Maybe, its because with KFT there are a lot buff spells and minions with buffing mechanics. I'm totally ok with old, 3 manacost. But it could be done cos of next expansion too.
This puts the card on the same level as Polymorph, so the nerf is fine, the card will still see play. Not really sure why the nerf was needed though...
This nerf was long over due, although not immediately necessary. It never really made sense that it cost less than Poly (I really don't count being able to ping the sheep off as a bonus.)

It is with Frost Lich Jania as it is silence + removal + a life stealing 3/6 water elemental (for another 2 mana) when your opponent is probably trying their hardest to deny 1 health minions.
Hex will change in an upcoming patch:
And exactly why was this necessary?

wow, my unite the murlocs deck was fun, but a bit underpowered. These nerfs really kill it....
Even if the card was to be nerfed to 6 Mana it would still be playable. There is no reason to nerf it anyways.

Well this is kinda unnecessary but even this makes it at the same level as polymorph so I'm fine with it
I don't play Shaman, but I'm very surprised to see this getting hit with the nerf bat. Feels to me like it was very unnecessary.
because control shaman was such a problem these days
but, i'm just emotionally salty
At least remove the taunt
Shaman's only playable basic cards are Flametongue Totem and Fire Elemental now, they probably save them for new year rotation.
.
In general, is a long due nerf ( why hex is 3 mana and polymorph 4 mana? ) but in this context it feels bad. Still voted yes tho.
Now if Shaman could only put 20 of them into their decks, they'd be able to compete against Jade Druid! :)
This seems so unnecessary to me. Hex was the only reason control shaman could compete with certain decks like greed priest.
1 question - when will the nerf take place?
Reasonable change. Hex is very powerful and the new version is still at least on par with polymorph.

Why? Just why? They could have just as well picked any other card in the game, this is so random. Hex wasn't included in many decks anymore anyways.
