From what I understand, 3/3 is actually not that bad stat for a 3 drop. And this card have the insane burst potential when buffed by Cold Blood and Tinker's Sharpsword Oil which are already stable in heavier minion based oil decks. And you don't actually have to equip a weapon to get value out of him anyway, 3/3 is actually decent enough for a 3 drop with useful ability (SI:7 Agent, Earthen Ring Farseer). Compared to Thrallmar Farseer, I find this card very useful, even if it trade into a 3/4 at turn 3, the rogue weapon from turn 2 can finish the minion off. And in cases where the enemy have a 2/3 and a 4/3 (Piloted Shredder), you can trade into both by procing weapon. A lot of time, this is actually 3/3 with taunt, which is still decent when it get removed. (Grizzly). It's just kind of nice to keep him on the board to threaten your enemy. If you face a deck like Face Hunter and they ignore this minion, this card will make your deck go faster (14 damage in 1 turn with Coldblood and 22 with 2 Coldblood). Against tempo decks, even if the enemy remove it, 3/3 is still decent value.
I replaced SI:7 Agent in tempo rogue deck, and so far it is working pretty well in this aggro heavy meta. It either give me a 3/3 taunt or a minion that can push for lethal very quickly if ignored.
Come on, this guy is just an unofficial Rogue card. (Very Op as well) Just fit directly into post TGT rogue deck and have huge potential.
Although a key for comboing this card with Cold Blood is that I usually have to keep a 0/1 mana card in my hand to be able to buff it whenever I get Cold Blood. Forcing me to run a very low curve Rogue Deck with DoubleLoot Hoarder and Bloodmage Thalnos/ Double Backstab for Combo/ possibly protecting value minions despite being aggro.
I tend to run Cold Blood in all my rogue deck nowadays too. Either for Tempo/ face damage with Argent Horserider or face damage with Arcane Golem.
