I don't think this will see play in taunt druid as it has anti-synergies with oaken summons and Oakheart. In Maly druid, it certainly gives the archetype more options.
Why wouldn't it see play in taunt druid? on turn 9 you can play hadronox without having naturalize in your hand and if your hadronox gets polymorphed you still have your 3/4 hadronox in your hand that you can cube and kill easier
Because oaken summons is a pretty important defensive tool and pulling a 3/4 with no taunt is really bad. Oakheart is often really important for making sure Hadronox ever gets on the board. Now after testing ppl might determine that's a downside their willing to accept in the meta that arises. Certainly not a possiblity I would completely dismiss, especially, with so many cards still needing to be revealed.

In a deck that runs floop you would not run summons or oakheart.
I totally agree that this is more obvious than the 4 mana 7/7 , :) but I remember People also lost their sh..t when Emporer Thaurissan was announced, there was even a prenerf before release Thread.
Do you think it’s Emporer level ?
Emperor enabled far more potent combos than this ever will even if you just consider druid and ignore all the other classes. Remember zero mana living roots?
Difference is that you need less cards and that Thaurissan is a lot less flexible than Floop. Also, it supports high meta tier decks. IMO Blizzard shouldn't print this card.
Pretty sure people would be freaking out more if ET was printed for druids over this card.
Why are ppl bringing up Hadronox? If you add this instead og the spider, then Oakhearth will go and thus a lot of consistency with him.
Or would you like to recruit a 3 mana 3/4 instead of Hadronox?
[edit] Inb4 I like the design. I don't think it's broken, but just really strong in every druid combo deck. Hooray for the new expansion, it will spice up things a lot.

Exactly, so how are you planning on staying alive or having a chance against a combo druid or even shudderwock?
Why, Blizzard, Why?! When all see it will be broken, why Blizz can t?! But, we must w8 1 month before Druid will be nerfed and this card will be 6 mana or effect only this turn.
I also dont get what this card is supposef to gain players? This is something we have seen thousands of times. Why do we need a broken version? Shudderwock limits design space, but at least its a fun idea. This here isnt fun
You know, I used to believe HS cards were designed 2 expansions in advance and they would give weak cards to strong classes, vice versa based on the meta 2 expansions ago ... Now I know being OP is just part of druid class identity and this is persistent throughout every expansion :)
Good thing this is my favorite class or I'd be raging

So, as a Druid fan. How excited are you? I mean is this really that powerful or just hyped up and blown out of proportion?
I'm trying to give Blizzard the benefit of the doubt, and think of a way that this is not broken. You got to think that they play-tested the hell out of it, especially given that Maly-Druid, Taunt Druid and Big Druid are popular right now. Usually the OP (eventually nerfed) cards are less obviously broken at first, like Corridor CreeperPossessed Lackey and Bonemare. So I suspect we're missing something, but I'm worried we're not.
I will start by saying I may be totally off base, and simply lack vision. I accept and welcome the possibility of poor assessment.
I don't really get where people thinking this is absolutely busted is coming from. Sure, duplicating a card is powerful, but with no real means of cutting cost in standard, it is not like it you can do the fabled Malygos otk any better than Faceless Manipulator. Faceless Manipulator can even be better, because there are rare times Malygos survives a turn. Floop requires everything to be ready THAT TURN. In Wild, he is a nice redundancy, but again, Faceless Manipulator and Ixlid, Fungal Lord already fill the board. Floop adds nothing.
I think Floop's power will be cheap charge and wide buff degeneracy in token decks. I am sure he will find a home, his effect is excellent. I am merely pointing out it is not new.
Big Edit: Apparently, I did not listen as well as well as I should have, and did not realize Floop saves minions played between turns. I retract my statement and apologize for not paying close enough attention.

Wouldn't this + ixlid be a full board?

Inb4 they nerf malygos because of this card
Combo's new best friend.

Could it be, that Mechs are the new Handbuff??? ( since only Pally, Hunter and Warrior get class specific Mechs)
Good and fair , but other classes get showered with way stronger winconditions ?
Indeed it could be so

Yay, another broken card to ruin the game. Thank God I quit HS.
Don’t worry guys, the card will rotate out of Standard one day, so don’t complain about it.
Quit HS but didn't quit bitching about it on the internet, eh? Bold move.

Legend with : S65 Freeze Mage, S57 Maly Gonk Druid, S57 "Okay" Shaman, S53 Boom-zooka Hunter, S53 Maly Tog Druid, S52 Wild Tog Druid ft.Blingtron, S50 Quest Rogue, S49 Dead Man's Warrior, S41 Wild Clown Fiesta Druid, S41 Hadronox Jade Druid, S40 Wild OTK Dragon Druid, S35 SMOrc Shaman, S33 Jade Druid, S22 Control Priest, S19 Control Priest
Malygos turn 9 into Floop and Prince Taldaram turn 10 is just gross, I have to play wild to dirty rat or deathlord out one of the combo pieces

Dear Blizzard,
If you are going to make OP combo nonsense like this, can you PLEASE create equally absurd anti-combo cards like this...
