I expected a patch today... introducing the new HGG card back... new ranks... more infos on the purchase of Sir Annoy-O as well as infos on the virtual reward from blizzcon virtual ticket. ´ Sorry but it’s unacceptable to me that they’re so slow to announce everything and even updates.
I think this is probably time for you to maybe look into creating some other aspect to your life that can help you between each event in Hearthstone. I would say it is not healthy for a person to be so invested in the game that they get frustrated over the company not releasing news about said game, news they never advertise would be coming in the first place.
I think you need to take a hard look at yourself man, for your own good. They don't have to make announcements and updates at the pace you want them to do, for you to think so is quite funny, just because of your belief of entitlement.
First, I barely even do my dailies anymore. Playing maybe 5 games every 2 days.
Secondly, you're posting all the time in those forums, much more than I do, which tends to make me believe that you care even more than I.
So your entire post if full of shit, that's the way I see it. Don't try to sound like a smartass when you aren't.

You are the one that came here, created a post about how you find unacceptable that Blizzard is taking to long to make announcements and updates, that you expected something today without having any indication from Blizzard that you would be getting something today, you're the one that is showing that you care more than what is reasonable, expecting things beyond what you were told to expect.
It's one thing to be excited, eager for something that has been announced, it is something else when it is yet to be announced.
It's completely reasonable to expect a patch that puts the brand new HGG card back into the game, a week after people have paid for it. Sure, they didn't give any official release date, that doesn't change the fact that it's REASONABLE to expect it. Just like it's completely reasonable to expect more infos on the new skins and even virtual goodies from blizzcon, after 1-2 wees of waiting.
As for this thread, sometimes at work during my breaks I am bored and look for HS news/hearthpwn, decided to make this thread.
Bolded: technically speaking, everything that I'm ''excited and eager for'' are things that have already been announced, that's why I want to know more on those because we have very little details, including blizzcon and Annoy-O.
Say an ice cream parlor begins to hand out free ice cream on the first day of each month. Then, a while later, they say their policy has changed, and they will no longer hand out free ice cream. The patrons are furious. They no longer have their free ice cream. Had the parlor not given out all that free ice cream, nobody would have complained.
The easy solution to this problem seems to be to not hand out ice cream in the first place. I like free ice cream, and I think you would as well.

I wasn't aware you paid for the card back, that is news to me. I was under the impression that you purchased Twitch Bits which you could use in any manner you liked, and that if you used them to Cheer in a specific manner, it would grant you a free reward on Hearthstone, reward which was never stated when it would come.
I also thought the Blizzcon purchases were either tickets to visit it in person, or a virtual ticket to get access to the Content they will stream that is not available normally, along with In Game Goodies. They haven't announced the In Game Goodies as far as I recall, but they also have time before the event takes place, and no one is required to order Virtual Tickets now, as all the content is digital and there is no limit to the purchases, meaning ordering it now or the day before Blizzcon is the same thing, only you are more likely to have complete information on your purchase if you buy it later, allowing a more informed decision.
They announced all they wanted to announce, and further details clearly are not going to be revealed today, you stated you expected something today when they never told you to expect it today. We have very few details about the In Game Goodies and the hero Skin, and if that excites you, good, but to expect Blizzard to be announcing information when they haven't made their famous "Announcement of the Announcement", it is your fault that you get disappointed when they don't meed that expectation, which was only set by you, not them.
Obviously, the only purpose of ''Cheering'' is to acquire the card back, that's why people CHEER, not to actually support the teams and you know that very well, stop pretending to be stupid, I know you aren't.
Same thing goes for blizzcon virtual ticket, there is literally no point in spending that kind of money for that unless you are a collector and are interested in whatever the goodies will be (haven't bought it yet btw, just eager to see what we will get because I am hoping we receive something nice this year)

Actually, Cheering is made with the purpose of support, it has been around for a while and used with that purpose all that time. But when it comes to those cheering teams in HGG, I do believe that to be their main goal. But fact still remains, what you are actually purchasing is the Bits themselves. Doesn't matter what your interest begin that purchase is, you should always remember that what you are buying is what is being presented to you when you make your purchase, not free rewards you get from it.
You can't call that a ''free'' reward because it's locked behind a paywall and you know it.
In that case, they are literally ''rewarding'' you with exclusive in game goodies in exchange of ''support'' which costs you money. Let's be real, nobody would support them if it wasn't for that card back.
In the end, I was disappointed that we have yet to receive news on those, even after 2 weeks. I'm aware that we should have news fairly soon though.

It is a free reward. You pay for X Good, you receive X Good, and they reward you additionally with Y Free Good. Just because you are required to pay for X Good doesn't remove the fact that Y Good was free to you, you didn't have to pay any additional cost or any cost at all for Y Good.
You can always look at it from different perspectives and think of X Good's price as the cost of Y Good, but the fact still remains, you paid X Good's price for X Good, and you were rewarded with Y Good.
It's like if I sell you something random, like say, Marvel Ice Cream. And I run a promotion, where if you buy a case of 50, I give you a free Marvel T-Shirt. You still paid and received the 50 Marvel Ice Creams, but you also happened to receive an extra for it. I hope this is clear enough.
The fact that you don't care about the Bits and supporting the Teams doesn't change the fact that what you bought were Bits, you bought that currency.
Except that bits are literally a currency that you need to pay for. You're literally converting your cash into bits.
Having to spend 2500 bits for an item is the equivalent of purchasing it. Doesn't matter if you have to go through some bullshit conversion beforehand.
The card back and packs from HGG aren't ''free rewards'' they are items awarded after you've spent a certain amount of bits.
I'm not really expecting anything in particular today or within a week, however, there are many things that a number of us could list offhand that Blizzard could implement within a fortnight that many of us look forward to.
I've learned not to expect very much from the HS team. After so much open feedback from Blizzard employees working on WoW and then coming to HS years ago I find the comparison very lacking.

I guess past history plays into it. I never played WoW (going in to do 20 levels and get the paladin skin was literally the first time I entered the game. Subscriptions and all that) so I'm used to Starcraft. Things weren't very fast or open there. I was actually impressed when Naxx came out on the day they announced it would.
As far as the topic at hand, Blizzard is always SLOW. They've been slow since the 90s at least and haven't really changed since then. It's something you have to accept from them, especially since they get downright horrible ("More horrible than now?" lululuuluulu) when they try to move fast.
Fact is, when Team 5 knows when something is going to come out, they will declare a date. So far, when that date is made, then you can expect it. If no date is declared, the BEST you can wish for is that they are currently working on it. That includes any declarations that don't have a formal date (i.e. "Summer" or "next 6 months").
I'm not saying to feel grateful or happy over it. But I am saying to not lose sleep or ruin your day over it. There's plenty of things to get into a fight for over this game (declaring no balance changes would be one). Release times is not going to be one of them. Might as well demand that Hearthstone's card art should be converted into an anime style.

1. No one cares. 2. No one forces you to play the game. 3. Go outdoor sometimes. 4. Get used to slow updates.
Well he has a point though .On their website and specifically on the "in the works" article ,it used to say that the new classic cards are coming next month and people thought it would be before 17 October in a pre hallow's end patch ,but now it says early November (in bold) .
Some nerfs like Patches took too long to arrive ,and things being promised like tournament mode got delayed .
But it's a bit understandable since they are planning ahead for 3 expansions on the least (according to ben brode 1 month before he left) ,monitoring the state of the game (meta,cards,bugs,hacks...etc) and implementing features and events into the game (brawls, fire festival, hallow's end, days of TFT...etc)

This.
This topic is written with a very spoiled attitude. "I expected, I am disappointed, I think Blizzard should care for my every need". It's nothing new Blizzard is slow to update things. Get used to it.

Look, I understand that you solely look at Bits as necessity to achieve the goal of receiving the free rewards from this current promotion, but that still doesn't remove the fact that this is not what Bits are. Bits are a currency made by Twitch to compete with alternative Donation systems that were used to support streamers. It was a way for them to drive donations into their own platform and not external platforms, since they didn't get benefits from users using those external platforms.
Bits, for all intents and purposes, are currency Twitch created for donations in their platform, they are not a currency to purchase goods. They set it all up to give you rewards if you make said donations, incentives to make the donations, but it is not a store in the way you imagine it to be.
Instead of thinking about it as a store, which is the way you look at it, look at it as a charity event. You have to spend the Bits to access those rewards, but they are still free rewards. You can use those Bits in other channels, but you are not going to get these rewards. They are free rewards if you spend those in this channel. You are making a donation. This channel happens to give you these rewards for donating, while others might not give you rewards, or might give you different ones.
I just have to assume that you actually never donated money to any cause whatsoever. Nothing wrong with that, but maybe it would help to understand this. Bits are a donation system, not a store...
It doesn't matter if you call it a donation, you still have to spend your cash to get the item. You HAVE to purchase bits. In the case that you're only interested in buying bits to buy a specific item with it, it's the equivalent of buying an item at a charity auction, even though technically speaking you are supposed to ''donate'' in charity events, items are deemed as SOLD at the auction, you don't donate for them, which goes against the bullshit you're trying to make me believe.
Now you're gonna tell me''Well but the money you're giving is still a donation'' alright, but it doesn't change the fact that X item selling for X amount of donation is the same fucking thing as selling an item in a store. In the HGG case, people are CLEARLY and undeniably ''DONATING'' in exchange of a virtual item, the card back. No matter how you try to twist it, I view that as buying the card back for 2500 bits, no matter what you say you're not going to change my mind because you are illogical to think otherwise.

I am holding my breath until I get Sir Annoy-o.
If I turn blue, it will be on Blizzard’s conscience.

Did the same with tournement mode. #nomoreoxygenforme
Actually, based on your rate of posting since June of this year, you will easily overtake DiamondDM13 in short order.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.

This is a very toxic thread
To a minimal degree, I'm with OP.

To the future.
Come visit my Card Emporium. Strange things, you will find inside...
Come take the test, if you're daring. Feel free to show me your results in a message.
