Stop lying to yourselves, folks, if you're stuck at ranks 5-3 and can never get higher (assuming you're trying hard to climb) that means you aren't as good as the players who consistently get to Legend every month.
It's not just a matter of time, your skills / knowledge of the meta and game mechanics makes a huge difference.
Also, if you've been Legend once or twice and you can't get there anymore, that doesn't make you Legend level either.
Also keep in mind that's there's a huge disparity within the Legend ranks. You have those who barely make it near the end and those who can do it within a week of reset & the ones fighting over top 100. Keep in mind that the longer it takes you, the lower the quality of players you'll be facing.
There you go, I broke it down for you guys, no more Rank 5 = Legend please.
Well in all honesty the rank of a player doesn't always represent the player's skill.
Hearthstone isn't that difficult once you reach a certain level of knowledge. The rest is all about picking the right deck at the right time, RNG and grind.
That's actually true. I don't know how you can have any illusions about this. Just open once some stream of a pro-player - like someone who gets top points and championship invites and listen how they think about the game. Compare that to your game. Now you know.
I'm myself go slowly to legend between 15th and 30th date. No rush, no grinding, no high skill. I like getting better at the game and at different decks. I really enjoy it. But I don't stand a chance of anyone from top500.

It is common knowledge though. If you hit Legend several times you know that there is gap between Legend players and consistent rank 5. Why did you create a thread where you describe that you are tired by this, if the only thing that you will accomplish is bringing back that topic?

Says person who trully have no clue about 2-3 turns ahead. It's like saying "chess is easy - you learn how pieces move - after that it's just grind". No, it's not. Great players do amazing hand reads, perfect analysis, juggling variations and making it to the top. That's why there's so much same names in a lot of championships. Cause they ARE better. Game has impressive depth.
Player who hits legend once - player who hits rank 5 consitently is the same
Player who hits legend consistently is likely better than consistwnt rank 5 person...
But as always there are nuances within this and the consistent legend player could easily be worse than a guy who is happy for the month and quits at 5, not like there arent enough viable braindead decks out there
I mean, I assume this is just a bragging thread. Not even a humble bragging one either but rather a douchy one.
In all my years in hearthstone I have never heard anyone equate rank 5 to Legend. The closest similarity is the 'dad-legend' meme.
Unless you consistently place in top 100 Legend I genuinely don't think you or anyone else for that matter has the right to lecture others on skill divide in accordance to rank.

There are opinions that are popping up sometimes like: "I've could archieve Legend rank, but I don't want to. I want to sit at rank 5 and enjoy my meme decks,, But we both know Gunnolf that Legend can be archieved even with a well build meme decks and stuff ;D. So yeah, OP is kinda right that there are some differences between Legend players and always rank 5 players(at least I haven't seen anyone missplaying at 1,2 ranks compared to 5th one.. However I don't think that he should dedicate thread to it.
You have definitely won a lot of games against top 50 people on your server if you play some.
it comes down to choice of deck mostly. And piloting your choice without mistakes. I get legend on the subway some times even though I make mistake cuz I’m stupid or someone call me or I lag out in a tunnel. I’m not a good player. I have 9 k wins in ranked. But I have yet to reach legend with thief rogue :). Depends on how serious you are
Honestly, rank 10 to legend are all relatively the same. Streamers who hit legend every month are different as they do it for a living and play 1,000s of more hours than the normal player. I have legend friends and rank 20 friends and the skill difference is negligible.
No they're not.

Uh...ok.
Is this thread just you just bragging about how you got legend?
Unpopular opinion: Rogue is OP
When you create a thread with a question that you answer yourself:

Top deck is cheat
But but i beat people with legend cardback...
That's nothing. I beat people with the default / classic cardback...

If you weren't a rank 20 player, you wouldn't be posing a question that Legend players should B answering to Rank 5 players.
Nice Microsoft paint skillz by the way on your fake number of wins and rank.
I'd interpret that as you're probably the oldest..

they're the old ones... (my first ranked cardback was Tinyfin Beach)
seriously though you still get people using that cardback. I think they like to show that they are OG's.

There is a huge, huge world of difference between Rank 5, Rank 3 and Bottom Legend players.
