I knew it was a mistake to print direct counter cards for Pirate warrior rather than nerfing the deck and balancing it out. Not many decks are running the counters because their simply isn't space for them and secondly even if you have the crab you will still need to draw it in your first 3-4 turns.
Better players make less mistakes which means they are a higher rank. It really is as simple as that. The only other way to improve your rank than playing optimally is by staying ahead of the meta and making new tech choices to counter the changing meta.
Thank you for the deck, I didn't quite manage the 80% win rate on EU but i came close enough with a 71% win rate after 23 games to make the final push before season end for rank 5.
I replaced a Belcher with Elise starseeker because I really felt against other control decks that this lacked the end game to win. In hindsight Belcher was probably a bad replacement but I didn't really miss it too much to be honest.
I definitely think that an Elise makes it an all round better deck but it's very hard to know which card to replace as all the cards already in the deck are quite important.
Thank you for the deck list, really helped me out as I didn't think I could find a deck I liked to climb with passed all the secret Pala and zoo lock this season.
Too bad it's not working for you, Frostrush. But thank you for your oppinion and I wish you best of luck and a good climb with the other versions of control warrior.
It probably doesn't help that the 1 target i dont want to survive brawls always seems to survive and my opponent always has the answer in his hand the turn he needs it.
In my opinion this is a pretty average deck. Against the most popular deck on ladder (secret pala) it is an unwinnable match up. Against Druid I have had very very close matches and still keep losing.
I just dropped 2 ranks with this deck and it's just not working in this meta for me. I'm going back to standard control Warr.
These people did not know their shiny golden cards which cost a lot of dust will not be viable in the new format.
If they had of known beforehand that after 2 years those cards would have been unplayable in the new competitive format then I'm sure they would not have crafted those cards.
That is why I can sympathies with those guys and why I believe even a 50% dust refund would help a lot and the players would appreciate it.
Great deck, i went from rank 9 to rank 5 last night and today. I took out doomguard for dread infernal as i thought doomguard would kind of be a dead card in hand unless it gets pulled out from a voidcaller.

4050 play mode wins and just over 1k arena wins. Started Season 1 of hearthstone

It's been my favourite card in the game since I started playing in vanilla hearthstone.
As much as I'm sad to see him go it needed to happen. He was way too versatile and there is no drawback to including him in your deck.
The fact that this card became played in 41% of all decks really shows how powerful he is.
I always knew he was an undervalued card but since standard came about he has been a staple in almost all mid range and combo decks.

Dust it but wait for standard to do it because there may be new legendaries u may need to craft.

This is amazing. I really would love to see a DK class in HS so much.
