I feel like he is a little bit too strong. In terms of value, he is simply better the other 4 mana neutral minions, which makes it an autopick in most decks. He is played in almost all Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Shaman, Druid and Zoo decks. We start to see him in Rogue and Warrior and I even saw Amaz starting to use it in Priest.
I don't like that. His stats and deathrattle ability are just a little bit too strong for his mana cost. Autopick shouldn't exist imo, at least not for neutral cards, it removes the deck building creativity aspect from the game and remove the viability of other minions at the same mana cost.
Moreover, race cards (beast, demon, mech, ...) should have a slight downside, because of the potential synergy. This card has simply no downside from being a mech.
A lot of people don't even know about what card is the best between the Yeti and this card.
I think Piloted Shredder is better but that doesn't mean it's a card that should be nerfed. It is played by a lot of decks, so they are in some way with same weapons… There is some equity there.
Ancient Watcher. useless if you lack a silence of taunt giver Doomsayer, as mentioned before though there are times when you are hoping for that yourself, Explosive Sheep, another like doomsayer that could help you but typically it screws you over Lorewalker Cho can both win you and lose you games depending on what your deck is. Mana Wraith could screw you over heavily if you hadn't summoned your minions yet and end up not being able to do the proper setup. could help you too.
ive lost games purely because i got one of these out of it. it can be viewed as a risk reward card.
people like you are the reason why blizzard players cant have nice things, you and all the babies who complain about new content needing a nerf get the entire community to cry about things that can be countered because you dont want to look closer at the options available to you in the game, seriously unless the card just has zero way to be played around then these threads only serve to make everyone else's gaming experience more annoying and irritating
Stupid threads like that are getting out of control. It's like everytime someone is salty about a card they're gonna assume it's OP and need a nerf. I don't even understand the reasoning of this, how people aren't able to enjoy something whitout the need to f*ing change everything. This forum need a rule about nerf threads.

This is what happens when a card gets nerfed. Everyone throws out their 2 cents about the next nerf. Fortunately they have no ally in Blizzard. It took months of complaining to get the last nerf and that is how it should be, considering that the nerf failed to do anything but boost mech mage at the expense of hunter.

That's true, I never see Hunters on the ladder… hum hum… When two classes are making 70% of my games around ranks 10-5, it's that something is problematic.
Undertaker nerf does show that if you whine loud enough and often enough, that they may eventually give in. Even if it isn't good for the game.
Killed deathrattle priest and deathrattle hunter.
Undertaker was broken. Blizzard dev team are not a bunch of tards' that can't figure out the OPness behind a card that lack counterplay by the fact it was played as the ''Mulligan'' standard drop for any aggro deck.
On the other hand... Piloted Shredder is fine. It's a overbudgeted card... but it comes with a slow deployment of this overbudget value. Stickinness traded for slow impact.

You can't be serious, I haven't seen a Chillwind Yeti in constructed since GvG, the fact that Piloted Shredder is being used over alternative class 4 drops like Water Elemental and Fireguard Destroyer is a pretty clear indication the card is really good, if not too good for the game. It's like the Undertaker of 4 drops, and far less commital on deck construction because you can just throw it into any deck and it's at the top of the power curve for it's mana cost.
Undertaker was nerfed out of the game. It also wasn't 'broken' just annoying if it grew too much.
Anyways nerf threads need to stop. Blizzard has its team of pros that thoroughly test things, and most people who ask for nerfs suck at the game and want to blame something else for their losses.
I don't feel it strong. You can trade 1-1 with it more often than not, thus, I usually don't even waste a silence on it. It is a solid 4-drop but very, very far from OP.
The only problem I see is when in long games 4 shredders get played. 2 from each player. And the one with the best minions wins the game. It has happend to me a few times to much. I dont mind RNG, but sometimes it gets abit to obvious....
A major part of fun in Hearthstone is using a wide variety of cards and synergize or use combos, right? Well Piloted Shredder takes away from this. My point is that other 4 drop cards, especially the new TGT 4 drops will not be played simply because Piloted Shredder is better. Its 4 attack can wipe many 4 drops out and if not the 2 drop deathrattle can finish the job. And everyone is like: "If an enemy is going to be using it, then I should too" instead of making a fun synergized deck with the upcoming TGT cards. If this was nerfed or removed there would be more creativity and fun in Hearthstone which is what everyone wants right?
If you were to nerf Piloted Shredder what would you change? I would change the attack to 3 or atleast make it a 3/4 not a 4/3 as it cannot trade or leave most other 4 drops on 1 health.
Please hear me out because it worries me that hearthstone's new cards will not effect the ranked decks or even the normal modes decks at all.
In my current decks I can't justify using any 4 drop over piloted shredder, the only card that competes is a mage class card (water ele). Even Flame guard doesn't compete with shredder as its not only harder to remove but doesn't cause overload.
After seeing the 4 drops in the expansion, i will still never run another 4 drop outside of piloted shredder unless it's for support (Defender of Argus, perhaps gnomish for draw and ect.). Sorry Heckler, but your punishment for killing Booty Bay is never seeing the light of play outside unstable portal/sky golem/mulch/ect.
*Edit* There are plenty of threads on this topic and many seam to agree there's an abundance of this guy pretty much every where, even in control heavy decks or full aggro. However Blizzard is very reluctant to ever change cards, pretty much ever so unless we see only shredder perhaps in 6 months we might see a change (likely an overnerf like every other changed card [Buzzard, tinkmaster, pagle, leeroy], he'll probably end up as a 3/2 or a 2/3. Exceptions do apply like sylvanis and defender of argus so there's some hope, a 3/4 shredder or deathrattle: Summon a 1 drop would be a great change.) Let's be realistic though, he will probably never see any change as he's not as utterly dominant as miracle rogue or undertaker. Even if he's likely in 2/3 of all decks that's still not enough, Chillwind Yeti bears a grudge though, I can tell in his angry face, even when he turned himself into a mech it wasn't enough to beat this shredder chump.

Doomsayer Huge downside even if it only rarely happens

No, Piloted Shredder do not shouldn't be nerfed.

Yes I hate the constant RNG and losing because my opponent gets a Mad Scientist out of it as a tempo mage, or because it summons a fking Doomsayer.
Piloted Shredder is probably the most frustrating card in the game.
The pioneers used to ride these babies for miles
Undertaker nerf does show that if you whine loud enough and often enough, that they may eventually give in. Even if it isn't good for the game.

It was completely broken as a card though and was rightfully nerfed. If anything that nerf should have come much sooner.

Top tier 4 drop. I consider it much better than yeti when played on curve as it is harder to remove. Also it easily goes two for one.
The only nerf I would ever see it getting would be making the deathrattle drop 1 manacost instead of 2.
