It has taunt. That is about 1 mana already. It is perfectly vanilla statted.

Odeermagic posted a message on New Warlock Card - Aranasi BroodmotherPosted in: NewsTbh hearthstone team is doing a good job tuning down the power level of the cards they print.I don't know why so many people complain about this card being bad.Considering it has a base stat that worth 5 mana and synergy with the reshuffle theme.it is not that bad I'd say.

KujaInc posted a message on New Warlock Card - Aranasi BroodmotherPosted in: NewsQuote from Asrobourboulis >>This expansion brings way too much taunt. Maybe it's because a lot of viable, low cost ones are rotating out. Wild might become a taunt fiesta with decks like Even, Reno and maybe cube warlock getting a lot of love.
There is currently 1 neutral taunt minion.
Overwhelming. -

Esparanta posted a message on Reno (Anti-Big-Priest) DruidPosted in: Reno (Anti-Big-Priest) DruidCertainly. But, in this deck, I think I did my best. In fact, all classes can fight against Big Priest well if they use tech-cards against them.

FortyDust posted a message on People with OP decks who play in CasualPosted in: Standard FormatYour win rate in casual will always, always be close to 50 percent, no matter what you do.
So you can complain about seeing tryhard decks there, but that's not the real issue.
When you win enough to rise out of your comfort zone, you will be paired with players who are better than you, using decks that are slightly better than yours (or possibly players who are not better, using decks that are much better). That doesn't mean it's an automatic win for them, though, unless you just immediately concede.
You can either use it as an opportunity to improve and learn, or you can give up and slide back down the MMR to be paired with people who are easier to beat.
If you take the latter road too far, you're just beating up on newbies who are even worse off than yourself. Congratulations, you have become the thing you hate.
Honestly, it's best just to play the game and accept the occasional bad matchup. It will all even out eventually because the system was intentionally designed to even things out for you.

Nargacuga15 posted a message on Quick Survey: "Well Played" emote, how do you use it?Posted in: General DiscussionOverwhelmingly toxic. This is sad. It really sends a message about what the community is becoming when you have the kind of comments that immediately follow the post. The intention of the "Well Played" button is for two things...
1. To literally congratulate your opponent on the game, win or lose, for the competition/your appreciation of their game versus yours.
2. To highlight a specific play your opponent took in sequence during their turn that wow'd you for some unique interaction or high level interaction.
There is no other reason to drop that button, much less spam it. These are children that are appearing all over this post. Ignore them, you likely only play them once anyway. Just terrible that this game has basically no communication between opponents compared to other games, and yet posts like this show just how toxic the game is- even without a sophisticated communication system. Sad. Childish. Disappointing.

bickel posted a message on Quick Survey: "Well Played" emote, how do you use it?Posted in: General DiscussionI always say "Well played", but I especially mean it:
1. When I know they have lethal in hand (not on the board) and that I can't prevent it, and I say "Well played" before I end my turn and let them kill me.
2. When I know that I have lethal in hand (not on the board) and that they have just ended their turn without being able to prevent it.
3. When it's both, and I end my turn knowing that if they don't kill me in their next turn, I will kill then in my next. "Well played" means "This game is over, one way or another, and it was close. Can you win, if not I will?"

Totally cool to have an opinion, and Kripp admits he's decent but not fantastic in constructed, but regardless of how I ever feel about the guy, his Arena game is insanity. "Not even that good at that" is statistically false, he's a monster in Arena, having net a few number 1 spots for months of play.

A minor touch that would be nice is making it so that once you pull 2 of the same epic, you won't get a 3rd unless you have the whole set, like how they treat Legendaries. Super frustrating to be excited about an expansion only to pull 5 Gurubashi Offerings. Was it extra dust, sure, I guess, but not the same value as new epics to begin with, which would help with the often frustrating game economy, and my own excitement.

Empty board, myself at full HP, my opponent at 2, I dropped Ragnaros the Firelord...which Yogg'd an Unstable Evolution into the Rag to transform it to Majordomo Executus. Opponent Big Game Hunter'd my Majordomo which cast Tree of Life before killing it, healing him to full before transforming me into our favorite Firelord, then dropped a Plated Beetle which cast Pyroblast to my face...
It was so hilariously ironic that I wasn't even upset, the game clearly thought I was the insect.

Hot damn, first try! Great guide, and still relevant, thanks!

Anyone with photo editing skills could render this in 5 minutes on their break, I'm not too concerned about these guys "wasting resources" for this post. I thought it was fun, cute and harmless.

Over a year later, and this deck still works! Subbed a Sacrificial Pact for a Felfire Potion that I didn't have, which made for a clutch turn to kill a Voidwalker. Took about 5 tries, or more specifically, I won the first time he didn't drop Aberrations within the first 4 turns. Thanks!

Duskfallen Aviana slammed down, followed by a "Thanks" from my opponent.
The sarcasm was tangible. Not a bad brawl!

"Hakkar, the Soulflayer - ATTENTION: Do not enter any major city while infected with the Corrupted Blood!"
Love it, lol

Every game has some degree of online "toxicity," but HS never struck me as that toxic. Millions of players, and only about 100 truly offensively toxic comments over my experience is still a great ratio, and thickens the skin a bit.
Then again, I've played DOTA 2, so the bar is set pretty high for me.

Might be okay, and might be okay off of some kind of random spell generation, I guess...but damn if I won't roll my eyes if I see purple and flip to find this card.
