Warrior in general, plus various builds of control Warlock, Paladin, Mage. Warrior just has so many good board clearing tools right now, it's easy to hold on to double-digit life and then swing back for the win.
Prepare for a fairly steep learning curve compared to Hearthstone. Each turn has 9 phases, you can do things on your opponent's turn, creatures can do things besides just simply attack, the "stack" takes a while for some to really understand... but it's a wonderful game once you get the hang of it!
I'm going to my 3rd Magic Grand Prix in just a few weeks, way excited for it!
Surprised this archetype isn't getting more experimentation. I recently spent a week or two brewing this Odd Shudderwock deck and am absolutely loving it. Can win handily at rank 10.
I made a fun Vex Crow deck with zero secrets, almost entirely basic cards plus some new fun stuff. The only non-class card is Thalnos I think. It takes some flexing to the meta, but they got some really fun stuff.
I play casually in ranks 10-15, and it's flooded with Kingsbane Rogue, Odd Paladin, Shudderwock, Control Lock, and Big Priest. Occasionally you see an actual Warrior or Hunter and it just makes your day a little brighter.
Kobold Librarian - "Battlecry: Draw a card. Deathrattle: Discard that card."
The Caverns Below - This card is just a mess over all. I don't know what to say about it that wouldn't completely change the design from the bottom up.
Currently cruising through rank 5 with this list. I would consider subbing out one Witchwood Piper and Rotface if you want to make it even more competitive.
Im thinking Darius and Town Crier are going to be safe crafts - its either trying to make this work or going back to wild and doing pirates to get the wins... Getting rush to work though would be satisfying ...
If I'd had this deck when I was trying to get my golden Warrior, it would've been so much more enjoyable.
Grommash is a safe craft since he's in the Classic set, Darius and Town Crier are solid and will be around for two full years. I expect more Rush cards to come out in the future too.
Shot from rank 13 to 7 in no time with this deck. Very fun, and you can swap out Rotface for something else, he's just there for fun. Also surprised at how good Rummaging Kobold is as a one-of.
For anyone interested in trying this deck, yes, Town Crier is a must, and yes, I really do encourage using Witchwood Piper.
Be aware that Town Crier really is a must-craft for this deck. I tried several games without it at first, saw potential, but was ultimately disappointed. Crafted 2x and the deck flies way better.
Rotface and Ebon Dragonsmith are the only two "maybe" cards right now, but Rotface is just so fun when it goes off.
Got a spare Rummaging Kobold in your collection that never sees play? Toss it in here for solid value!

Malygos. Maybe some others like Prep, Doomguard, even the lowly Freezing Trap, but I'd really like to see Malygos get the heck outta here.

Wow, I really didn't expect this deck to be so fun. By no means top-tier, but Rush Warrior with a Dragon theme attached to it is surprisingly good.

Holy cow is this card amazing. If you didn't get them in your packs, craft two of them and never look back. Goes into nearly any minion-based deck.
