posted a message on Edwin VanCleef just isn't viable.

Not viable? I guess you don't play rogue very well. I just won a game with an 8/8 turn 2 Edwin. It's borderline broken since silence was nerfed.

Not that I would anyway but can you even dust a card from a new adventure?

posted a message on Zoo is NOT Mindless. (List of Mindless Decks)

He just worded it wrong. He's saying the ones that are low on the list are actually hard to play (I think). Soo is pretty low skill cap imo though.

Handlock. Maybe if they reduce the cost of molten giant to say, 20? Wait a second.

posted a message on Most efficient pack buying strategy?

Step 1) git gud at arena.

    Step 2) free packs eryday

    step 3) profit

Seriously though, arena is what will grow your collection fastest. I earn about a legend worth of dust every 1-2 weeks and I don't even think I'm infinite.

posted a message on What happened to MalyRogue?

Miracle can find lethal a turn or two quicker and is a little easier to play. Chessdude123 still uses it to hit high legend ranks. It's my personal favorite deck but the odds of you queing me are pretty slim and I play a lot of different decks.

Holy nova draws cards too if you do it right.

posted a message on Is the Prophet Velen Combo deck any good?

I just crafted velen today because I love combo decks and wanted to play some priest. Sipofsomas list is the one I like best so far http://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/decks/sipofsomas-otk-combo-priest-deck-list-guide/.

Like most combo decks, they are generally tough decks to play well so give yourself some time to learn it. While it's not a tier 1 deck it is certainly viable. Like anything though, if you're a good enough player and good enough with a deck you can get to legend even with tier 4 decks. It's also incredibly fun to play and many people don't see it coming

As far as matchups go with the deck i linked, it dominates zoo and control. Has tough matchups against shaman and midrange and tempo in general.

I was going to give my $.02, but I already did, on the last thread you created today on the same topic. Dust comes and goes, spend it already.

posted a message on Which legendary should i craft ?

I've said this many times now but I'll repeat myself. In a meta devoid of silence and bgh, Edwin is borderline broken.

If you're new to rogue don't get discouraged if you're not good at it at first, no one is. It's one of the toughest classes to play well but when it clicks for you its incredibly rewarding. It might take you 10 games, it might take you 500 but when you develop a feel for the class you probably won't want to play anything else.

posted a message on Is Zoolock the best deck for now?

If by best you mean most grossly overrated, then yes, it is. I've lost 3games to zoo this season (no joke) playing maly and miracle rogue and a few different warrior variations. I've only lost 1 game to them in the few days I've been playing mr Hunter. Zoo does well against shaman so maybe that's what you're playing?

Reynad was the godfather of zoo so tempo storm always over ranks the deck. Their board is always full of 1/1's that die to a slight gust of wind. Even when they have 5+ Minions I don't even feel pressured. People put too much faith in the meta snapshot rankings.

posted a message on It finally happen i got a golden legendary

Congrats. I've played since release and I've only gotten one too. Golden Van Cleef, it's like my prized possession in HS. Soon I'll have a golden rogue portrait to go with him and I'll pair them with my legend card back. If there is such a thing as intimidation in this game that surely that has to be it.

posted a message on Legendary Tier Crafting Guide

Edwin is the must craft between the two. In a meta devoid of silence and bgh he is borderline broken, he'll win you some games by himself.

i really like xaril too, great card but can be replaced with erf, teacher or journey below.

I hate this list. I don't know if miracle or Malyrogue will function without tomb pillager. Thaurissan rotating out completely kills an entire style of play in combo decks (also my favorite decks). Hopefully blizz does the right thing and adds some of these to the classic set because without these cards, entire archetypes and playstyles are no longer viable. Reno also should be made classic as it singlehandedly creates a ton of decks and variations.

The only one I'm truly happy to see go is mysterious challenger. The secret pally debacle drove me straight out of game and I wasn't sure I'd ever come back. So many bad players playing a broken idiot deck to high ranks was stomach turning.

i agree reno could stay, however, the point of new cards and new formats is to design new types of decks to play. maybe with the lack of reno, we start to see more straightforward handlock decks or consistently more zoo decks.
the fact of the matter is that, different decks deserve opportunities to be played. saying i will play miracle rogue for the next 5 years is very selfish to the community who wants a different list of decks to play every year.
personally i'm happy freeze mage is somewhat rotated out, i'm also glad patron is also rotated out somewhat currently. and i'll be happy with miracle rogue goes back to being tier 2 so other decks can be played
I agree with you and a lot of fun I'm having in standard is because it had such a meta shakeup. Thaurissan is the one that really worries me, blizz can't just kill all combo decks. Without them you end up with a very boring meta with only straight forward and simple decks to play. There would be no reason for me to bother with this game if there are no high skill cap decks to play. Blizz would bore me right back to duelyst.
Freeze is actually still a strong deck. I was quite surprised when I tried some of the new versions but the problem with freeze is that when warriors are common you just have to shelf the deck and there are a ton of warriors around.
