I can't think of a single card in the game that singlehandedly inspired as many new and interesting decks as Reno Jackson. Pretty much the only reason people come on here to complain about it is because they were playing aggro and they feel like an opponent's Reno stole a game from them which has always struck me as pathetic.
This is a new low though, not even a vague attempt to explain or justify their position; just a clearly pointless request which Blizzard will likely never see.
I am only aware of one Reno build. You use Reno to heal (possibly more than once) and outlast your opponent. Is there some other use of Reno that I am missing? Nothing against Reno, is just saying that he opened the door to 'many new and interesting decks' is a stretch.

I like control decks but don't care for Reno, although after the giants nerf, he has moved from one of my most hated cards in the game to one I just roll my eyes at the 1/20 games I see him. I'm sure it's very satisfying when an aggro player rage quits; but I would like blizzard to just print some standard heal and removal that doesn't require a deck-building gimmick.
In general, the design direction for control is extremely frustrating to me. The entire archetype is built around one of two legendaries, both of which force you to build an entire deck around them - Reno and C'thun. I really enjoyed Elise priest pre-rotation - pure control with a good solution for late game without having to build your entire deck around it. I also generally like N'zoth Pally even though N'zoth is arguably in the same class as Reno and C'thun. I suppose the difference is control decks would already be running many of the key N'zoth cards (Sylv, Tirion).
So there are people who want to remove Reno Jackson instead of 4 mana 7/7 and Entomb...wow
entomb? What? I've started taking the second copy of entomb out of some of my priest decks because it is completely useless against 90% of the meta and it's impact against control is horribly overstated as it's just hard removal in all but fatigue match-ups.
Let me guess. OP is face shaman, hunter or warlock?
Shaman (face), Hunter and Zoolock are extremely favored against Renolock. So I hope he isn't. I think he plays Dragon Warrior because Reno Warlock is one counter.
Utterly pathetic post OP - go post your whining elsewhere, no-one cares about your terrible opinion when you offer no arguement. I hope this card stays in the standard rotation forever. The reason for this is the same reason/s you so eloquently put for him to be removed.
I hope both Reno and Bran become part of standard. Without doubt some of the coolest legendaries released. Apart from Loatheb who may be gone but is most definitely not forgotten.
Why would anyone EVER want reno removed?? Because he only works in decks that run--primarily-- one of's, he ensures cards that probably never see play actually get played. The deck diversity he creates can't be compared and I hope they move him to classic, even though I know there's no chance of that...
I hope they don't. I hate facing a reno deck, but then if he was gone, it would be one less thing that can destroy me and less of a challenge. I vote Reno stays.
another aggro tard with shaman zoo and hunt in pool get mad
maybe try to actually play the game and outsmart your opponent instead of grinding gold with the same deck forever

Completely useless complaint, reno is one of the best stabilizing anti-agro cards in the game currently.

He's the primary reason why I run Alexstraza right now.

While this card drives me crazy some games when it's used against me I don't think it should be removed.

Why people are even allowed to create threads like this?

It is funny that one topic is to remove reno jackson and the other one to make it into classic expansion lol
Just remember the good times!
TAUNT AND HEAL IS CHEAT SMORC!
It's totally a coincidence Kappa
