Latest Update: The newest version below has taken me from Rank 5 to Rank 1 with about a 70% win rate overall. Thanks also to Painkiller for a couple of great suggestions on improvements.
It made me smile to wipe the floor with the Tempo Rogues flooding the game right now. :-) EDIT: I've updated the list with some tweaks and improvements that improve the consistency and performance of the deck.
On to the deck:
I created this deck in response to the amount of Tempo Rogue decks there seem to be currently. (However, Heal Druid will make you sad. Accept that one :-P )
It does particularly well against Rogue and Mage decks in part due to the sheer amount of face damage it outputs. (assuming you can get a good start and keep up the pressure) Against Big Mage, they simply don't have time to get their giants online before you crush face.
General Guide:
Look for the Town Crier or the Deckhand (if you are going first) to start. Make only the minimal and value trades - or to remove taunts etc. Redband Wasp and Inner Rage are your best friends in the early game (along with Frothing Berserker for backup). a 2-mana 6/2 is terrifying for the opponent. :-)
Nobody expects to see the Arcanite Reaper any more. And even better, the Sul'thraze (which is perfect for clearing Dread Corsairs against Tempo Rogue. Using either of these with Upgrade can be devastating.
As cheesy as it sounds, look to go face as often and as much as physically possible. You can (usually) pretty much ignore the board for the most part of the game. Taking damage will help your Mortal Strikes do more damage to finish the opponent off.
Finally:
I've only been playing this deck since yesterday, so I don't have solid stat data yet, but I hope people find this deck fun to play and something different. :-) So far, though, I've noticed an average 70-80% win rate for me in the current meta. Only Control Warrior has proved difficult, but it's usually a 50-50.
Ahhhhhh Face Warrior how I've missed thee. I'll give it a go for sure, thanks Scorpyon!
But only one Gorehowl? That's some sad times. 😔
Haha - you could add another one if you feel the need, of course. Wasn't sure if that was overkill and made the curve too high or not. Usually by the time it can be used, you are close to killing the opponent anyway.
Why do you have Boom there? It wont work the same way DK Rexxar could carry a game vs control deck, it is a dead card considering what ur trying to do.
I suppose replacing Boom with another Reaper would work. I was using him as a sor of falback plan - admittedly I've not needed himmst of the time, so it might be anti-synergetic with the deck, as you suggest.
This is why i'm bored of the Meta though, it feels like Hearthstone is back to square 1 as it was in 2014, the only things that people make are aggro face decks and the only counter to them is a deck that will cost you a leg and your left ball.
I understand the frustration. I'm not usually an aggro player much (unless I am trying to power rank etc) but sometimes it can just be simple good fun. That's all I really wanted from this deck. It feels pretty powerful when you get a sweet curve.
The extra reach from the strikes make it a lot easier to finish off the opponent. Gorehowl was too slow but Sul’thraze is amazing, especially against Rogues with their Dread Corsairs. And more so when buffed!
zilliax was just too slow and not aggressive enough. The extra Red and Wasp helps the early game.
And Oh My God! A Red Band Wasp with In er Rage is terrifying and has won me every game versus big mage so far!
currently rank 3 after a long win streak from Rank 5 (2 stars). Might actually push for legend again with this deck. It feels so easy to play and powerful! :-)
I like the idea of the deck so I decided to give it a try (with your revisions). My first game was against a Tempo Rogue and he didn't even stand a chance matching the damage output race for face, lol.

Could certainly work. I haven't tried it - but a couple times found myself low on cards. Perhaps card draw is the final missing piece here. I might try adding one or two and see... Not sure what I would want to cut though
You'll run into issues with all the weapon removal in the meta. That's why I run more cheap weapons in mine to get them out of the way by the time the big weapons get equipped
Nice to see this archetype getting some exposure. I think there's really something to be found here. I actually brought something similar to a local tournament and did well (wanted to bring a warrior to bait the bans, but didn't want to get hard targeted by a Roger-like lineup. As a bonus, the people not banning warrior had decklists prepared for the other kind RIP)
Yeah, there's a lot of removal - though in fairness, I don't tend to see it that much as people don't seem to expect Warrior to use weapons as much these days, so I have to assume they mulligan away the Oozes etc. What I've found, though, is that with the Ooze, I lose the weapon, but the minions are doing so much damage to face, it usually doesn't cause too much issue - it's a minor delay, but the damage output is so high it doesn't have too much effect. And there's always more weapons in the deck for reload (as well as Upgrade providing a small weapon in a crunch). :-)
Nice deck bro, I will try your decklist in the next few days with some tweaks to counter my meta. I think that token druid is the hardest matchup since they can gain board advantage and cast Soul of the Forest so that they can outvalue our charge minions. 1 like for the deck, :>

Thanks man! In fairness (now you mention it), I've not actualyl come across a Druid Token opponent yet in my games with this deck. So I don't have much knowledge as to how it would perform. I can imagine that druid can output the damage to quick for it, since this deck doesn't really run any board clears (like at all).
As far as I concerned, Druid best counter is Control Warrior with pure AOEs and control decks using Baron Geddon to gain advantage. Other than that, this deck has potential to outburst those pesky Tempo Rogues. :)
I've been playing this deck exclusively today (probably a good 30-40 games - I'm at work, so can't plauy that much). From the games I've played, I found that as I got higher in rank, the games seemed to become more consistently won or lost in the first 4-6 turns or so. Especially against Rogues. There are a lot of decisions involved in playing this deck, I've noticed. It's not just about going face all the time.
In any case, I noticed in particular that I was often losing tempo around turn 3. Without a Frothing Beserker to play, quite often I would end up having to waste the turn on a hero power etc. This was a serious loss of damage tempo and often cost me the game. Also, I noticed that when I used a Town Crier, if I got Darius Crowley I was usually more annoyed than pleased. So I decided to cut him. I've also cut the last Rampage. It's a nice burst card, but often just sits in my hand waiting for something to play it on. Instead, I've added 2 of the good old staple Fiery War Axes. The extra 6 damage is key here - especially now Rogues are using Lifedrinker (AkA cheating :-P ) The waraxe combats this quite well. And also provides a dummy target to weapon removal that helps protect the Arcanite Reaper from getting destroyed.
I've made some more little adjustments to the deck which have been a huge improvement, taking me to my current rank (1). The oozes are really good against rogues - and also serve to help remove their taunt minions when they spam them out.

I would rather use another Reaper because of the 2 charges. If there arent that many Oozes of course. ^^
Always expect the unexpectable!

I’ve made a couple of small changes which seems to have drastically improved the deck.
+1 Redband Wasp, +2 Mortal strike, +1 Sul’thraze
-1 Rampage, -1 Zilliax, -1 Argent Commander, -1 Gorehowl
The extra reach from the strikes make it a lot easier to finish off the opponent. Gorehowl was too slow but Sul’thraze is amazing, especially against Rogues with their Dread Corsairs. And more so when buffed!

What about Battle Rage for card draw?
Cheap way to refill and keep the pressure going.
Feels good doesn't it! ;-)
