I hope we get no new classes again.

Would rather see them develop more custom matches mode (like you can ban a class) or another mode.. 60 cards decks, 4 duplicates.. or something else.

Would it be possible to somehow customize what to see in "Recent Forum Discussion" on the front page?

I'll take this suggestion up with the devs. A filter system for the front page might be an interesting feature. I know MMO-Champion has a similar system, but that is a very different forum software so not sure how hard or easy something like this would be to implement here on HearthPwn.

It's a very busy time right now with the card reveals starting next week, so it's unlikely there'll be anything to announce about this any time soon however.

Hi again, I hope it can happen. Lately I would like to filter battlegrounds out. I don't play it and titles like "Is "Chenvaala OP now" confuses me because the card is far from OP and then I click it and I am like oohh it is battlegrounds (again) because it has happened several times before.

Nothing against battlegrounds, just not a mode I want to play.

posted a message on No new patch. streamers new cards...

I think it would be nice if an expansion would launch without any information regarding the cards were released before we all could play them. Then we would get 24 hours perhaps, where we would not meet decks from the net..

We would still meet players who just play decks that worked before expansion, but not decks using new the cards optimal.

Don't think it will happens because someone at Blizzard has calculated that they sell more packs the wat they do it.

I think this is the first card, that can single silence cards with "Can't be targeted by spells or Hero Powers"?

Thank you. I understand and I hope it is something that is not too much work after the expansion, if its something staff decides to do :)

Its cool that we use the site for different things. This is not about the music thread. No offense was meant towards it, except I am not interested in it. I hope its acceptable that the thread is not for everybody.

This is merely a suggestion to customize what you see in "Recent Forum Discussion". I don't play battlegrounds, so it would be nice not to see any threads from that forum as another example.

What is wrong with the "Official Music Thread!"? XD

I don't visit a hearthstone site to get music suggestions, but I don't think the thread should not be here, I just don't want to "follow" it and rather see other threads on "Recent Forum Discussion" :-)

    Hi

As others perhaps I often just watch this part and do not check the forums,

So I wonder if it could be possible to select which part of the forum to see there?

    Or not see. Threads like:

    "80g Quest Trading - Play A Friend!"

    "Official Music Thread!"

and the salt thread, the pepper thread and the whole battlegrounds subforum, do not hold any interest for me, but are often there.

Would it be possible to somehow customize what to see in "Recent Forum Discussion" on the front page?

Why is this even an issue? If they get information they shouldn't have, sure, that's a problem. But letting other players keep track of information or even see damage on board doesn't hurt your own playing. I hate winning because the opponent missed lethal. It feels unearned. I want to play against the other player at their peak. They still make plenty of choices, but if they want help doing it, that's fine. I don't really use deck trackers most of the time. Too much time to set up. But I can fully understand others wanting to use them, and in no way should they be disallowed. It doesn't hurt me not using one if other people do, and it probably contributes to making games better.

In chess there is no luck or randomness, its pure skill, knowledge and being observant, so when you win its because you are better than your opponent. I am not talking about a single game of chess, there is a reason why you play 2 or more games in tournament, but then the winner is the best player on that day(s).

In hearthstone there is a lot of randomness, so winning is partly luck. Good players win more, because they have the average luck combined with skill and knowledge. Winning in hearthstone is skill and luck.

Decktrackers makes winning more luck and less skill, than without it. For argument sake lets say its 60% luck and 40% skills. I claim that decktrackers changes that to 70% luck and 30% skills.

You write that you hate winning because your opponent missed lethal? I call that winning because my opponent made a mistake. Like when I win in chess because my opponent failed to see that I was 2 moves away from checkmate.

I want to win because I am better than my opponent and not because I am more lucky. And I like to play on even terms. That is why I don't like decktrackers doing all they can do for players.

I don't play Hearthstone to practice basic math, and trackers remove the bad feeling of losing because of forgetting which cards are left in the deck. Grinding to legend is so much more enjoyable with trackers imo.

A good memory is part of the skills needed to be good at a card game, so if Blizzard does not deem that it should be the case for Hearthstone like it is for whist or bridge, then they should build it in or maybe do like with wow and addons.

I play for fun and yes I could just use a tracker to be even, but why should I play easier mode to be able to play fair games?

And it is not fair when the tracker can save you a lot of time keeping track what is left in your deck, what your opponent has played, do calculations, rule out secrets for you, tell you where the cards in opponents hand are from.. etc.

People sometimes call hearthstone for randomstone and says its more luck than skill. Trackers make the skill level needed even lower, which makes it somewhat more a luck than a skill game (yes, it does still require skills otherwise we would not have pro players).
