posted a message on How 1 single card almost nullified my hype

When I saw the card I thought damn those developers went crazy cause that card destroys warrior and some druid decks.

Then I realised that the card wasn't really that strong since it is only relevent in those specific matchups. It will likely see play if something like control warrior dominate the new meta, but I doubt it.

Would you really tech in that card over something stronger against most matchups? I doubt it.

I wouldn't worry too much about it unless ofc. ,as I said, Control warrior becomes dominant.

It is by far the strongest comp now, but everyone tries to get them so it can be hard to get them - sometimes you are unlucky and don't get to offered any and then it only gets harder as more people take them from the pool.

The only change I can see happening to Amalgam is moving it up to tier 3 - it is a minion that is much needed.

    Quote from SinAscendant >>

Just ended a game with a 71/71 gold Watcher, just went ahead and Golded it on the last round

If you get Wraith Weaver early and a Watcher asap this build is pretty broken. I had two Divine Shield + poison + Taunt amalgams to take out their poisonous.

@Echtvad: Why would they lose to mech? The stats are too high for mech to punch through even with multiple divine shields, I was ending every round with 60-70 health on board

Well I threw mech in the mix cause mechs can also get quite big and they have divine shields and token generators to get even more divine shields. But if you are lucky enought to get a huge Battlemaster the mech composition will often loose if they don't have a poison to deal with it. There is alot of variables, but I still feel mech is stronger in most cases - A Soul Juggler sniping divine shields on the mechs is a huge deal as an example.

I don't see demon or beast compositions at my rating (about 6900-6980) in the end game. As i see it mech is the weakest of the end game compositions I listed.

If I were to go beasts or demons I would likely do it as George as atleast he can give them divine shields.

posted a message on [New Patch] Demon Build

Well going for a specific build is never a good idea in BG as you might not be offered any demons or wrath weaver. Also demons suffer from the same thing as beasts being they are just big piles of stats. They will be destroyed late game against murlocs, mechs or menagerie builds. But if you like it go for it ;) Jaraxxus was one my favorite heroes when I started playing BG even before the buff, but there are just better heroes and team compositions out there.

I'm very excited for this - good to see that Blizzard learned from the classic WoW release - Old is better.

posted a message on Patch 16.0 - Removal of Doom in the Tomb Cards, BG changes and New Heroes

My bad too thought you were pointing fingers directly at me ;)  It just saddens me that so many of the comments are about complaints about the soon to become unexclusive hero instead of all the cool things added.
Murlocs in battleground right now are insane - not that they needed more support as it was already a legit end game strategy.

I was not too lazy since I got all the other heroes you could obtain from during thing like the paladin one where you needed to level a WoW character to lvl 20 and in this case I just couldn't get it because im from Denmark.
Whether or not i'm lazy have nothing to do with my previous comment since I don't really care about the hero.

So many complaints about Tyrande being free and i'm here like, I don't even want it - you can keep your exclusives if it makes people with money happy.

Arch-Villain Rafaam seems way too strong - getting The Zap guy and snipe the enemy lightfang = infinite Lightfangs - Will have to test it out tho, but seems really good.

    Quote from MurderOClock >>

In regards to AFK, I don't think the issue is her power level as a hero overall, but the disadvantage it can put the unlucky players who draw her turn 3 and 4.  If you lose your first two rounds, then draw her turn three you are usually in the mid 20s and severely behind everyone else.

I think amalgam at three would work.  It starts the buffs later and gives some thought to how you tier up, considering you tier to two on turn two 98% of the time.  I would be nervous to get hit for more damage from surviving amalgams though.  Lightfang should definitely move to 6.  I think they could even do a bottom tier system, like when you tier up to six (which some heroes don't ever want to do) you don't see tier ones anymore.  Making Pyramad and Finley target-able is enough to make them playable imo.  Starting Patchwerk at 50 gives him room to play aggressively without the luxury of auto hitting top four every game.  Ultimately, I would like to see lightfang and amalgam go so more tribes can be introduced.

In relation to taking more damage from Amalgam I just wanted to say that Amalgam rarely survives as it is often the minion with taunt that gets killed by your second, third or fourth minion depending on your setup.

    - Add Unstable Ghoul at tier 2 for a divine shield removale tech option.

    - Move Nightmare Amalgam to tier 3.

    - Move Cobolt Guardian to tier 4

    - Maybe move Lightfang to tier 6, but there is already a rumour of a nerf to 2/1 buffs instead of 2/2.

    - I would like to nerf murloc somehow, but I don't know how to since their late game is by far the strongest if they get the gentle megasaur unless you are nerfarien or if they ad Unstable Ghoul as a tech option.

    - make some of the bad random heropowers targetable - like Pyramid head or what he is called - if you could choose which one to buff it would be a bit better - George got the ability to target his divine shield buff, why can't other do the same.
