With Sylv, Thass, Justicar AND reno rotating out this year, the 6-spot will finally be open game! at last, we can actually consider other cards, whether that's good or bad!

Post in the comments what you think the new best standard 6 drop is! I've included a poll which includes what I think are some of the highest-chance best 6-drop neutrals. Yeah, they're all pretty shit, but with the big four all gone, they're actually slightly viable!

I say Aya for now, but we still have to wait till the new cards are revealed tho

Should probably change the poll to be able to select more than one option and add every neutral 6-drop to the list.  If I had to guess right now I'd say Sunwalker and The Black Knight are going to see some play if the game slows down but Gadgetzan Auctioneer and Aya Blackpaw already see play (and will both see less play after all the changes take effect).

Poll has been updated to include cairne and a few others. Sorry, I like just woke up and this was made in a rush.

Completely forgot about Defias Cleaner, but there really aren't any high value Deathrattles to remove in Standard especially since Sylvanas is rotating.  He could have been a vanilla Silence and he would have been really good and seen play, maybe over Sylvanas.

No idea what Blizz was thinking.

And I am yet again failing to see a normal poll in HPWN :D none mod made polls are always so bad (even those I made lol) and never make sense, not trying to be offensive it's just a running trend.

Anyway the aim of rotating out sylvannas and azure drake is making the 5 and 6 slot more diverse.. it's true though... that the current 6 drops mostly suck anyway rather than being sylvannas fault.. the slot is quite full of mediocre cards..

The point of the rotation is NOT having a go-to 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10 drop.

Fixing this mess of polls..

If what Blizz said is true, and we're getting another deathrattle expansion (Dammit Blizzard, never learning their lesson.) Then I'd imagine Aya and Cairne will be the premium cards for the 6 slot. Our old god N'zoth, in his horrific glory, will be the powerhouse on the scene in terms of midrange and control, so those being deathrattles I can't see them going anywhere. Plus, Jade seems to be an archetype that got all the support it needs, so it'll stick around. This is all assuming we don't get a better, more powerful legendary 6 drop, of course. Which we probably will.

Blizzard explained that Sylv is getying removed from standard as they have a lot of deathrattle synergies coming soon. There's still a chance for Defias Cleaner.

Keep in mind that Aya Blackpaw is not actually neutral. It's only go-to for rogue, druid, and shaman.
