Only thing is taunt decks haven't worked in the past well, as taunt is generally less good than other minions. Will have to see on this. Obviously the reward is awesome, as long as all those taunts don't gimp your deck.
This is why we need Aggro decks. Idiotic cards like this or Jade Idol that kill every other control deck with infinite value.
I dont see how aggro can cut through this taunt listlolz. Jade can still win if the game drag long enough but CW have fighting chance now. For other control deck? Good luck with this shithaha. But now mage can kill CW becuase we nolonger have armor.
There are 10 Taunt minions (11 if you're counting a buffed C'Thun). I'm not sure if there is enough card draw, but I'm not sure what else I should take out. I'm not so sure about Twilight Geomancer... I kinda wanna swap it out for a Slam.
I could also take out the Ravaging Ghouls for Slam x2 if the meta slows down enough. The whirlwind effect was mostly just for dealing with aggressive decks + an Execute activator, but Slam works better with Execute anyways.

I would say leave the Twilight Geomancer in (it's there to help stave off early aggression and to make C'thun keep you alive when you drop it), and get rid of a Tar Lord for a Slam.
If we do see the metagame get a little more greedy, I'd say keep the Tar Lords in, get rid of the Ravaging Ghouls, and add in a Doomcaller as well.
Edit: Post this on the Warrior forums; they'll be able to give you better feedback than this lowly Shaman :P

Either one of these brands will muscle out the other, or they will have different enough niches to coexist. However, I like that both archetypes have the potential to counter both Pirate decks and Jade Druid. The Whirlwind list can beat pirates by clearing them efficiently early and armoring late, and it can beat Jade Druid through a huge Whirlwind+King Mosh swing turn. The Taunt list can beat pirates by efficiently defending your face on curve, and it can beat Jade Druid by blasting them for 8 with Sulfuras's hero power.
Well, even after rank10 jade druid never will be playing full board of jades after t10. He will place them one-by-one and when they are 9+ health they will completely wreck warrior.
I think Justicar Trueheart and the more recent fatigue versions of CW has made people forget that CW is very capable of doing a lot of damage at once to face (Alexstrasza + Grommash Hellscream used to be a very reliable win condition in the Death's Bite era of CW) If you made a CW deck purely to defeat Jade druid, you absolutely could, but you want to be able to defeat aggro as well, that's why it is so hard to evaluate if CW will be any good next meta. In any case, I feel this card fits in CW very well. It's not that hard to fill a deck with good taunts anymore.
It's possible to do some preety devastating combos with sulfuras and this card.
Yeah, I'm excited about that. I Know a Guy could potentially be a natural fit for both getting Sulfuras as well as refreshing your hero power once you have Rag's power.

is it fire plume's hearth or heart? i like hearth better lol i hope the art is the typo.
I cant wait to play with this card, ive come up with a draft version of a decklist so
Hearthstone is a game of "copy and pasting"
Hmmm..... Crazed Worshipper, Twilight Geomancer, and Twin Emperor Vek'lor may be kind of interesting.
My favorite card from this set. Be prepared to Die, Insects!
Yes! Not an answer to Jade Druid I think, but every card that can deal a lot of face damage for very little mana will make the matchup better.

The biggest problem with taunt warrior and why that kind of strategy would never work is because of the armor up hero power.
There was no reason to play taunts when the hero power only gets value when the opponent goes face.
With this quest warrior can now play a full anti aggro deck and win any value game with this.
As always with every damn expansion there is a clear favoritism towards warrior.
