The main things I'm concerned with are the long term viability of the cards I craft, as well as the number of interesting/fun interactions contained in the decks.
Generally, I like playing every archetype but I've been leaning towards control and combo decks recently. After the nerfs I have about 4.5k dust on hand--after DEing all nerfted epics and the rogue quest. Beyond that, I have a little over 10k worth of extra/golden cards. I'd like to keep about 5k dust on hand after I'm finished crafting new stuff. My main classes are mage and rogue, and up until now I've played mainly standard.
Thanks for your help!
Some very real dilemmas there! Rex and Lich king are the safest crafts imo, but none of your paths are bad. Taunt druid is probably the most risky, as token seems to be the best druid deck post nerfs. Just go with whatever you think you will play the most, combo or grindy control!
Thanks for the response. I wound up crafting the Lich King and experimenting with big mage a bit. Its fun, but I could definitely be improved upon. I'm thinking of crafting some of the epics listed above and at least one of the other legendaries.
Does anyone what thoughts on which are the most important epics as well as whether the baron or dragoncaller is a better fit for the deck?
Can we demote Kalimos to Tier 2, please? Similar to Grumble it is a strong and versatile card in multiple Shaman archetypes (Elemental, Even) but both aren't on the same level as Hagatha, which is a staple in nearly every Shaman deck (including e.g. Quest/Murloc in Wild). Also, the need for an activator sometimes leads to weird turns.
Regarding Al'Akir, considering its performance in a single archetype shouldn't it be on the same Tier level as King Krush? Both Even Shaman and Recruit Hunter are mid-top Tier 2 material with winrates between ~51 and ~54%. And both legendaries probably would remain in the dumpster without their synergy cards (primarily Genn and Kathrena).

Hi, thanks!
I will have a good look at it soon. The tiers are very close now, so there is a very gradual transition between tier 1 and 2 especially. You can even make a case for cubelock still being tier 1 if you only look at higher ranks.
If the archetype performs well enough, only fitting in one deck is enough to be in tier 1. The card needs to be absolutely essential for that one archetype, though, like Skull of the Man'ari is for cubelock (demoted to tier 2 after nerfs.)
So i've been herding dust for the past few years and i have 14k dust saved plus additional few k from potential dusting, and i think its time to craft something but i don't know if it's worth.
And with the rest of the dust, some good cards like The Lich King, Alexstrasza or something else... That would leave 2 or maybe 3 legendary slots open, or some good epics. Any suggestions? I can't decide. Help me decide. Change my mind. Thanks.

All solid options. Go watch a stream to see if you like some of them. You don't have to craft it all at once...

dragoncaller has been cut from many big spell mage lists. it's a greedy inclusion that does little against aggro/tempo, and jaina will win you the value game against almost all control decks. lich king and sindragosa are usually better as a top end imo. but with the recent prominence of combo decks, perhaps dragoncaller is getting better as a finisher. geddon is moderately essential,. i really like running 2 voodoo dolls. at least 1 meteor is mandatory. most lists run 2 keysmiths.
Should i craft Kalimos, Primal Lord, Hagatha the Witch and both Corpsetaker for Even Shaman? I love Kalimos since his reveal but there was never a good deck for he, now that Even Shaman looks very well and funny to play so is a safe craft? or i should wait?
Just a cautionary to everyone on whether or not to craft something; I crafted Unite the Murlocs, and while I FULLY agree it deserves the T5 spot, i've actually pulled a 50-55% win rate with the deck. Nothing to write home about because it was mostly hovering between rank 5/4 last season but its there. If you really want to craft off-meta decks, sometimes they work. Just be fully prepared to sit through hours of deck crafting and fixing at about a 20-30% win rate before you finally get the point where you're winning positively.
Also can Dragoncaller Alanna be demoted to a T3 card? She's now no longer a *staple* in Big Spell Mage, only the extremely greedy versions of the deck run her and she's falling out of favor a little bit. Still playable, just not that staple card anymore.

Thanks! For Alanna, some of the more important and versatile Bigspell mage cards are tier 1. I will update the text. If she is level 3, she needs to be offmeta tech with a low winrate. Shaman quest might be promoted to 4 for you efforts, tier 5 should be for safe dust...

Regarding the Shaman quest I think it can be safely promoted to Tier 4 (sees play in Wild Murloc Shaman). The only quest which IMHO deserves Tier 5 status is Lakkari Sacrifice since even The Last Kaleidosaur gets to see daylight every now and then...

Corpsetaker requires you to somewhat build the deck around it but it's generally a good card, especially if you also own Al'Akir the Windlord. Your number one priority should be Hagatha (useful in any Shaman list) followed by the others.

The Last Kaleidosaur sees a LOT of experimentation still, especially with Sound the Bells! and Lynessa being printed last xpac, it's just too weak to see a lot of play outside of meme decks so that's it's downfall, if it saw more competitive play in a deck that actually tried to get a good win rate as opposed to playing games just to see how big they can make Lynessa or copying Galvadon with Zola the Gorgon i'd agree with you. Lakkari is just bad thought, even when it had the disco support; it was just bad and will never be good now that they kind of abandoned disco lock. I see Murloc Shaman making a comeback next expansion because Murlocs will ALWAYS be printed and with the support of Ghost Light Angler and any future Murlocs (from what looks to be a sea based expansion next) I see it being powerful so ya'll should watch out for that.
I personally don't play Wild so I can't give advice on it, but I know Anomalous won't really find a place in any decks of yours, unless you put him in elemental mage with Frost Lich; his board clear acts as a MUCH better Baron Geddon assuming he clears a board and isn't silenced. You could also attempt a Freeze Shaman deck or Greedy Druid with Moorabi and Aviana. Not really 'meme' decks but Greedy Druid can definitely be one, 10% of the time it works all the time. The other ones are just niche cards, Hobart you can put in a weapon warrior deck but that never really became a thing, Shifter is fun every now and then you can get a crazy card, especially in Wild. The best one you have there is Eadric, I remember times of old the third equality. I'd imagine he's still a strong card but these days he's a little outclassed by Sunkeeper Tarim. You can still probably find a deck he goes in though.

Winratewise, Kalimos, Primal Lord does BETTER than Hagatha the Witch, so putting the lord in a lower tier feels wrong, even though she sees more play. It should be obvious which is the most versatile craft, though, GO FOR THE WITCH FIRST, GUYS;-)
2 tricky considerations right now are how to treat recruit hunter and cubelock. They are both doing very well at higher levels, and strong cases could be made to promote some of the core cards to higher tiers...
I see Master Oakheart is Tier 1 because of Taunt Druid, but Hadronox is Tier 3 despite being mandatory for Taunt Druid unlike Oakheart ? Shouldn't they be on the same Tier List ?
Hey I opened a golden version of Ixlid, Fungal Lord today. I find it quite cool that it spawns golden copies of not golden minions. Druid is not my main. But I also have got a Lich King [/card] and a golden [card]Malygos but no Alex, druid quest or malfurion.
My question is if I should dust Ixlid or keep it and invest more into druid, especially Malygos druid.

Yes, I noticed that myself. I don't really understand that. Or Ixlid is Tier 4 but Jungle Giants is Tier 3? All Druid Quest decks seem to run Ixlid.

I play only wild, so my first thought is Aviana, Kun the Forgotten King cos i always found this combo interesting, and now with thoose uber OP druid cards its good. And something to combo it with like Azalina Soulthief, King Togwaggle, Malygos.

if you enjoy playing shaman novice engineer, than why not. This game is all about how it is fun to you, after all, it is just a game.

Depends on if you want to be able to play an entirely new deck (Taunt Druid) or improve your Warlock decks.

I still have a bunch of random crappy Legendaries from my travels that I feel like I should dust for better things. Can anyone offer guidance?
Or better yet, some meme decks to use these guys in? (I don't want to dust anything, I just don't want them sitting around.)
