do I need any hard single target removal like a siphon soul? The idea is for this deck to be pretty fast. I went back to the drawing board and I'm currently working on a new deck. It;s currently got a lot of taunts while I figure stuff out as they are kind of like safety net of sorts (and mess with aggro)
I would like to have a deck that is fast, but not zoo. I like the idea of glinda + portals and I think it could make for a sort of tempo warlock.
I had a fair bit of success with similar lists a couple of months back, but I ran it in an evenlock then. now I want to try it with keleseth so had to make some changes.
If you have any ideas for the deck, please feel free to let me know.
Siphon soul is only run as a 1 of in evenlock, and not very often. This deck has double the cardpool and looks to be about the same speed as evenlock, so this card shouldn't be a consideration. The meta is not quite right for it either as you can't siphon turn 3 giants and there are no other big cards of note other than lich king and taunt druid things, in which case the black knight is much better answer
You're missing defile, which is an auto include in any non-zoolock. Your early minions aren't stats-oriented enough to fight for board and the inclusion of mountain giants means you'll be spending your early turns tapping rather than tempoing out. Taunts are nice for stalling but they do not help clean up the board afterwards
The other way you could build this is to cut the controly cards and make it more zoo-like with the addition of the happy ghoul package. You already have Prince and the package is great synergy with Glinda. You can fill the board with echo happy ghouls. Echoing voodoo doctors can heal you out of danger or buff a lightwarden massively. Your sea giant will become much better as well

thanks. I took out defile so I could try keleseth. I could go with much more zoo looking package then instead of having the control cards.
so then would I just build it like heal zoo? would I be dumping the giants and stuff in this case as well? thanks (maybe just sea giant and dump the mountain giants?)
Its a video series of 3 parts, it can give you the general idea. What new cards could you fit in is another story, I havent really thought about that.
thanks dude. I will check that out. why argent commander over leeroy btw? without having portals you can't spam these out anyway. I tried to make the deck with meat wagon and portal, but theres just not any room.

Yeah, either go with control style with defile or zoo with prince. Hybridizing decks is often fun but defile is too important of a card to cut from any warlock that doesn't fight for early board. Keep in mind that warriors often also run warpath defile but theirs usually costs 6 or 8 mana. The card is OP
If you're going zoo, you'll dump the mountain giants since you're playing early minions rather than tapping. Everything other than the facelesses and godfrey could work fine in a zoo shell though
You could also keep the control style with giants and only add voodoo doctors/happy ghouls for the Glinda synergy. Then you'd tap the giants out and only drop the ghouls at the right moments rather than for tempo. I'm not entirely sure how well this would work, so it's up to you to test these

yeah I will try that out. I do have an older deck that has the ghoul package in a slower deck. I can't remember if I deleted it or not though (we need more deck slots)
this is what the deck is looking like currently anyway. anything else I could add to make it better you think? I'm missing a silence for one. I think any aggro deck is gonna need 2 x silence with the mech's in the new meta (but then the deck would be totally different anyway as I'd have new cards)
I don't know whether to have leeroy or argent commander, leeroy is probably better tbh for lethals, not sure.
I don't have corpse takers. Have always wanted to try them out though. never managed to even pull one from packs. Then there are other epics that I get all the time. ha ha. sure it's like that for everyone though.
Yes, defile is definitily a must have in any control lock just like the spellstones.
Glinda is my favorite warlock Legendary just like Rin which, i think, is also a must have to counter slow decks like quest Priest or Big spell mage. Plus it can be a good bait for silence/transform effects in some match ups. And you can oftenly get it from the stonehill defenders.
I like the Idea of having a small minion that you can spam the board with in a t9 10 with glinda in aggro match ups. Just like the voodoo doctor that can heal you up for eight on 10 and put some pressure. Gnomeferatu and tainted zealot are also decent threats to combo with glinda.
Dont forget that the magnetism mechanic is gonna bring some crazy new combos with meat wagon so your deck might change a lot in the next few days

thanks. I usually do run defile, but I wanted to try running keleseth just for a laugh and try and make some big things with it. I would normally be running them (and rin)
I made a zoo deck with Glinda in and then will just turn my other one back into a control deck again.

You can run 2 void rippers instead of silence. That's what's popular among the faster decks these days anyway. You can worry about mechs later. The first few days of the expansion is for proactivity, not tech cards because you can't counter a meta that hasn't solidified yet. And for all you know, half of this deck might be replace by mechs itself when BoomsDay arrives
Argent commander is making a resurgence in the meta but you should remember that he's only played in decks where half the card pool is slashed (even decks), often with supporting synergy, and definitely not even an auto include even in decks that run him. Leeroy is what you want in zoo
This is the Warlock deck I'm rolling with. Works okay. Thought I'd drop it here in case some of my decisions give you any new ideas.

thanks dude. will bear this in mind. I do like my dual ripper decks. this is how I run my odd rogue.
I don't have one in my odd paladin currently, I tend to run ironbeak owl instead to help push for lethal past a taunt. might try void ripper in that deck too as it's what I'm currently laddering with.
PS: the other guy was running argent because he had life drinkers or whatever they are called so it had synergy. I don't have those guys or I'd try them out.
If you're interested in trying out more ideas, I made an even warlock with Glenda. It's a very Control-style deck. I am considering to replace Baleful Bankers with Sunfury Protectors, because it might do better against Aggro.

thanks. I have a very similar deck myself. I wouldn't run the twisting nether's as you really don't wanna wipe the board with a glinda deck. you can take lord +1 defile though if you really feel the need for some hard removal.
typically a glinda deck will play like something else and then switch up to glinda mode and spam out stuff they just can't deal with.
This is why I tend to run it in an even lock deck. it really just looks like even lock and you can bait out removal before placing glinda down. once you manage to spam out those 4 mana 7/7 taunts they usually concede.
a good piece of removal to use is Shadowflame as you can have so many 8/8's, just turning one into a board clear is amazing tempo. you don't loose your minions neither.
I'd seriously recommend this card in even glinda lock.

this is what I tend to run. Shadowflame is so good in this style deck. we could probably even cut gul'dan as it's supposed to be a fast deck, and there isn't much to bring back. I just like it as a last ditch to use it for gaining more health and using it to clear minions... sometimes I find gul'dan is worth it even without the rez.
I definitely think it could be cut for something else though... maybe jaraxxus?
