sapper to a less than decent play but now that you know, you may concede faster.
In my experience, this is capable of being a great card. Using it in a Wild Zoo Lock, and it won me two games back to back (Against Big Druid and Rez Priest), they both conceded a few turns after I played Chaos Gazer.
You have a good stated Vanilla Base, 4/3. Then the effect will target a usable card in the opponents hand (One that they will be able to use next turn). Forcing them to either play something they might not want to on curve, force them to play a bad card or lose it, or destroy a low cost part of their Combo.
At the very worst, this is a 4/3 on Curve. At its best, you'll make your opponent rage quit. This might not fit into all Warlock decks, but when it can, its gonna be good.
I wanna use this card in Wild. Can I buy just the chapter 3 part just for this card?
Don't buy chapter 3. this card is in chapter 4.
Distrupts your opponent play, not bad body for 3 drop, could grant huge value. Card is really good. Think like this;
If you can hit Galakrond from your opponent hand and it's not invoked, has to play it instanly. Or if you hit any card very important for that match, you can force it to play immediatly. Or for bad situations for example you will hit a 4 drop and your opponent have to play something which costs 8 mana. Has to choose a play. Can't think this is the only card on board and hits the zephyrs LOL.
In wild it could be very interesting, you can play this on renolock imo, can hit the N'zoth or etc.
Interesting in this battlecry is the description "playable". It's something like Zephrys the Great ?
I think that it can't target cards that the player can't play the following turn (e.g. not enough mana, without valid target, etc)
Interesting it's a cool take on a discard mechanic and a nice tech card.
