Here's the version I'm currently using and it does pretty well vs. both aggressive and slow decks, unless the Aggro opponent drew the nuts. At first I played double Omega Mind instead of Menacing Nimbus but I found it to be too slow and just healing up won't save you anyway. Therefore I tweaked the list to operate a little more proactive, the Overload package is very useful. Earthen Might looked promising but in the end it's not additional random value you're looking for. Depending on your local meta you might swap a copy of Voltaic Burst with Earth Shock or vice versa. Haunting Visions can be coupled nicely with Spirit of the Frog to speed up your draw. Finally, Krag'wa, the Frog and/or Barista Lynchen are just overkill, similar to Earthen Might.
mine is looking almost indentical to yours now. I'm still missing Kragwa though unfortunately. I get him from the battlecry discover cards though when I get them from hagatha, but that's often way too late to be copying my brews. I know he must be awesome when paired with zentimo as well though (does the extra casts count, like they do with brew?) casting hex 3 times with zentimo then next turn getting 3 copies back with kragwa would be dope. I really think in some games, being able to use so many hexes would be perfect for nullifying big chunks of the opponents mana and tempo.
you could even bog slosher your sentimo back if you had enough mana for it, that way you can do it again. I think the zentimo + hex is needed Vs. bomb warrior as if they play dr boom with bombs in your deck, those bombs are gonna hurt, man. only way I can see to deal with it is playing zentimo+hex and then at least stopping 3 of them from going off in your face. I guess if you had some kind of board you could just lightning storm them all and hope the board takes the damage for you.
I don't have zentimo either though, so I'm pretty stuck. I just gotta play with what I have for now, and hope I can get those cards soon to help out. maybe I should add those battlecry discovery cards to my deck to try and get a kragwa early at least. probably not worth it though.
Also I like to play 2 copies of the spell that discovers a Battlecry. Vs Control you often get to pick up an extra Shudderwock or Hagatha and vs aggro you just pick something to contest the board.
yeah that discovery card is actually dope. I am thinking about trying them out. when I've got them from hagatha they have been decent. can often give me kragwa which I don't have.
looks decent, man. I think mine is pretty close to yours now. I still need zentimo and kragwa to really make mine the best it can be though.
how you finding far sight? I don't use them as theres too many cheap cards in my deck. I find they're better when you have more big cards. goes perfect in big shaman for instance.
also guys, what do you think about the rain of frogs package? I am looking into it now. I found a control shaman thing on reddit (I only just started using reddit, but under a different pseudonym as I use a different name on every single platform) and it seems like a pretty decent information dump on Hearthstone.
I don't post very often on there though, I just go to read things. I like Hearthpwn for interaction (or at least it was like this once, now not many people seem to want to discuss decks, they just want to argue about nerfs and things like that) It's the longest I've ever been active on a forum before (although I do go silent for extended periods of time, I always come back) and it sort of feels like home for Hearthstone to me. Usually I join Discord groups and this is where I discuss games, but there is something about hearthpwn that keeps me coming back (I think it's the interconnectivity and decksharing tbh though, as if I'm being real here, I don't get very much of my social fix from here at all any more. I don't enjoy talking about nerfs and things, and discussing deck building just isn't popular any more)
for anyone new that might be tuning in. as I had stated right at the start, the striped down control shaman is doing better than any other version right now. as we have such abysmal winrates vs control warrior anyway, the fatigue package isn't even really needed, and through tweaking the deck to beat aggro, we improve our winrates drastically.
I have uploaded the original deck again. there is a version on HS replay that is almost incidental that now has the highest winrates of any control shaman deck, purely because it's so good VS. everything but the control warrior and conjurer mage.
here is the deck again, guys. If anyone wants to try a control shaman but doesn't have all the cards, this one does really well.
I also made a version with rain of frogs. I would normally have electra in this, but have had to make do with vargoth for now. This is a new version I'm working on, so this is just the first test run.
so many little differences in the different Control Shamans. overload mechanics seem to work the best for controlling early game. I was browsing the decklists from the coming HCT and there are alot of similarities in the Control Shaman brought, and some differences. So it really is looking like theres no "perfect deck" ATM and theres tons of room for tweaking depending on your personal choice/taste and meta your in. lol
Funny side not, I made practically every version of Control Shaman the Pros brought to the HCT. LOL Feelsgoodman to know we are on the right track with our deck building skills!! lol
Cheers to your Deck Fiend and other deck creators!!!

I just uploaded the anti aggro one again as this was my initial deck, but my main one looks a lot more like the one thjis runs now, so I thought I'd upload that one again for people to try out who might not have all the cards. Also to show you don't actually need the fatigue package. I only crafted elysiana because I thought she looked fun. In control shaman you will rarely win those fatigue games anyway, so you can just focus more on winning against the decks you're actually good against.
also I'm still missing tools like krag'wa, electra and zentimo which can all help in different ways with the more fleshed out shaman decks. I have been talking to someone on youtube who runs an electra/zentimo package in theirs and says it really helps VS warrior. In fact they were claiming warrior is no problem for them which I have hard time believing tbh as I know how touch those games are for me.
maybe they have cracked it though and their list is better for warrior.
this is their list anyway. honestly though if they're running far sight in deck with low cost spells, they might not know what they're doing after all. ha ha.
So my advice is you can't beat everything and because of that, you have to decide how much of your deck win rate are you willing to sacrifice to improve your win rates against bad match ups?
If this deck is good against Aggro, and we are seeing alot of aggro, then stick with it. If you find you are facing a 50/50 mix of aggro and control, then change a few cards out to give yourself a long game plan. And if you are facing only control, you may have to gut the deck entirely or play a new class. Shaman CAN beat control heavy decks, but not often. The random spell generation from Hagatha only goes so far because you need minions and Firefly is no longer in the Standard rotation.
I think if you are beating Aggro, then keep at it and beat up those Druid players. But if you want more late game options, slot in 2 to 4 cards at maximum for control.
I cut Elysianna myself. CBA with 45 min games vs control warrior that will end in a draw. It's also a terrible pull from Far Sight. I just consider the deck an anti aggro deck now. If you're running into control warrior switch to summon/dragon mage.

I have two new versions, one with shudder and elysiana and one without. they both only run 1 brew though and no visions or frogs. you need krag'wa for those to be worth it (and I don't have krag'wa)
I also changed the one I was working on initially to reflect how it should look optimally, so I added krag'wa to it.
I'd also like electra for my aggressive lists and possibly zentimo as well. don't have 'em yet though neither. ha ha.

thanks man. I'm trying out a version of my aggro killer deck, only with a couple of cards taken out to allow for shudderwok and elysiana. I would still like to have them in my deck, and changing two cards shouldn't matter too much (although those fire elementals are actually a decent card to play on curve. They help clear up with their 3 damage, they can hit face with it and they're pretty big. they can be a prime target for earthen might as well. I would not run them with shudder though as those 3 damage will hit my face, every time, know they will. I still remember yog)
I also took out those 1 mana sparks for a bog slosher and a storm chaser in this version. (I have them both uploaded if you want to see them, as well as having edited the intial deck to include krag'wa, as I found out that krag'wa is essential with the draw and spells package I was working towards)
EDIT: the anti aggro one is already on the page, this is my new one though. I am still fine tuning it, not sure on the spell ratio as usually would like 2 more overload spells. those little guys with rush (the token one) are great to play with thunderhead that I have in the aggro version.
This one is supposed to have more of a strong early game board presence though, as well as the ability to go into fatigue.
Honestly though, I just can't not play shudder and elysiana as I crafted them for this deck upon the recommendations of other people, and I will completely loose my shit if I think they are worthless to me. I need to make them work to keep my sanity.
I'd really like these cards to work out for me. haha.

such a good game. thjis gets a lucenbark from an evolve and also gets a zihi from the discover battlecry card. absolutely spanks this control warrior.
amazing.
