The more decent weapon cards added to a class, the more consistently good they become in Arena. This probably won't see play in current iterations of Paladin though for the same reason why Warrior can't fit any more weapons than 2x Fiery War Axe and 2x Death's Bite. With 2x Muster for Battle, 2x Truesilver Champion and even Ashbringer, one would have a hard time finding uses for all the excess charges.

Decent card! It is not a card that will be used in anything else but a control pala cause of the effect. It cannot be played in a deck where muster for battle or knife juggler will be played. I think it will see play in a new type of pala. (Control or Dragon maybe?)
I dont like the rng reveal mechanic. Basically it punishes original decks that are based off of surprise damage. For example, if someone has Velen revealed you will know he is running mind blasts.

With 132 new cards, getting a weapon will be even harder, so u might be actually very greatful for stupid 2/2 tbh, but yes, it will all depend on your draft.
Whoever said it should be 3/1 is so right. Would be great because Paladin would finally have a way to deal 3 damage, yet it would still be worse than Warrior's Fiery War Axe since the 2nd durability is RNG.
Even a 2/2 with a chance to gain +1 attack from the new Reveal mechanic would be ok. Though a 3/1 with a chance to gain +1 durability would still be better, at least we would have a possibilty of dealing 3.
Well then, if TGT is 8 cards per class like GvG, so far we've got one good card, Eadric the Pure. And unfortunatly one bad one in Argent Lance.
Argent lance really isn't that bad guys. In a Joustadin deck it doesn't count as a minion and can still control the early game threats like knife juggler.
Great Arena card, probably won't be run in Constructed.
Paladin is such a heavy Weapon based class already. Muster for Battle, Truesilver Champion, Coghammer, Ashbringer, and now Argent Lance? That's kinda baffling how many weapons they get that are usable.
Time for molten giant holy wrath paladin to come back!
Okay, now I kinda see why this weapon was made.
Paladin's that will be running the Joust mechanic will probably have late game focused decks. But Shielded Minibot is so good it is run in every deck for a reason. This weapon is a slightly worse Shielded Minibot, but it doesn't count as a minion so you win Jousts more often.
Cool card. Not only does it handle early game decently (especially aggro decks), but it gives useful information about your opponent's deck turn 2.
Weapons are NOT a good way to handle aggro, especially if you're not warrior. I play a wolfrider, hit you for 3 then by all means use that 2/3 axe to take 3 more.
Weapons are an amazing way for both Paladin and Warrior to deal with aggro. A 2/3 weapon trade very efficiently against a 3/1 (It meets the range requirement to kill the minion and removes a 3 attack threat).
But weapons only work with classes that can heal and armor their face to compensate (Paladin has big minions that healface, and has the modular mana cost "Holy Light" spell that allows it to compete against aggro (I run x1 copy of it currently, works very well when apired up with my high mana cost burst heals like Antique Healbot, GoK, & Lay on hands).
Not sure if a 2/3 weapon would compete, but I'd definitely like to try making it work as a one of (Since this is meant to function as early removal and nothing else).
Heck you can even run this along with "Seal of Light" if you like that better than "Holy Light".
Great card. Fairly niche to be anti-aggro but a 2 for 2/2 with no downside is pretty good in and of itself. Obviously people want Fiery War Axe for Paladin, but that's a Warrior thing and should stay that way. A 2/2 with the Joust upsisde of making it a 3/2 would have been interesting but probably a little too powerful and auto-include in all Paladin decks. With only a 30 card deck, there should be variety, not more 'must plays'.

It'a not competetive to the other weapons. Won't use.

A 2-2-3 weapon? Definitely not attractive.

3/1 makes more sense if it's a lance.

the 2 mana spot is reserved for shielded minibot.. :S

Hey Shaman, I heard you like Stormforged axes, So we put a Stormforged axe without a drawback into a Paladin and gave it no overload.
Wait what?
