Blizzard seems to have a clear approach to Hearthstone. Anyone can use/abuse simple decks to get high legend. Anyone. All you need is the deck and experience. And despite the rise of decks that have a way off difficulty-succes ratio (razakus priest, jade druid) Blizzard consistently fails to solve this problem. In the past I've always assumed that was Blizzards fault, but now I know better. They deliberately choose to not fix these decks.
And why not? That's very simple, because the average HS player enjoys them. Does the average HS player care in the slightest bit about which deck they are using, or how this influences their ladder opponents? No, all they care about hitting that rank -whether it be 10, 5, legend or legend #x- to get that sense of accomplishment they lack in life, even if they consciously or subconsciously know they don't deserve it.
As a small piece of proof, all you have to look at is the average HS pro. Is the average HS pro capable of expert calculations in a short span of time? Does the average HS pro seem to be incredibly intelligent? No, on the contrary, the majority of them seem to be average people because they are. A lot of them are average people who just so happen to dedicate a lot of time to HS, which results in - you guessed it - experience.
In theory, the main skill required for HS is mathematics, with ofcourse the main task being calculating probabilities. In practice, the skill is divided into about a 90-10 ratio, consisting of experience - intelligence. I am thoroughly convinced there have been plenty of metas in which a person who is borderline legally retarded could've hit legend, and that's not an exaggeration.
But hey, Blizzard has a clear strategy and a lot of people seem to be getting joy off that strategy. To what extent, can I complain about that? Perhaps it's simply my fault for misinterpreting the core of Hearthstone. Blizzard makes money, people enjoy. Simple as that.
Without further ado, I'm officially quitting Hearthstone. I might drop by the fora occassionally, I might take another look at the game when the next expansions drops. And who knows, maybe some incredibly difficult but highly rewarding deck gets discovered, but I highly doubt it.
God, this is the worst fucking expansion yet! All decks are broken, secrets are now the ultimate cancer and if I see one more fucktard Warlock I am going fucking postal....
Bring back the great glory days of KoFT! Wish this shitspansion had never arrived now...

Never thought I'd get to this point, but screw it, I'm with you. Hearthstone is officially down the toilet with this latest crap they've put out. I'm so done with it.
If I could "friend" and rip a fat new one into every retard playing Warlock or Mage right now, I would...

I quit a week after Mean Streets launched. I stay off for about 6 months I think. Did it again after Frozen Throne for 3 months. It's very cleansing. I hope you find peace out there in the real world.
If you're playing Razakus and dare to BM the moment you topdeckPsychic Scream when I had lethal on board and then BM again after playing Anduin to kill my full board of huge demons seriously go f**k yourself.... I know you believe you're a special snowflake that is way more skilled than anyone else just cause you have your little golden portrait but you're just deluded,an ameba would be able to pilot that broken crap to Legend.... I can't wait for Spring to arrive so that Priest goes back being shit tier again.... I really can't wait for the moment to come.....
Also my luck with packs this expansion has been terrible.... I opened Shaman's,Warrior's and Druid's weapons so I had to craft Alanna.... Like seriously? Giving me Kingsbane/Aluneth was too difficult?! Heck even a meme card would've been better than those useless weapons for classes I don't even play..... If I can't have the Legendaries I want can I at least get some decent epics for once? I don't want damn Corridor Creeper (I have 3 of them, does anyone want some?) or Void Ripper or Astral Tiger I want to play Big Mage not Zoo or Recruit Druid or whatever Deck would run Confuse with a body....

That's what I did. And right now Hearthstone is triggering me basically after like 5min. I said it 10000 times and I will say that again - how STUPID designers must be to create a card game, target esport with it and make most cards RNG driven. It's like building a car where breaks sometimes work and sometimes not.
And new player experience (or new expansion experience)... that's just Scrooge lvl greed. I really hope this game dies in peace and lets us keep good memories of it, not memories of complete morons turning a pretty cool game into brainless shit.

Perhaps it is a fair assumption to say that you are quiting the game because you think you are better than other players and deserve to win over people who are "average" in your eyes, and it is their view of other people that influences you to feel unsatisfied with the game (i.e. You have a need to be better than the players you play against to have enjoyment, and not the feeling of accomplishment that you were better than them by out-playing them, but due to some level of intelligence not associated with what is done in game.
That moment when you realize you only got shit legendaries out of packs...
i mean really the mage weapon=useless complete crap unplayable shit arse magic wand worth 400 dust... warlock weapon is fine but then ladder system being such a shite and throwing against all the decks with all oozes and harrison teched in the deck just to be sure the man'ari wont summon a one demon. talking about warlock eh what about the 6 mana 3/6 taunt? oh wait is that legendary minion? eh? let me correct that shit for ya Rin, the First Disciple Deathrattle Help Valeera to mill all your cards so that the seals are useless when you are dead. warrior weapon utter bullshit. or what about the 9 mana garbage who summons 1,2,3 attack minions from your deck. last but not least........... hunter weapon... GARBAGE
Thank you, come again. See you when the next expansion drops...
I actually like Oakenheart. Check out Thijs' youtube highlight where he made a deck based around the card (or was it Savjz? I forget, one of the two). You can make similar types of decks both for paladin & and for a Tempo/Control-based warlock build (pulling out the demon that summons 3 Voidwalkers upon dying & the 2 attack dragon to summon a dragon at the end of the turn (which can be used to pull out one of the Deathwings as well)). N'Zoth also fits nicely within the same deck.
I would personally impalate with a spear with a big dildo every retard who likes to go aggro Cancerseth and with the motherfucking 5 cost OP abnormal dragon when you are trying fun decks or improve old decks with the new cards in casual games. For God's sake go to rankeds or kill yourself you fucking scumbags don't bring out more shit to this game.
Ffs it has only been a few days and I am already regretting buying packs for yet aother shitty meta it seems. Sure still needs time to settle. Don't mind me in the meantime facing aggro after aggro after aggro.
Can't even climb to bloody rank 10 again by dropping 1 star every time I am 1 win away. All I see is call to arms buffadin/murlocadin, shitty secret mage with 4x counterspell, warlocks with 20 taunts. Sick of this bullshit already, especially those anoying mages. Bugger off.
Edit; if you play any version of keleseth decks, kindly go fuck yourself.
I have to vent for a sec about the players in the community who blame the new expansion for causing people to play the same decks. Get real people. Expansions don't really strictly create this phenomenon, but it is the community that does. So many of the players want the most consistent ladder deck that will have the greatest chance to hit legend so they copy that one deck. It doesn't matter if that one deck is 1000% times better than the one under it, or it is only 0.0001% better than the next deck, people will still lean towards the deck with the more min/maxed win rate for the current meta.
Making a meta balanced enough for a tier 1-2 deck for each class (lawl balancing a meta for each class when people just want the best performing deck) would still result in mostly seeing a few different decks when you get to try-hard ranks. No balance checks, individual cards, or expansions will change this and it bugs me when people misunderstand the community's motivations for playing certain decks and think that they can magically change the conditions that create stale metas.
TL;DR: Expansions don't create stale metas, players wanting consistency and the highest win rates do.
OMG priest is unstoppable in wild, wild has become so terribly unbalanced. Is blizzard planning on doing anything about it?
As much as I hate the Wild Reno priest I disagree with doing balance checks in wild unless in extreme cases. Physical card games don't go around reassessing and nerfing powerful cards in their traditional non-banned list formats, why should HS break the mold for how the genre handles these formats? Plus, wild is meant to follow after what its name means. You don't call it "Tame" do you?

To be fair, physical card games can't really nerf their cards at all (YuGiOh's horrible attempts at errata aside), usually they just ban cards that are having unexpected or unwanted effects on the meta. Banning cards in Wild would be totally against the spirit of the format though.
Sunfun: Play Priest in wild for 20 games, see what your win-rate is. I guarantee you it's not more than 60%. Figure out what you lose to and play that if you want to beat Priest.

Don't ever bring up the YuGiOh erratas ever again.
I still miss old Chaos Emperor Dragon, Crush Card Virus and Temple of the Kings.

If there must be something I hate more than pirate warrior, I guess mill rogue takes the crown. What a utterly bullshit sad deck.
you should be banned if you play hunter in casual.
