this isn't a "taunt warrior" card, it's a win condition in a control warrior deck without justicar. just play a bunch of taunts and removal then eight them to death with your immortal ragnaros.
THis is the legendary I am hoping for. Taunts are cheap and easy to get for F2P players. Plus, both class epics are not needed it seems. Yeah, this is what i want from my 40 packs. (PLEASE!)
is not meta defining, is Broken as hell!. One of the easiest quest to complete and one of the best reward from them. You can play it even on curve ( turn 8) Not only for CW but also for a midrange or tempo deck.
This is one of the best cards in the game. What taunt warri was lacking so far was a clear winning condition. Thats solved with this. This is sooooo strong in warrior.
Also warrior is able to counter aggro and has lots of armour heal so he can sustain himself from early pressure.
Also as second best deck ill rate quest hunter and taunt warrior should be able to counter that deck pretty well.
Alex then Gorehowl Hero power. Who need Grom lolz. Seriuosly this make CW a beast in control and value matchup again while crush aggro easy. Only Jade and maybe a version of Freeze mage cos we lost Justicar and hero power
Control Warrior. 7 taunt minions ain't that difficult. That ability though. 3 mana 4/2 weapon is good already. But that battlecry means you have a 2 mana deal 8 damage to random enemy each turn. Could also be played into some very aggressive taunt warrior (lol) which would be an insane hero power.
Either one of these brands will muscle out the other, or they will have different enough niches to coexist. However, I like that both archetypes have the potential to counter both Pirate decks and Jade Druid. The Whirlwind list can beat pirates by clearing them efficiently early and armoring late, and it can beat Jade Druid through a huge Whirlwind+King Mosh swing turn. The Taunt list can beat pirates by efficiently defending your face on curve, and it can beat Jade Druid by blasting them for 8 with Sulfuras's hero power.
Only thing is taunt decks haven't worked in the past well, as taunt is generally less good than other minions. Will have to see on this. Obviously the reward is awesome, as long as all those taunts don't gimp your deck.

Taunt is not a mechanic you can build your deck around, which is why you didn't see taunt themed decks being a thing until they released cards like Bolster. However, this card is very different from the taunt synergy cards they've done in the past - usually, taunt decks have a theme of "play for tempo and be the aggressor" which rarely works very well. Bolster and Stolen Goods are tempo cards for a tempo deck. In contrast, Fire Plume's Heart says, "Don't worry about pushing for board too hard. Just stay alive using these taunts and I'll make it worth your while."

Vvreeeew.

Too bad Garrison Commander is rotating out.
That's Incredible!
not op...
...just make a deck out of taunts.
playing wild
~nomad
Paladin Quest auto-concedes to this quest. Galvadon is useless against an army of taunts.
This cards gives a lot of late game power
Maybe... nah nah nah nah
Piest: "But i have 40 HP now !!"
Warrior: "Cool Story bro"

Voted meta defining.

I exist, I think.
This is why we need Aggro decks. Idiotic cards like this or Jade Idol that kill every other control deck with infinite value.
So people who said "Every quest reward card will cost 5" was horribly wrong!
I see a future where there are two deck archetypes for Control Warrior. First is a "damage everything" themed warrior that uses cards like Whirlwind, Cornered Sentry, Sleep with the Fishes, and King Mosh. The other variety curves out with strong taunts such as Tar Creeper, Second-Rate Bruiser, or Tar Lord to stay alive against aggro, stabilizes on the board with Brawl or a similar clear, and uses Fire Plume's Heart to close out games.

Such an easy quest for such a big reward, honestly.
