The Gate of the Setting Sun was created to stop the Mantid swarm, so it seemed fitting to make it into a flood hindering card. It's a symmetrical effect though, so you have to build your deck accordingly or play with the effect in mind.
Based on the Gem Boutiques that you can get in Garrisons (through my quick browsing of the internet, a WoW nerd I am not), I figured the best way to capture this essence in Hearthstone would be to have them craft you some high-quality (well, high rarity, anyway) cards to pick from.
The first line of card text (following on from the likes of Lightspawn) was to ensure that I could create a minion with high Health that wouldn't lead to broken Priest combos - or any Attack buffing class, really. And it makes sense that a building could never attack, anyway.
Lots of combo potential with cards applying buffs to neighboring cards, like Dire Wolf Alpha. Also can be used defensively to avoid spells like Cone of Cold.
For non-WoW players, the Deeprun Tram is an underground transportation system between Stormwind and Ironforge.
EDIT - Forgot about shadow step and that basically breaks this card but upped the cost anyway to compensate. Made the joust more descriptive, removed non-damage. Still breaking rules aplenty. ;D
Hey all!. Yes I'm taking liberties with the term 'Joust' but we all know what i means so I'm going with it :D just seems fun and would suit a control style. might backfire vs other mid-r/c with a BoM, but might save yr bacon with corruption/humility/swd.
It's more of a location than a structure, but I guess it still counts, right? Anyways, I think this card could be good with aggro or token decks, just so you can buff 'em up later. Notice that this is a neutral card that gives access to a class-specific card (which isn't entirely new). Why does it have 1 Attack? Well, that's because it's underground, and being underground doesn't really spell safety, doesn't it?
I'm a big fan of things where there's always a way around it (think rock, paper, scissors) and as such I'm a big fan of situational cards, like Acidic Ooze, where sometimes they are super useful but sometimes you just end up with a small creature. These kinds of cards keep the meta lively and that keeps the entertainment value high because decks are constantly changing. This submission is an attempt to create one of those situational cards that provides a lot of value against one kind of deck, but still has some value when you encounter decks of any type.
In the world I envision, minions of type "Wall" can never attack.
So my idea behind this card was to add some extra potential to ramp Druid but also make some other cards more playable as well(buff cards).
Good combination card with buff cards like Mark of the Wild and so on. Another plus is the "threat" it applies for opponents board clears. Make you think twice. I'm happy with the result since it feels like it's rightful theme.
Servant of Yogg travel brawl revived! With some RNG, Zoo and Aggro deck cannot reach you, by the time control mage will have stabilized and do the control mage things.
It's a little on the complex side of things and I struggled a little bit with the wording on the town hall, but I thought it was an interesting concept.
This represents the Barn building from the garrison. The Horde garrison in Frostwall, to be exact. In WoW, the Barn allows you to bring in Beasts to get materials for Leatherworking, Tailoring, and Cooking. The Armor you get represents that armorcrafting aspect.
As a Hearthstone card, the card is an inefficient draw and heal in general. However, if you can activate the Beast trigger, it becomes quite efficient. You can run it with a lot of Beasts, or just combo it with Unleash the Hounds, although you won't be able to do that until turn 7+. Either way, it would help in Hunter Beast decks.

You can find me here! Good luck everyone!
Also does well in non-murloc decks.

Guess who played orc in WC3... and guess who's really bad at uploading pictures.
Not sure if a 3/5 is too much better than a 3/1 charge most of the time.

Great for dealing with those ANNOYING buildings everywhere

Upgraded Tower:
It's simple. Just take the hydraulic phase shift emulator, and attach it to the transdimensional photon particle emitter. Bam! New tower.
Previlage leads to insolence.

Control mage's dream card (?)
Servant of Yogg travel brawl revived! With some RNG, Zoo and Aggro deck cannot reach you, by the time control mage will have stabilized and do the control mage things.
Or..... Zoo and Aggro deck can kill you in turn 4
So nobody ever responded to my question in the Discussion thread about "summon Gnomes", so I went with something a little less ambitious.
Still pretty ambitious though. Who says a building couldn't be represented as a weapon?
Gnomeregan Infantry
The card would obviously be revealed from hand if proc'd that way.
