No, Blackrock will still be around. Blackrock, The Grand Tournament and League of Explorers will rotate out of standard once the first expansion comes out in 2017. Until then we have Karazhan and most likely another full expansion.
I think the easiest way to explain this is as follows. Let's assume that his Molten Giants are the only card he has 2 of. Reno's battlecry is enabled when there is only one copy of each card remaining in the deck. Once you draw a card it is no longer in the deck because it's in your hand. Therefore as long as you have drawn one or both of your molten Giants, Reno will heal you. Reno will only not work if both copies of Molten have yet to be drawn.
I would pick Sylvannas if given only those two options. The reason is because Sylvannas does create some tempo because it's a serious threat that has to be immediately dealt with. Cairne on the other hand, is a loss of tempo the turn you play him. Cairne is obviously extremely good value and because of that is almost like a "win more" card in a tempo style deck while Sylvannas can help you retake the board if you get behind.
I go through spurts like this as well where no matter what I do, I can't win very often. I usually just stop playing for the rest of the day, or even a few days and usually when I come back I find that my win rate is much much higher.
Tempostorm actually did a tournament like this in February I believe where they used a pack open simulator specifically designed for that purpose. It was really interesting to watch. They still have their simulator available on their website if you want to try it out.
It seems like you want to try a slightly different version of what they did, however, so I'll be interested to see your setup once you perfect it!
I got the pack immediately after getting through the tutorial on the new account I made. Then I only had to play one game with each class to get to level 2 and that gets you most of the way there. The entire process took about an hour.

Blizzard is having technical issues at the moment, so try it again a little later and you should be fine.

Blizzard has tweeted that they are aware of the issue and are trying to fix it.
