Something with Battlecry: Silence your opponent's weapon. I am sick and tired of seeing Kingsbane stink up the game, and I am more than happy with seeing a card that punishes players for overcommiting to a strategy.
I've been thinking about the same thing, but the more I do the more I realize that it can't really be done now. I feel like they should have gone with weapon silence in the first place, rather than destruction. At least that way all those 0-1 Attack weapons can still be buffed again in some way, instead of having one single over-costed card to bring it back after being destroyed.
I hope they make legendary spells just so you can break it with my glorious / brilliant combo Lorewalker Cho + Azalina Soulthief and then Shadowstep to cast infinte copies of the spell muahaha
I'm hoping for a neutral legendary with the text of: Battlecry: Trigger a friendly character's battlecry. This would be a "smaller" version of Shudderwock, and has good synergy with hero-cards or really good legendaries (Galvadon, Priest Quest reward etc)
Another neutral legendary minion would be "Battlecry: Destroy and remove a minion and all copies of it from both hands and decks". This is possibly weak in constructed.
Im going to predict a minion or spell for druids, which will say something like "Trigger both Choose One effects this turn" or just the next card.
For mechanic, Im also thinking like "Put ... on top of your deck" or "you can also play the top card from your deck".
Im predicting "worse" hunter spells and pack-filler beasts to indirectly nerf Spell-hunter and Deathstalker Rexxar.
Also hoping for new hero-cards, Legendary Weapons, and quests.

So, in HS a card would be Recruited from your deck if condition is met. Fantasy Example: Dragon Cuddle - At the start of your next turn, if you control a dragon recruit Jesus Drake; Jesus Drake- At the start of your next turn, if you control Drake destroy your opponent's headphones ;
I'm hoping for viable cards to enable these archetypes in standard:
Control Hunter (need more cards to help survive early - like lifesteal, and make Emeriss a viable win condition)
Burgle Rogue (need a way to survive mirror matchups - more Cauldron-like cards)
Deathrattle Rogue (need more non-crap deathrattle cards)
Druid builds that can make use of the garbage legendaries they gave him in WItchwood
I would also like to see the following:
Something that makes Dorian worth it, it seemed like a very cool card but the mana cost makes it gimmicky
Something that help resurrect dominated archetypes in wild (C'Thun anything is basically dead, maybe a card or two that can synergize with old archetypes)
Well, the theme seems to be around the Ethereals, and their signature thing in WoW is to hunt down magical artifacts, and run trade operations. So I think that, thematically, we may get a bunch of artifacts and artifact-generating cards, a bit like Arch-Thief Rafaam, who also happens to be an Ethereal.
Mechanically, potentially a Steal/Discover revamp? Or maybe a Flying mechanic called Portal, which would be like bypassing taunts? Hard to think what else could be thematic, that hasn't already been done.

Since its probably going to be magic themed, I think(hope) spell hunter will get some support. Also hoping for a Dirty Rat-like card soon.

I'm getting a Dalaran vibe from that 2nd expansion logo. Maybe we'll get some sort of enchantments and dispells/modified silences?

Also we're going to see some more sleeper cards like The Darkness or the 10/10 sleeper dragon from Taverns of time.
