Ugh, silence. It pretty much guarantees that any mech deck will need to have some really impactful same turn effects for them to be really good.
And then you just fuse it again and trade over the Owl/Spellbreaker!
True. Though you just used three cards to essentially kill one. Though you may be left with a portion of two em. It would be neat if there were some special interactions with silence. Like you just split apart the minions and silence their text but don't actually get rid of them. That may be too complicated for HS's intended design though.
Every deck that uses snowballing cards will use this, its great with fungalmancer, coldblood, cobalt scalebane, acherus veteran, defender of argus, keleseth, etc. Not to mention that this will be a staple in every mech deck that focuses on tempo. I voted metadefining.
I agree - I mean, we've seen how useful Dire Mole is.
This is a really solid card for mech decks and I think this will see play outside of mech decks as well. It is a high health 2 drop that will be hard to kill which is perfect for decks focusing on buffing minions like inner fire priest
Mecha Mage is going to be coming back with a vengeance in Wild. This is an auto-include, because a Mechwarper essentially makes this a 1-drop and two of them make this a 0-drop, and now we have to deal with the fact that the Mechwarpers could be buffed so they're harder to remove. Depending on what Magnetic cards are introduced aside from the ones we already have seen, Mech Mage is essentially going to be an easy Tier 1 deck in Wild.
I know this is a reference to Dire Mole, but now I got the idea of a mech version of Dire Frenzy in my head. And I want it. Shuffling fused mechs into my deck sounds awesome.
Ok, so a 1/5 2-mana minion, Mech tag, in a new meta with magnetic upgrades solely for mechs... This is surely an auto-include for the next two years for any deck looking to pretty sticky early board presence and the possibility of great follow-up trades. Seems like a very strong card to me.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I wasn't planning on going for a run today. But those cops came out of nowhere.
Scorp o Matic will definitely start to see play now. The draw back before was it wasnt very good after it killed a 1 drop. Now you can fuse it with something on turn 3
Call to Arms + 1/5 statline minions + Righteous Protector is insane and most likely guarantees a nice following turn with magnetic-buffs. if magnetic decks are a thing.. Scorp-o-matic will be a nice tech-card for any deck and even magnetic-decks iwll play Scorp-o-matic because of the mech-synergy and vs mirror matches

Keleseth? Sure...
This TWO MANAS minion will work great with him. :P
On it's face, this card is somewhat insane. We're getting 6 stats for two mana, a very rare deal indeed. Look at Vulgar Homunculus and this is the same stats with a slightly worse array but no drawback. Additionally, all Magnetic cards are good because they effectively all have Choose One - in this case, choose between a 1/5 mech for two, or the ability to give a mech +1/+5 for two.
The issue, of course, is that a 1/5 is muuuuch worse than a 2/4, and even often less impactful than a 2/3 or 3/2. This means to be effective, this card requires combo play. The idea of Lady in White Mech Priest or Mech Combo Priest is spicy indeed, but we'll need to see if there are enough Mechs to make this card relevant as either a buff target or as a buff itself for any other classes.

I really like the design and flavor.
Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistake.

Well, since it’s a mech themed expansion, I think that’s exactly what will happen. In fact, more likely there will be lots of mech oriented decks.
This can be a great card. Let’s see more support :)

FOR THE HORDE!

nice zoo card <3
This is clearly better than Totem Golem. It should have been 1/4.
Will be the litmus for magnetic but is also not bad for other decks that want early sticky or cards to buff (never forget dire mole).
Sure sticky on 1 better than on 2 but could see play in some even list
