Best game do not turn around casual players, it s a popular game but sorry HS is not so great. If you look at fornite (popular game too), HS is clearly better game even if it s a casual game. (And yes, you can have pro on casual games like any game. But the difference winrate between a pro gamer and rank5/low legend player is like 10% more win rate when in a "real skilled game you enjoy and want try hard" you have nearly no chance to win vs a progamer even if you are good. Just look at SCII pro game for stay on blizzard.
The story of ofe expansions, specially HoS is good. Un the other hand the main story of TW3 is worse than average. The baron arc is good but the rest (specially the Dandelion part and the ending ) is awful.
I have no Hope for you yo remove your fan glasses but the game is good but not that impressive in the alltime scale.
Can i ask u what kind of archetype is ur favourite in HS. Combo aggro midrange or control?
voted no simply because i'm a sucker for terraria-like games, HS is a really good game, but i like Terraria better (also have any if you guys checked planet centauri, it's still in early access and while not being as deep as Terraria or Starbound yet, it feels like a complete game, it feels like a fusion of almost all the best parts of both Terraria and starbound, with some unique stuff added (custom magic system and a transformation system) , there's no universe exploration yet but it's supposed to be an upcoming feature.
You'll love it. You'll become a fanatical convert within 20 minutes. Trust me.
Well, I tried it until after the first Tower. Seems pretty interesting. I don't enjoy the artstyle as much as, say, Link to the Past, but I will continue playing it. I do think it might be an exaggeration you made there, but if it keeps up, it is definitely a great game.
Really glad you gave it a go. I find the combat to be sharper than Link to the Past and the soundtrack is proper epic. Stick with it and you'll uncover a great story with some truly moving moments.
Best card game, yes. As far as best game period, I have to say Witcher 3, haven't played a better game in my lifetime and that includes all the NES, SEGA and PS1 games I played in childhood. And you also need to give props to World of Warcraft back in the time, I got so addicted to it back in 2008, the game was like a drug, it was so good at that time. Good thing I realized I was addicted and was able to quit it after playing it for half a year.
Umm, what happened to the love for artifact? Or MTG Arena?
Hearthstone is still far and away this best digital card game. Best game period? Nah, thought because of the nature of the game, it never gets boring, and so can provide thousands of hrs of entertainment, like an MMOG, compared to just maybe a hundred hours from the best AAA games.
Artifact has lost around 97% of its player base since launch. As I predicted would happen. It sits at around 123rd on the list of Steam games played, behind Darkest Dungeon and Dark Souls II. At its peak it had 61000 or so players now its around 1500...😬
Best online card game yes, but best overall game no
It is a game I can repeatly play and have kept playing since its release, but it lack essential components to make it the best game in my opinion.
For me it is important that a game have a great story to be categorised as the best game. Another component that make up a good game is the world you immense yourself in. Some of the best games I have played would be; The Last of Us, Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. I like the whole set of post apocalyptic worlds. Last of Us have great story while the Fallout Series lack a bit story, but have a fantastic world to explore and interesting choices to make.
For me an online competitive game would never bare the titel of best game.
I may never stop playing it, but... well, being addictive and being the best are different things. Just look at Cookie Clicker and-
(then I realized my boi Sherman made this thread, and got so bamboozled I couldn't write more :P)

I would not say it is the BEST game. But I would rather say it is ONE of the best game.
It's the game I've played the most in my adult life, sure, but best game in the world? All I have to say is "lol"
Can i ask u what kind of archetype is ur favourite in HS. Combo aggro midrange or control?
Definitely one of the best games out there.

Best card game hands down. I prefer RPGs in general for gaming. Currently playing AC Odyssey to get the last few achievements.
No, Diablo 2 or Everquest is the best game ever made..

4/3/19 RIP Keith Flint. 😔

It is probably the best Blizzard-made card game in the world, quite possibly even the best Blizzard-made game in the world.
Legendaries crafted so far: Dr. Boom, Kazakus, Lord Jaraxxus, Sylvanas Windrunner, Fire Plume's Heart, Mal'Ganis, Bloodreaver Gul'dan, Baku the Mooneater, Genn Greymane, Aya Blackpaw, Patches the Pirate, Leeroy Jenkins, Zilliax, Raid the Docks and ancharr

Best game? No, nowhere near it.
Best card game? Not even close. That one probably goes to MtG though I'd personally give it to VS System (the original one)
Best digital card game? Yep, absolute winner in that field, as evident by all those ''Hearthstone killers''
The Great Game is afoot ... try not to lose your head.
Nice try Blizzard
