First play the two Mountain Moonkins and the Jungle Moonkin. Then dump the remaining spells.
Moonfire: 1+2 damage, grants +2 Attack with 2x my card -> 5 damage each, 10 damage with both.
Living Roots: 2+2 damage, grants +2 Attack with 2x my card-> 6 damage each, 12 damage with both.
Claw: basic effect grants +2 Attack, grants +2 more Attack with 2x my card -> 4 damage each, 8 damage with both.
10+12+8 = 30. Perfect lethal. 14 damage from spells and 16 damage from your hero's attack. Cost exactly 10 mana for 2-mana version and 7 mana with Thaurissan for the 3-mana version.
Variations of this combo probably exists (notably with Innervate) but this one works.
This card is generally weaker than Flamewaker but flamewaker is arguably OP and my card has the beast tag.
Now what I wonder is which version should I submit ? The 2 mana one or the 3 mana one ?
Comments on other cards on page 5:
Shaman of Chaos: I like it! The combo works but the effect is also useful outside the combo. That said with face shaman being a thing I'm not sure people will like it.
Ceaseless Anger and Limitless Power: No, please. Both of them can easily be abused and warrior & mage are classes that can easily assemble an OTK.
Feedback: First, the wording: I would say "Deal damage to the enemy hero equal to twice your number of Overloaded Mana Crystals". The effect itself is too powerful in many circumstances imo and could restrict design space. Also, as said before, people don't like face shamans.
Totemic Explosion: Well, you're right, this is broken. With a single totem this is a Mind Blast (and obtaining a totem is not difficult for shaman). With two, this is already too much. Shamans will kill all their opponents before turn 8 with this.
Pursuer's Blade: Blade Flurry was nerfed for a reason, and this is a strictly better pre-nerf Blade Flurry.
Spymaster Thalodien: The effect is too far-fetched and is clearly useless outside of the combo. Simplicity is better.
Soul Absorption does not follow the rules, you can't assume you will get this from Spellslinger. The cards should stay within one class.
To give some Feedback aswell: I don't like that many submissions are only playable as combo-cards and are bad standalone. Cards in Hearthstone are rarely designed that way, so it would be unlikly to get implemented.
It will be disqualified because you're assuming that Soulfire will discard Fist of Jaraxxus (implies you should have no other cards in your hand) and that the fist will target the enemy hero (implies your opponent's board must be empty).
The spell itself is not bad but it is a simple damaging spell so it's not very interesting mechanically speaking.
The combo is you equip Pursuer's Blade, summon Southsea Deckhand then cast two Tinker's Sharpsword Oil and Deadly Poison. At this point you have 10 attack weapon and 8 attack minin with charge. You hit the opponent's face deal 10 damage and with Pursuer's Blade deathrattle you will deal another 10 damage then attack with with Southsea Deckhand to add 8 damage. You now deal 28 damage and you can finish it off with Eviscerate to the the opponent's face to deal total 32 damage.
Tell me what you guys think about this card and combo. Your feedback is appreciated.
You'll better attack with your pirate first or you're in for a surprise ;)
Oh! Thanks for the warning. If I attack with the weapon first then Southsea Deckhand will lose its charge. I will edit the combo before submitting it.
It's not really a combo card . . . but it's more like the rest of your deck just needs to keep you healthy. So the rest of your deck is combo pieces.
I'm not all that sure about this card - it's basically an instawin on turn 9 if you have more health than the other guy, which is kinda awkward. Also, does your armour count as 'health', or is it treated separately? I'd also change the name to something shorter.
While I'm at it, does anyone have any feedback on my submission?
The combo is basically 'use Divine Spirit x2 + Inner Fire on a big minion and play this to make them go face (requires empty board).'
4) You can't give a card that could be substituted for another that already exists. For example, if the only role your card plays is being 0-mana (as in the Wisp combo above) then it doesn't count.
Wait would that disqualify the first submission, since you can do a similiar combo with Stormwind Knight and another PW:S in place of Wisp/Purify/Unicorn (Stormwind Knight -> PW:S -> PW:S -> Divine Spirit -> Divine Spirit -> Inner Fire)?
Also what will the finalist thread look like? Will the combo explanations be included?
Shadowword Insanity looks kinda like "Windfury on all things" to me, except it screws you over against zoo? Can't really be combo'd with its cost and the effect doesn't really warrant the cost either, especially in a deck that struggles to get on the board like priest. What it does is guarantee that your minions can trade, I'd say. So there's that, but I don't see it being a viable combo if you can't clear the board in the same turn. Would be good in token decks maybe though, if the cost was like 2 or 3, maybe even with a cantrip effect. (Specifying the attack order would also be important. If your enemies attack first, and into your buffed minion, it makes the combo a lot easier for example)
Note: It's not 'all your minions', it's ALL minions, including your opponent's. The idea is to get their own minions to kill each other while you sit back with an empty board and watch the carnage. I'd assume that the attacks are conducted in the order that the minions are summoned in, meaning your opponent's minions will usually attack first. The point of this card is not a combo - it's a way to punish your opponent for playing too much stuff.

No, armor is not health. Just as alexstrazsa doesn't affect armor, this would not be affected by armor.
Idk why everyone is making divine spirit inner fire combos. There's already an OTK that doesn't even require thaurissan with Gnomeregan Infantry, Power Word: Shield x2, Divine Spirit x2, Inner Fire. And if you already had a minion with 4 or more health, you don't need infantry. And even if it does'[t have 4 health, you could just replace gnomer with Velen's Chosen. I guess if you want to play in standard for some reason, you could also just play a strangle thorn on the previous turn.
You can change a couple of cards for the combo to get the same effect. But this way it costs 10 mana to deal 40 damage (mega windfury 3 x 10 damage and even get rid of a big taunt minion).
The Golden One also fits the Paladin theme with the 2 ragnaroses!! and Y'Shaarj etc. Could be a nice deck!!
I see a lot of cards that are basically only playable for the combo. I thought I had a good chance with my entry because it is actually usable in some decks, but so far only 2 likes. Can someone please give some feedback so I can do better next time?
I'm guessing @Crawsushi might win the whole thing, his Berserking Elite is quite good, I must say, even if it is a rival on my page T_T
The "1 turn deal 30 damage" cards do not bother me as much as cards that simply do not follow the rules of the competition (even more so if they get any votes)...
If any mods can answer, how do they deal with the invalid entries? Will the posts be deleted (completely removed from the thread so there will be less 0-vote submissions on a given page) or will they be disqualified but stay on the page (so we'll have 10 instead of 20 entries per page for example)?
Well, as a Warrior you'd have cards like that, no? On the contrary, compared to other stuff (including mine), it seems more likely to be a real card in HS, to me at least.
I'm gonna leave it at that, the card has a significant advantage over mine already :D

New idea
(a.k.a. 'Attackwaker')
The combo involves 2x Mountain Moonkin, its cousin Jungle Moonkin (only one is needed), 2x Moonfire, 2x Living Roots and 2x Claw (9 cards). Emperor Thaurissan is needed.
First play the two Mountain Moonkins and the Jungle Moonkin. Then dump the remaining spells.

Ok for the board state thing, but your combo still assumes RNG will be in your favor and you can"t assume that even if the odds are on your side.

I stopped participating in these competitions and decided to try again.
but then I saw this card with 76 likes
I now understand why did I stop creating.
question: if it's a non-legendary card, can you use both copies in your combo?
This is becoming ridiculous, almost every other submission is ineligible...

I like to make cards and discuss game balance.
I enjoy when "No similar decks were found."
