I'm thinking it will work, by looking at how Barnabus the Stomper from Jungle Giants works with Guild Recruiter, Oaken Summons or Witchwood Piper to pull the now discounted minions from your deck. Academic Espionage puts the full value cards in your deck and simply reduces their cost to 1 (denoted by green print). Barnabus drops the full value cost of your minions to 0 (also denoted by green print) making them eligible for battlecries that tutor specific cards. Will have to wait and see, but if the mechanics are consistent, then AE should make for some fun matchups against Priest!

Some notable synergies that shouldn't be overlooked are Augmented Elekk and Witchwood Piper. Also, two of these on board should mean two cards get shuffled in. Might not make for a competitive deck without a lot of work, but I love the build-around potential of this card.

The powerhouse synergy/combos stick out, but alternatively, could lead to interesting other archetypes, considering you need a relatively empty hand to get big value out of it. Maybe tempo/midrange (even aggro?) style with proper use of Spirit of the Dead and this guy as a hand refill? I'm not saying it will work, since the spirit drops tempo being a non-presence on the board, but could be fun to experiment. Card draw/pressure is nothing to take lightly.

Odd card, conceptually and literally, but the shenanigan potential is real, obviously synergizing with Bwonsamdi, the Dead. Excited to see what comes of it!

I feel like Ticket Scalper could definitely see play. 5/3 on turn 4 would rarely trade efficiently, but this time, you could get card draw for that inefficient trade. Arcane Intellect is 3 mana for two cards, so this is like AI with a 5/3 Pirate for 1 extra mana, assuming it kills something with 4 or less health, and as a turn 4 play, that is very likely. Late game, not so much. Not meta defining, and you'd have to work with a deck that understands how to handle this potentially awkward tempo play, but all I'm saying is I wouldn't write it off.

Updated HS on my phone, got the prompts for the new cards and such, verifying the new patch went through, and I still have golden animations. It's a bug, they've addressed that they're working on it. Also, I have a Note 9, so I'm aware that newer phones work better than older phones, but dude, you need to get some chill or eat a Snickers or something.

I work IT, spending most of this week updating/imaging PC's for deployment, giving me a ton of downtime...of which I spent almost the entirety of it running HS in the background, tossing "Blessings to you" from Tyrande and then conceding (healing face w/coin when applicable) to help power anyone else through this nonsense, because nobody deserves to have to grind this RNG fiesta for a pack.

It's the worst, and it's something I can do to help. :D

Regis is fantastic! Great attitude and funny, and really understands the community, he really deserves all the attention he's been getting! 

Tbh, I am not really excited with this Mage Hero Power package, but i could see it fitting a Midrange Mage in the meta.

Regis was maybe a bit bland, but honestly he hasn't been given screen-breaking stuff to show, yet he was truly enjoying it and he transmitted it, and that's enough for a fine stream.

Hey guys, I'm currently trying to refine this Voraxx Quest Paladin I made, and I need some help.  I think that Quest Paladin is the most fun archetype to play, and I want to make this deck at least semi-competitive on ladder.  Here's what I have now:

KEEPS

• The Last Kaleidosaur - Obviously
• The Voraxx - This card is too much fun in Quest Paladin, and is really good with Blessing of Kings and Spikeridged Steed
• Spirit of the Tiger - Great token generator, really good with Sound the Bells!
• Lynessa Sunsorrow - Late game finisher, great when the opponent has used all removal on earlier threats

CUTS

• Rabble Bouncer - Filler card until I get more dust
• Violet Teacher - Decent token generator, but isn't impactful enough
• Drygulch Jailor - Average in the early game. It helps get tokens that I can buff cheaply but feels like an awful late-game draw

ADDS

• Immortal Prelate - Good early and late game card.  I feel it would provide more consistency to my deck
• Primalfin Champion - A better version of Drygulch Jailor, and synergizes with the quest

I want to hear your thoughts on how my deck could be improved to be semi-competitive.  Besides the cards listed in the "Keeps" section, the whole deck is up for changes.  The cards in the "Adds" section are going to be added once I get enough dust or I get them in a pack.

Pretty cool card.  Nice flavor for the class, seems like a pretty efficient clear but there is a bit of play around and the effect has a twist of RNG that makes it a bit more interesting than "deal x damage to the board".

Priest really needed something like this. 

You can still run direct damage, just make sure to play it after Zul'jin or when doing Lethal (or to survive in some cases, but if you had to do that you probably already lost)

Very nice card. I like the control you have over the spells, unlike Yogg. But I'm not sure about the random order/targeting. Will need to trim the deck a bit to make sure you cast what you want where you want. Very interesting deck building tool. Will be cool to see what comes from this. Definitely seems like a fit into Secret and possibly even Spell Hunter.
